   We purposefully went to Cafe L'Europe to listen to Amandah play the piano and sing...she is such a talent! We were seated at an ideal table and Miguel our waiter was extraordinary. Always special at Cafe L'Europe!

   Cafe L'Europe - St Armand's is truly an experience. I would highly recommend getting a seat in the piano room on Friday & Saturday nights, as there is live music. The staff is phenomenal and the food is delicious. I will be returning.

   Food & service were outstanding. Both exceeded expectations. 6 old friends meeting for dinner & conversation. Could not have been better. Each entry was served beautifully & exactly as described. The server, Morgan may have been the best ever. Always there but never an interruption. Definitely our new go to spot.

   Unfortunately the service was lacking. We waited for 15 minutes for our drinks and at least 60 minutes for dinner. Our wine order came half way through dinner. Food was good but not outstanding.

    Our service Sue was outstanding. We went on Mother’s Day, and they had a Mother’s Day special of an item that used to be on the menu, which was outstanding the chicken Milanese. One of my favorite meals.

One standout dish that I highly recommend is the Duck L'Orange, which features Duck served with creamy sweet potatoes. And don't forget to save room for dessert – the Bananas Foster is simply divine.     We have had several really good meals at Cafe L'Europe. Unfortunately, this visit was quite disappointing. We have our eyes wide open as to price points, but expect excellent quality in return. This visit had escargot that were tiny, chewy, and in a over-peppered sauce. Veal piccata was unacceptably tough and served lukewarm as if it was prepared before other entrees and then sat waiting to be served. Salads were not crispy fresh. Fish was not memorable. We hope this was a one-off.

    My friend and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Cafe L'Europe while we were visiting Sarasota. Our waiter, Manuel, was absolutely delightful. In fact, we had such a lovely time there that we returned the following week on our way to the airport. Manuel was once again our waiter and it was the perfect ending to our stay in Florida. Everything about Cafe L'Europe is top notch; the service, the food, and the ambiance. We will make a visit there a regular event while in Florida.

    We were the forgotten table. I can appreciate a leisurely meal, however our night was ridiculous. 30 minutes to get a drink, then another 40 to take our order. The food was hot and delicious, came out in a timely fashion but the server wouldn’t have known that because he never returned to ask. (The calamari was chewy, but tasted good. We couldn’t have sent it back, because there was no one to tell) He never offered a second drink? It was weird. We got there at 6:30, we had a reservation and were seated immediately. They had enough help, and didn’t leave until 10?

    Wonderful evening! We celebrated a friend’s birthday and dinner was delicious. The birthday girl had mushroom gnocchi with short rib on top and I had veal piccata. We shared the apple fennel salad and for dessert we had a banana bread pudding with brûlées bananas.

    The waitress was mildly friendly, It seemed like us was to much effort to be pleasant! The Caesar salad was the worst that I ever had! Prices were to high for the amount of food that we received! My husband and I came to the place of dining for 12 years ! It was really great, not so much now! I was very disappointed in everything! He passed away 6 years ago!!! It was wonderful then!!!     We sat out on the patio adjacent to the sidewalk, and the service was absolutely abysmal. It was as though the waiter completely forgot about us. He was also not real helpful in answering questions regarding the menu.

    I had the duck.. The sauce was a bit bitter and the vegetable was spinach with a mystery mush of some sort. I also had the Caesar salad with anchovies. The salad dressing was blah. The lettuce itself consisted of several long pieces of romaine spears that were difficult to cut. I would never go back.

    Probably the best restaurant on St. Armand circle. Outstanding food with exceptional service. The pianist made the night even more enjoyable. I never visit the Sarasota area without dining at Cafe L'Europe at least once.
