I visited for an anniversary and we went for Sunday brunch. Everything from the food quality, selection, service, music and atmosphere were superb. I highly recommend for special occasions.
Wonderful! Will definitely be back!
We went for the Mother’s Day Brunch. At $110.00 a person (5 of us) I expected a lot better!!! The food was the same as when we go for a regular brunch! Not only that but the desserts were not as good. Rice Krispies and Cupcakes!!! Very disappointed!!! Really a shame we expected so much more not the same and less!!
No way would I recommend this brunch ! I also requested a table closer to the buffet area due to my elderly father not being able to walk far but they said they had nothing closer the tables were taken. You live and Learn an expensive lesson!
Uniformly good and changing menue. One of few places can have ;productive business lunch and meet friends dong the same.
The breakfast plate was perfect for the start in the day. Many thanks for the nice service.
food was ok, inattentive service, nothing special, no reason to go back.
Food was great but a $75 buffet is highway robbery. I live in Vegas and the best buffets are a mile long and half the price. Absolutely crazy.
The food was unbelievable. My grade school daughters loved it as did my wife. A perfect Mother’s Day brunch
Carlos was the best! Went for an early Mother’s Day celebration and tried that chocolate buffet. Fun experience.
high quality, low key quiet place, most useful to have conversation, food of excellent quality. wait service excellent, excellent atmosphere. i come here on a regular basis for both business and bringing friends visiting Boston
Beautiful restaurant with a lovely choice of food at the Sunday brunch buffet. A bit on the expensive side. The price wouldn’t be so bad if at least one alcoholic beverage was included.
We were seated early and the staff was very gracious. There was a tremendous amount of delicious food and healthy options to choose from, which I later negated by stuffing myself with decadent desserts. There is something for everyone even the fussiest eaters. Nice section of eats for kids as well. Great cocktails and wine
i wanted to love this place because the chocolate brunch was delicious and wait staff were pleasant but unfortunately my service with the reception team made for a upset afternoon. the reception staff treated me and my friend like idiots because we made an reservation at the wrong time for the chocolate brunch. after canceling our reservation and apologizing we secluded for a different time when the chocolate brunch was being severs only to be recognized by the same person and to have them roll there eyes at us for 'causing such a fuss'. as a receptionist myself i knew it was odd when she wrote down my full name on her serving pad and we were watched like a hawk throughout as if we were not going to pay.
i will not be going here again for any reason if it can be helped.
I had not been here in a while. We had a lovely business lunch. Sitting by the window is enjoyable and quiet to have a discussion. Good service and food.
Ridiculously expensive for Sunday brunch. $75 per adult and it did not include drinks. Good brunch but not worth $75 per person.
It was the birthday treat for my Mom & Myself, she enjoyed the food on the lighter fare menu the Chocolate Bar was wonderful, the ambiance MUSIC live quartet excellent, great way to spend our Saturday afternoon
Magnificent. Went for the chocolate buffet and it exceeded expectations.
My friends and I crossed the chocolate extravaganza off our bucket list this past weekend. The ambiance was superb as was the wait staff. The buffet was extraordinary and lavish. Setting a slow pace was necessary to sample as many items as possible, and each selection was just as good as the last. The attention to detail in all aspects was shown from our superb waitress explaining the theme and layout to the creations presented. There is no doubt we will be attending this event again.
The food was delicious and the service was perfect.
Hailed as the best dessert place around. Unfortunately, while there is many many desserts to choose from none where outstanding, all were just good...
Birthday for our daughter
I went with two people for lunch and ordered light. Only drank water. The bill was close to $80 without tip! Really, for lunch in a hotel??? There is nothing special about it and the prices are 2x what they should be. Maybe they need to charge more money because nobody goes there. It was pretty empty during prime-time business lunch hours. There are too many other options in Boston and I would recommend people to STAY AWAY!
We had an absolute awesome time at the all you can eat chocolate, there was so much to choose from and it was delicious, the staff was fantastic and the girl at the crape station was
unbelievable. We are defiantly going back.
We went to the chocolate buffet.. this is our 4th time going, the 2nd for our 9 year old, and 1st for our 3 year old.. the selection. Is incredible and the quality is top notch.. there is something for everybody
Everyone should experience the chocolate bar at least once! We celebrated our daughter's birthday with her fiance. Lee did an awesome job of keeping us supplied with clean plates, water, coffee, and great jokes ... as we wandered with open eyes and mouths through mountains of chocolate on all sides. It was fantastic!!
Dined at Easter Brunch. It was a beautiful setting, very elegant. A quartet played jazz and so it was very nice. The buffet selection was very extensive. I was not able to sample everything.
The prime rib was excellent, but no au jus? The lamb wasn’t as tender and lacked taste. Think average buffet beef roast... it didn’t compare to the prime rib.
The oysters were flavorful, but the crab claws were thawed and had virtually no taste. The sushi was about average for a buffet, with the salmon nigiri being the best. The smoked salmon was also very good. The seared tuna tataki was overdone and tasted previously frozen.
The Waffles were really done well. It came with numerous toppings. There was a crepe service, but i didn’t participate. The blueberry muffins were also great and fresh. There was a chocolate fountain... but again I didn’t part.
The service wasn’t particularly good. The silverware had bits of food that were stuck on a spoon. We never had coffee filled without asking. And plates were slow to be cleared.
I think it would have been ok, but the cost per person was $110, which given the quality of food and the average service we received... I don’t believe it was worth it.
I bit on the steep side, but absolutely outstanding!
Food, service, ambiance.. Absolutely perfect for the Easter brunch!
The venue and service were both very nice, but the oatmeal was lukewarm and pretty tasteless.
Will be back.
We went to Cafe Fleuri for my girlfriends birthday. It was our first time here and we didn’t know where to start. We looked at the menu and we both agreed to order the lobster mac and cheese. Our waiter came by and explained how everything worked, at that time we also told our waiter that we would like to order food as well. His response was “it’ll ruin your appetite,” however we thought our order was put in. Guess it wasn’t because we waited almost 45 minutes before we realized that we probably weren’t getting the food we ordered. Also a table that was seated after us got their food before we did. We were also seated next so a large party that was having some type of celebration as well. They also added to our unpleasurable experience. We then waited another 10 minutes after we got our check to pay because our waiter didn’t take it from us, even though he walked by about 10 times serving the large party next to us. And the last thing is, when I booked the reservation I had asked if they could come out with a small cake with a candle or something so my girlfriend could blow out. Also did not happen. Aside from that, the chocolates themselves were great and they had a variety of options. It was cool to see all the different chocolates laid out and they had unique desserts as well as classic ones. However, unless you’re 10 or under, you probably couldn’t eat $45 worth of chocolates. It probably would be nice if you’re in the main room, but if you’re in the back corner there is not scenery.
Birthday Excellent experience! A very special way to celebrate a birthday! She absolutely loved it! Absolutely going to go back again. Happy wife -- happy life!
Chef always makes me my special omelet for lunch and my guests are always satisfied by decor, presentation, service and venue
Excellent brunch. Great selection of small plates. Great shellfish. Pasta station. Super yummy duck with cherries. Enjoyed beets with goat cheese. Good carpaccio. Will try to eat here for brunch whenever I’m in Boston.
The Chocolate Buffet is amazing. It's a must AT LEAST once. Great chocolate foods paired with nice live music in a quiet setting.
Menu is rather basic but eggs, meat, juice And coffee is $25.
Denny’s has more variety. The coffee place across the street is cheaper for pastries.
No issue with the food or service but my business lunch was less expensive than my breakfast.
Sunday is the day to go. The buffet is more than your typical “free” breakfast at a hotel, but it is not free.
The food is ok but nothing fantastic.
I appreciated the fruit choices ( watermelon, blueberries, pineapple and raspberry) and the blintzes are excellent.
Saturday Chocolate Bar. Every year a different theme. This year was chocolate through the ages...,chocolate with pop rocks, Twinkie’s, s’mores, peanut butter cups...if you enjoy chocolate this is a can’t miss event.
Atmosphere was conducive for business lunch. Staff was professional, very nice and not at all overbearing. My guest and I each had the Caesar salad with chicken. Salad was fresh. Dressing was flavorful. Unfortunately the chicken was dry.
It was my wife's birthday and so I wanted to take her to a special place for brunch. We had a great experience. The food was great and varied. My wife was very happy. Would recommend it highly.
