About Cafe Luna
Café Luna is an Italian restaurant located in the beautiful Naples, Florida. It has a solid pizza menu, including an appetizing, gluten-free pizza. One of the most popular orders at Café Luna is the Serendipity Pizza, which is a white pizza with grilled chicken, gorgonzola, mozzarella, caramelized onions, diced tomatoes, fresh arugula and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar giving it a bite of tang. Café Luna's lobster ravioli and chicken fricassee are both in-demand orders at this hip Italian spot. If you're in the mood for a small appetizer, Luna's suggest its Arancini, which are fried rice balls coated and bread crumbs filled with melted cheese and fried to crispy perfection. This is a meal in and of itself. Go to Lunas and enjoy this Italian novelty.

Cafe Luna - Permanently Closed Ratings and Reviews
We love Cafe Luna and are very sad they were forced to leave 5th Avenue in Naples. We will continue to follow them in their new locations but it won't be the same. Part of the enjoyment was being downtown. We really don't need more boutiques and condos on 5th. Our door dining is much nicer.
The food here is good. My wife is gluten-free and really enjoyed the gluten free pasta. I had a caesar salad, which was average. I also ordered the garlic knot appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. For my entree, I had the chick parm, which was good. The service was great. Our waitress - I believe her name was Maureen - was really great.
Although the food is consistently good, the "Wal-Mart" ambience around the "veally good deal" is really annoying. And our server definitely missed the mark on the customer is always right rule, trying to tell us to order something different rather than just adjusting the meal order (subbing marinara for cream sauce, for example). Probably won't go back.
Sat outside with tables tightly bunched together. Waiter explained "early bird" dining and then proceeded to tell us the wine with the 2 for $29 had no body and if we went with the special we should upgrade for $10. We decided not to do the special but did order drinks. After he took order, ask for bread 4 times before we got any. Food arrived but not very tasty, pretty bland (spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, chicken orza).
Too many other choices to return to Cafe Luna
Cafe Luna is a great place for food and drink with a great ambiance. We had a great meal with a bottle of wine for under $40! Patrick was great as our server and helped make it a perfect night. If you are looking for a quaint outdoor spot with great food and value this is perfect.
Unfortunately they are closing this location the end of April so Mr McCabe can build a more pricey building. This is a big loss for 5 th Avenue and the public. So sad. If you want the same food and happy hour they have a place at the Liberty mall on 41. Good luck. We will be there soon to enjoy the same menu.
Excellent place to bring kids - food was really good and it has a great casual vibe. Very tired decor, but it sort of contributes to the atmosphere in a positive way (if that's possible!). It feels like a neighborhood cafe. We've been here several times with our kids over the last year and it never disappoints.
Cafe Luna has been a regular spot for my husband and our friends because of the "Veally good deal" and ambience. I was upset that the tri-colored Tortellini, my favorite dish, was removed from the menu. I tried the cheese ravioli instead, but did not like it very much and the whole table was surprised at the small portion (5 cheese ravioli didn't seem like enough, especially in comparison to the generous serving of Tortellini, of which I always ending up taking half home). My party did take a while to order entrees, but as soon as we did our server was absent for a long time, until several minutes after our food was served. Hence, our wine was not served until entrees had been at the table for awhile (I had practically finished mine). Our server was very attentive after that point. After frequenting this spot for years, I can't say for sure if we will be back...but if so, it will be for the 5th Avenue Salad, which is the best salad in town.
I live in Naples and go to cafe luna at least once a week. Unfortunately this great
find is being forced to close down due to the building of high priced 3 story
Condos. This will all take place on April 28th, 2016. Once again the resturant with
affordable prices, friendly atmosphere and a great view is being forced to close
for more very high priced condos and of course a new very high priced resturant
right down the block. We all loved cafe luna and are very sorry to say goodby.
First visit to Cafe Luna. Reviews were generally good, so we decided to try it. Food actually was good. Pastas being the best choices. However, the restaurant was overcrowded and extremely noisy. Our waiter was very good but he was quite overworked. Probably will not return.
