Had a birthday brunch on the last day of Cafe Fleuri's Sunday City Brunch. Did not disappoint. All the stations looked amazing, and all the food was excellent. They will be missed during the future renovation as this is a unique, one-of-a-kind brunch experience in the city. Wish them well during the reno and look forward to what the future Langham will look like and offer. :)
We had a great server who gave us a very thorough rundown of all the stations and it was almost overwhelming - everything she described sounded (and was) delicious. I particularly enjoyed the prime rib with horseradish sauce and the ceviche.
Great selection and comfortable environment. Service or lack thereof, is usually the biggest problem, but you accept this as part of cafe Fleuri. We go about once a month. What we pick is almost always good tasting and well presented. We enjoy our morning brunch time .
The food was delicious! There were so many different options that there was something for every sweet tooth. I appreciated the salty snacks to balance things. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. The live musicians were fabulous too! We look forward to coming back here when they reopen after renovations.
I would recommend Fleuri to anyone. I thoroughly wish that The Chocolate Bar returns when the Langham reopens.
Obviously this will close in about 2 weeks for major renovations. We had been there years ago & decide to go again before the closure. We should have gone more often. It was outstanding. For years we went to the Taj rooftop, which we liked very much, but over the past few years quality slowly declined. The staff there, however was always the best in the business, more so than even than at Café Fleuri. The food at Fleuri was fantastic. Just a huge selection overall. The Donut rack for dessert was over the top & they were very fresh. The jazz group was excellent & really added to the ambience. Overall just fantastic & we wait for the reopening(in about 2 years)
Great buffet brunch with many stations. Unfortunately, they are closing for more than a year for renovations.
It was a lovely brunch. Quite expensive but such a good selection and high quality offerings. Great for a special occasion.
we are going to miss this very upscale special venue
The brunch was AMAZING!!! A bitter sweet the hotel will be closing for a 1.5 year renovation.
I can't wait to plan my next visit. I will mark the days and hope to be given a notification when the hotel is back in action and brunch is back on. I will make a special trip for this celebration!
Over the years we have enjoyed the Chocolate bar at the restaurant! Amazing all around!!
Though I did indicate this was a special occasion/birthday on my online reservation, there was no acknowledgement of it from anybody. The service was hit and miss with coffee being offered frequently, but no follow up on other drinks or needs. We had to hail our server several times to order from the menu.
The music was good but very loud. Too loud to be able to talk to my table companions comfortably. We did overall enjoy the setting and food offered on the buffet and on the menu. Some of the items were better than others.
Though I was happy to experience the chocolate buffet, I won’t be coming back any time soon for it.
The epitome of decadence, this brunch is not to be missed for a special occasion, family get together or maybe you have a friend visiting from out of town. I took my daughter and nephew for their birthdays. I guarantee that you nor your guests will be disappointed and will be thinking about returning on another Sunday before you've even left.
Variety and quality of the food for the Sunday Brunch was outstanding — amazing, actually — ambience was wonderful. Service was very good (but really, it’s a help-yourself brunch, so service is only needed for beverages and to clear extra plates between visits to the buffet). My main hang-up was the price — $75 per person — and it didn’t include even a single alcoholic beverage (such as a mimosa or a Bloody Mary). It included coffee, water and a single glass of OJ or grapefruit juice. A Mimosa cost about $12. The spread was wonderful, but $75 worth? No. Except maybe for a very special occasion. This is the 3rd of 4th time i’ve attended the Sunday Brunch. Quality and variety and atmosphere have been consistent, but price went up by 50% from $50 (splurge but justifiable) to $75 (not comprehensible). Please ... at least include unlimited juice and one alcoholic beverage per person; it won’t cost you much and it will make your patrons feel less victimized.
Best brunch in Boston! Will be sorely missed with renovations. Hope it comes back
Can’t afford to do it very often, but love the Cafe Fleuri Sunday Brunch! We come as a family 1-2 times a year for special occasions, a birthday or typically Valentine’s Day. Food is incredible, ambiance is great (the kids love the live music), and the staff is wonderful!
What a nice experience! too bad they are closing for a yea for renovations.
It is pricey but I like the variety and quality. It is good to try at least once so I would recommend it.
It was a nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The crepes made fresh in front of you was a great touch. Our server, Juan, was very accommodating & helpful. Thanks Juan!
We came for a belated Valentine's treat at the Chocolate bar. I was surprised by how many families with young kids were there. I guess to get them all sugared up so that they crash later and sleep through the night? Anyway, it didn't affect our experience at all. Despite the café being relatively open air, the noise was rather minimal. My biggest complaints are that my boyfriend's place setting was missing a spoon (when we finally flagged someone down he got two, though, so yay?) and that we didn't get our water refilled nearly as often as table's near us, despite needing water every time they came by with it. Still, the food was delicious, the staff was very gracious, and we had a wonderful time.
The almost endless choices were beautiful works of art. My only complaint is that some of the petite fours were a little stale from sitting out too long. Perhaps if our reservation were earlier in the day they would’ve been fresher. I was surprised there was no “hot chocolate”. (Didn’t get to try choc soup) I would appreciate an option for table location when making reservation through website. (Would’ve loved a garden view!) The crepe chef was so friendly and welcoming. The band was a nice touch, but just a bit loud for our conversation across the room. It was a lovely experience overall to do once, but I don’t think it is an expense I would repeat. Thanks!
I attended the chocolate buffet. I enjoyed what I ate especially the crepes and the chocolate fountain. My big complaint is everything is out in the open. Nothing covered or even shielded. That made me a little iffy about eating most of the desserts that were just displayed. With all of the germs and sickness that is out there, the desserts should be somewhat covered.
As always, thank you for a great experience at the Saturday Chocolate bar. From the kindness and attentiveness of the staff to the superior quality of the food, it was just top notch!
Great food selection made even better by exceptional service by our waiter, Carlos. Nice music to add to dining experience.
Highly recommend, food was extraordinary, service was fabulous parking exceeded expectations.
Chocolate buffet was AMAZING! Will definitely go again and plan on trying Sunday brunch also
Seriously wonderful indulgence, our server Richard was just amazing!
The chocolate bar is always worth a visit when in season, but if you’re gluten free beware! There are maybe a handful of desserts you can partake of which is a bit disappointing considering the price. The desserts I was able to consume were absolutely stellar but my choice was very limited.
Always a favorite. BEST BRUNCH in Boston!
Sorry that it’s closing
The cook is getting lax with their attention to detail. The shrimp was not iced--it was piled high on the ice and thus the shrimp were closer to room temperature. Service is pretty much absent. You have to catch the attention of the service staff to receive anything. They are not proactive or attentive. The biggest change has been in the quality of the food served. The bacon is usually overcooked and stuck together and is really at room temperature. I would say that the omelet and the orange juice yesterday were the things that were really good...One expects better from Cafe Fleuri for the price paid
Outstanding all around. Live music, beautiful decor, excellent service, and incredible food. The selection, quality, and creativity of the food is amazing. There are lots of kids around (they even have their own food stations), but the noise level is not bad.
The chocolate and deserts were amazing. My entire family loved it. We wished we had room for more. There were so many good options to choose from. It's very expensive, so I'd say it's definitely for a special celebration.
We had a great time at chocolate brunch, fun for a special occasion
We had a wonderful experience at the chocolate buffet. Would highly recommend!
Food was very pretty but too much chocolate If you are NOT a committed chocoholic there is nothing for you to eat AT ALL. For what they charge they should at least include a mimosa or bloody mary for each adult.
An unbelievable experience. Our guests, who had never been before, were overwhelmed and kept trying to figure out how to describe the buffet to others. There is nothing more to be desired. Everything was perfect.
Fabulous Sunday brunch. Best selection I've ever seen.
Best. Brunch. Ever.
This is the third time that our family has had brunch at Cafe Fleuri. We just love it! The donut wall. The seafood bar. The made-to-order omelette and crepes. SO many delicious choices. The presentation and the staff are superb. Yes, we are planning our next brunch at Cafe Fleuri!
We have been to Cafe Fleuri for the City Brunch many times. This time the service was a bit off. Also, the restaurant may be closing for extensive renovations so check first before you plan to dine here.
