Amazing food and even more amazing service!!
My boyfriend and I love going to Cafe Lurcat for their date night specials! It is our go to spot for an easy yet elegant date night!
More than excellent. It's excellent every time we are there.
Wonderful and very friendly staff. Sunday night date night was a great deal! Very impressed
Perfect service and beautiful restaurant
We have been to Lurcat a number of times both for their food and service. Our waiter Ken is one of the reasons we enjoy this restaurant so much. He is energetic, knowledgeable, and animated all at the same time! The food is always prepared wonderfully with a multitude of flavors in each dish. Even the cocktails are a joy to behold - and more of a joy to drink! Always a good time at The Cat.
Excellent restaurant! The food and service was outstanding! My only complaint would be the specification of water type when we first arrived. There were 5 of us and none of us heard Tap Water as an option. Only to discover the water we thought was free cost us $18!
Great evening at Cafe Lurcat. All four of us loved our meals (Lamb, Tenderloin, Salmon, Chicken). The Crab Cakes are still terrific. Very good service. It is one of our favorite places to eat.
The apple, cheese & chive salad, as well as the Miso Sea Bass are amazing. Great place for Valentines Day.
Great for a romantic evening. Our server had a great personality and added so much to the experience.
Cafe Lurcat is an absolute experience, beyond just the food or drink. Chandeliers hang from the ceiling with care, everything is absolutely neat and tidy and cleaned.
Nice relaxing place to enjoy amazing food! Atmosphere was just perfect with the right amount of noise.
outstanding server, very professional, and a good sommelier to help with the wine list
Wow we were meeting friends for fellowship and a belated bday celebration. Sea bass my husband is dreaming of already. Flat iron steak was amazing as well. Thank you and yes, we'll be back!
Exceptional service and a tremendous meal! All of our courses and entries were absolutely delicious and all of the staff were friendly, courteous and responsive. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night or special occasion, I would recommend Cafe Lurcat to anyone looking for a special place to get an incredible meal.
A very classy staff and great food! I’d recommend this place!
Great fine dining restaurant in Downtown with incredible views across Loring Park.
It was a birthday celebration. The server was great, but the service was slow and the place was pretty loud for such an elegant restaurant.
The service was impeccable. Efficient, informative and friendly.
It is still our go to place in the Twin Cities for special occasions and out of town guests. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is romantic and sophisticated, and the service is exceptional. Other places are fun to try, but Lurcat has never disappointed us and has only become better under the watchful eye of executive chef Jordan Swiler.
Another great experience at Cafe Lurcat. Everyone on staff was attentive and pleasant. Our server also was courteous and professional. He knew the menu very well and made great recommendations during our stay. The courses were timed well and the food was delicious. Great job and thank you.
Our waiter - Mitch is very good at his job. Really enjoyed the experience.
The service was extremely friendly and personal. The food came out very uneven (read-a long time between courses) but it was worth it. Although the sea bass was suppose to have Chinese noodles and cole slaw and there was no Chinese noodles. We didn't realize it until we were leaving and looked at the menu. It is a restaurant with big tables next to smaller tables so the noise level around us from the big tables was a lot louder then those of us that were celebrating a more intimate occasion. Kind of annoying.
We enjoyed the atmosphere and food. The experience was exactly what we were hoping for.
We always enjoy our visits to Cafe Lurcat. We enjoyed our time in the bar with drinks, fries, apple and cheese salad, and the awesome Sea Bass!!!!!
This is a great restaurant needs a little refreshing of the decor
Group of 13 for dinner. One of the best meals ever.
Such a great restaurant! Great for a little date night and even better for a girls night out!
Great place for a group or a romantic dinner
Food was wonderful, best sea bass I have ever eaten. Others were also very impressed with the food quality. We had table of six, and we just could not carry on a conversation.... it is really loud in there with the flat ceiling, solid floors, etc. Also, it was a busy night, so our desserts were delayed a LONG time but then the staff apologized and did not charge for these desserts. Wine selections were handled very well. The bill was expensive, but we knew that this would be the case.
To celebrate our "Dry January" (and we made it!), we went to Lurcat. We were there having New Years Eve libations, and did not have another drink until 32 days later, at Lurcat, Feb. 1st. Believe me, they did not disappoint!! ALWAYS great food, great service, great cocktails.
Experience was great, but food was just ok. A couple of my scallops were undercooked. For the price of the entrees I would expect them to be better thank ok!
We love eating out at different restaurants around the cities and you know you picked a good restaurant to eat when you are still talking about how good the food was a couple of days later.
We have gone to Sunday night date night numerous times. The food this time was very disappointing. The steak, chicken and pork were all mediocre.
Lurcat has been my favorite restaurant for a number of years. I have my favorite menu items, and it's very hard for me to deviate, although I know everything is good there. The apple, cheese and chive salad is crisp and light. The Miso Seabass is like butter. And no one should leave without ordering the mini donuts!
