Cafe Luxembourg is offering reservations for indoor and outdoor dining. Walk-Ins are welcome. Our Outdoor Cafe is complete with rain-proof awnings, electric heaters and flexible plexiglass windows for your comfort.

It’s now a “go to” restaurant for us in NYC. Sometimes the tables are very close and sometimes the noise can get a little much but the service is so good and the food and cocktails are just right.

I asked for a martini with no vermouth. The martini arrived with vermouth, and too much vermouth for my taste. The shrimp cocktail and accompanying sauces were excellent. My roasted chicken entree however was pretty bad. Overcooked with a bland stuffing, and but for the mushrooms, flavorless.

It is always a treat to have a tartare dinner: salmon tartare appetizer and beef tartare main. It's great diet fare if you have them leave off the bread and have a side salad instead of the frites that come with the beef tartare.

Reliable and always festive. We had a great dinner last night and were even able to hear each other speak! We're in the hearing aid crowd but at 10 pm things were quite reasonable.

Dinner with my sister, catching up and lingering over delicious food. We shared the Mac n cheese. Do NOT miss this blend. We prepare our own and marvel at the creamy and crunchy textures. Divine. Fish n chips. Tuna burger. I’ve been here many times prior - mussels, roast chicken, it’s all consistently excellent.

Outdoor dining doesn’t work. Heaters are inadequate and it’s very cold and drafty. Had to wear our coats the whole time. And now we feel sick. AVOID if you can’t eat indoors.

Cafe Luxembourg doesn't disappoint. One of the few places that stayed around, and has not changed much, which is good. Ambience, service, food are really good. One of the places to go to, whether you're from NYC or just visiting

Friendly and considerate staff-but slow at times; pricey; steak at next table looked very good; We had the Thanksgiving Turkey Platter but the portions looked small, mine tasted bitter with hardly any stuffing. My date said her turkey was dry. It seems that Cafe Luxembourg does not know how to cook Thanksgiving food. If there is a next time we will get the steak.

We visited on Thanksgiving; it’s one of our favorite ways to spend the holiday and we have done it several times before. This time, the service seemed a bit “off.” Although our servers were pleasant, they were not very attentive. We spent a great deal of time waiting for basic things, including an unusually long wait for dessert—keeping in mind that our order consisted of an espresso and two scoops of ice cream. We love this restaurant and hope that this was a one-off oddity.

The thanksgiving special had industrial looking white meat only Turkey, the sausage dressing had no sausage and was dry, and the mashed Potatoes were cold. This otherwise good brasserie should offer its full regular menu on holidays and skip the specials.
