I am so relieved that Cafe Ginger continues to provide its wonderful food, even though they had to relocate a couple of years ago. I love going there and it is fun to be there with friends as well.

Food and atmosphere were outstanding. I had the Rocky Roll and shared the Mushu Pork appetizer and both were delectable - highly recommend both.

The Asian art displayed makes for a great ambience. The food is excellent, as is the service, and prices are reasonable for the quality that you receive. My wife and I eat there regularly and bring friends there.

I met my parents for lunch at Cafe Ginger and enjoyed the experience. The food and service were excellent. Servers stopped by often enough to keep waters from going empty but not too often to annoy. Excellent!

Lovely dinner at Cafe Ginger. Attentive but private service from Kalliae this evening. Delicious food ( Sesame chicken, Eggplant chicken, fried pork and vegetable dumplings) . Nice atmosphere for holidays and music at perfect dining level and appropriate to upscale dining. From arrival to departure you are certainly made to feel welcome and this has become our new upscale Chinese restaurant after 30 years at Kams in Montrose. Sadly Kams is no more but a new chapter at Cafe Ginger is off to a delightful start.

Sushi roll lunch special tasted off today (i.e., not fresh). That's a shame...used to be a reliable place for fresh sushi.

One of our favorite’Go To’ places when we want to be sure to have a great meal with great service. We had family in for Thanksgiving and no doubt which restaurant to go after the big ‘turkey day’. You won’t get surprised at Cafe Ginger😃

Have been there several times and food was always consistently good. A little pricey for Chinese food, but it’s so much easier than driving to Chinatown. Nice decor and ambience!

A great restaurant - one of best kept secrets since they moved to new location. Easy to park, great food and service make it one of our favorite 'go to' restaurants for dinner. If you are dining on the weekend, suggest you make reservations through Open Table. They seat us immediately when we have reservations. Wife loves the Sushi and I go for more traditional dishes. Wine fairly priced. Have not spoken with any of our friends who had a bad experience.

I’ve been coming to Cafe Ginger for the last 5 years if not more.
The quality of today’s meal and new chef are horrible. The food tasted so bland, beef was super dry and they got my order wrong and still didn’t take care of anything. I’m absolutely shocked on how terrible my meal was and after telling the waiter the restaurant didn’t do anything to make it up at all. I spent over $55 for a horrible dinning experience save your money and go to Mala Sichuan instead.

Upscale Chinese restaurant which also offers excellent sushi. This was the first time my husband had been and he thoroughly enjoyed it. He is not a sushi eater but the many Chinese dishes were perfect for him. We both had the spicy Thai seafood soup which was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant

You run out of superlatives to describe this place. It is a beautiful and artistic venue that serves the best Asian food in Houston. Service is invariably impeccable. It is priced acceptably for the quality of the food, service and surroundings. It is our "go to" place for a great meal.

The service was fantastic and quick. I went on a lunch date and I was out within 45 minutes. I had the Happy Family it was made to PERFECTION!

Excellent happy hour selections and prices. The Chinese food noodles and dumplings were flavorful, while the tempura and sushi were very good. They also gave us a free slice of cheesecake for my daughter's birthday. I really like the acoustics in the restaurant where the 4 of us could actually hear each other talking without yelling.

Our first time at Cafe Ginger after our favorite restaurant of 30 years closed. This looks to be its replacement. Eric and Malla provided wonderful service and a welcome. Sesame chicken was delicious and I especially enjoyed the spicy sauce the manager Erc made for my dumplings and sesame chicken!

The service is the BIGGEST downfall! Even when you make it clear that you need to leave at a certain time for the theatre, they don’t seem to care!

Horrible experience with seating for the second straight time. Seated next to a family table of kids - one of the young ones had a meltdown and screamed so loud and so long it ruined our meal. We could not even hear each other talk. It created stress in the entire restaurant. It was the second time this has happened to us. We request a quite table in our profile and I don't think they read it. Be warned that if you put a table preference in your profile, it does not mean they will read it. It will definitely impact our decision on whether to return. Great food and service- it will be ashamed not to return.

Cafe Ginger is my go to neighborhood restaurant. Unlike other popular restaurants, the noise level (piano music) is perfect. I can have a quiet conversation with friends and not strain to hear. The food is excellent and beautifully presented. The sushi bar offers sashimi, which is one of my favorite things. The presentation is awesome. I've talked myself into going there again today for happy hour!
