Brought the children whilst in Manchester as one is a united fan
Booked a table when I booked a stay at hotel football old Trafford, food was absolutely fantastic and the waitress was very nice.
My husband is a picky person and she advised him on a few things which was great, will book again next time we here
Great value for money and really lovely food. The staff were really friendly and the place had a great atmosphere.
On first glance the menu didn't offer much of interest (aimed at a younger generation who didn't mind how much their waistlines expanded). However, upon closer inspection dishes of interest could be found and they were delicious. The service was also good - all the staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Beautiful location with a view of Old Trafford, the menu looks good at first glance. The service is very poor considering how under staffed the café is I guess that can be expected. The food we had was pretty awful, maybe we just had poor luck.
Chicken Wings Starter- Completely raw chicken under breadcrumb coating
Burgers ordered- This was average but we had no appetite after the raw starter this may have clouded our palettes on the main course
Drinks- Cocktails are creative and tasty so are the milkshakes
Always great food and fabulous service. Went to eat and then watch the Europa Cup final in the downstairs Old Trafford Supporters Club, but recommend the restaurant for any occasion.
Lovely meal and very friendly staff. Will definitely be back
perfect for the footy and great food and value anytime
Very good experience, all the staff were right on the ball and really helpful.
Returned here having had a good meal previously. Service was good, there when needed but not in the way. Portion size is good and each meal presented differently. Unfortunately had to send back the chicken wings which were on the black side of crispy. Well handled by the waitress who oversaw a fresh batch being produced, apologised and explained problems with the fryer. Did not spoil a good meal. Local craft beer, Seven Brothers went down well.
Awful experience with their services this time. First they didn't give us the table we requested for. Second, the waitress called Hollie said we didn't ask her for the bill, and asked another waitress, such that she didn't give me the bills. Instead she has time to flirt other male customers 😡
Fabulous venue, attentive staff, great atmosphere. Really helpful and reassuring with my gluten free requirements (coeliac) and really lovely gluten free pasta. Would recommend for numerous different occasions, staff always make you feel special and welcome.
We are big Man Utd fans, so it was a really nice experience to do.
Food really good, as was the service.
There was a good buzz about the place.
Definitely come again, and would like to stay in hotel next time as was full when we came for visit and match.
Excellent service right from the moment we walked in, great place to go before a match & my Son was really impressed, great game too beating Chelsea 2-0, what a day!
Food and service was excellent, all staff very friendly especially our waitress, can't wait to go again before the match , only bad thing is we can't get a table for future games as it's fully booked up!
Fabulous staff and good food in friendly and casual surroundings. Recommend Cafe Football to couples, groups, and families for a fun night out especially if there is live football on. We were celebrating a birthday and staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Will definately return.
Great staff, great food and great atmosphere on a match day. Enjoyed it a lot.
A must of any footie fan or united fan, food and service was very good had views of the ground and showed live football on screens.50 yards from old Trafford a must if your visiting.
Great service in a great location food was outstanding
There is no finer place to have a meal either on matchdays or not.
Being so close to the Theatre of Dreams and the Mega Store and on matchdays
you can use the dedicated train station as well
Went after the Manchester United vs West Brom game for my Mum's 50th Birthday. All staff were fantastic with this, making the occasion excellent for us. The food is brilliant and great value. Would recommend to anybody who loves great food, a good atmosphere, and brilliant staff
Food is great but it's very expensive for the simplicity.
Sorry Gary, but the service was more "Ralph Milne" than David Beckham. Three times we were sent the wrong drinks and main meal, had to wait 20 mins for the first drink to arrive and you are losing a fortune, had service been quicker I would have had at least 3 more pints during the game. The service was like Arsenal on a bad day, plenty of staff looking pretty and busy but frankly going nowhere and completely ineffective. The food was pretty average at best and we were over charged on fries as the waitress mistakenly ordered additionals that were not required. Season tkt holder at OT - grew up with class of 92 and love what you have done but the service really was a shambles - that said the place was clean, great coverage of the game, great location and half time oranges are a great touch as is the sweet shop. But - but - BASICS! I'd sum it up like a very disappointing 3-0 loss at home.
Good place to watch football there.
Really impressed with decor.Excellent location for football fans.Fantastic for a birthday treat for family.Amazing food.Pleasantly surprised and good prices.Really enjoyed our visit and would definitely return and recommend. Thanks for the cake and singing for my Son too.
we visited cafe football after the football match and had a lovely meal.
nothing was to much trouble for the staff and we all had a brill time, will definitely visit again again, would recommend to anyone weather they like football or not.
The food fantastic the staff where amazing couldn't fault it at all thanks again will see you soon
Fantastic venue for all occasions, love the place. Food is superb, pretty good value. Great setting, staff are great. Very family friendly.
really enjoyed my visit, excellant food and great service, me and my 2 friends would definitely return..
Food good, combined with excellent service and atmos. Excllent touch with birthday treat for my daughter. Thoroughly enjoyable, and will definitely be back.
We enjoyed our food but the service was terrible. Our waiter disappeared for 15 minutes and obviously didn't ask anyone else to look after the section of tables we were sat at
I attended with my fiance and we had a really nice eavaning the food was spot on
Had a tour of Old Trafford and booked lunch for 2 adults and 2 children. Food was excellent but they got the order wrong for one of the children so we received 20% off our bill which was good. Food and staff were great, let down by waiting on food arriving at our table, restaurant wasn't really busy at the time but wouldn't put us off going back if we were down again.
Food was lovely and the staff couldn't of been any more helpful than they was. I booked it as a surprise for my boyfriends birthday and they put ballons out, gave me a good view of the Screens and then after we finished our meal they surprised my boyfriend with a Sweet cake! It was worth the money and I will be returning again.
We were in Old Trafford for the match with the kids. Ate here for 3 of our 4 day stay. Had the Friday steak deal and the £10 lunch deal and an after match tea. Food was fresh, tasty and well cooked. Loved it......I never leave reviews but for Café Football I have.
All our food was truly amazing and we cant wait to come back someday.
The food, service and general atmosphere of the restaurant (on a football match day) was great - but our visit was spoilt by our table being adjacent to the main entrance door which meant we were in an ice cold draught all the while we were there. Even wearing coats and scarves, we were still cold throughout our entire meal, hence the 'overall experience' review being marked down as only 'fair'.
Excellent start to a visit to Old Trafford, good food and drink and brilliant sporting atmosphere.
Overall it was good.we had a problem with a starter which they changed and did not charge us for both starters when we asked for the bill they automatically put on a service charge of 12.5 % which I asked them to remove.
