About this restaurant

  • Charming
  • Great for brunch
  • Great for outdoor dining
Located in the heart of Washington, D.C. within the iconic Willard InterContinental, steps from the National Mall, and across from Pershing Park, a national park home to the new World War I Memorial, Café du Parc is reminiscent of a Parisian-inspired sidewalk café.

Nestled between The White House and the U.S. Capitol, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the nation’s capital, Café du Parc’s seasonal outside terrace remains a trendy locale for al fresco dining by both visitors and Washington, D.C. locals alike.

Paying homage to traditional French cooking, the restaurant offers diners various culinary creations from coffee and pastries at its coffee shop, Le Café, to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch on Sunday on its outside terrace or inside the main dining room. We are pleased to offer parking validation for Valet or Garage parking at Willard InterContinenatal when you join us for dinner.

Highly recommend the Bone in Ribeye for 2. Comes with soup, salad, 40oz steak, 2 sides and steak sauces. Choice for summer soup is Watermelon Gazpacho; which was excellent!

Lots of potential…. Everything was a little lacking or just subpar of expectations for a true French brasserie at this price point. Service was enthusiastic but spotty in attentiveness and awareness. Mixed vegetable side was brought out with the escargot appetizer — instead of with the main as normal. Escargot tasted like it was frozen or canned instead of fresh….. There’s a reason for their table availability.

There is not a lot of atmosphere at this French bistro, but the food was outstanding. You think of Boeuf Bourguignon as a stew, but this was so tender and tasty, it changed my mind. Similarly, Filet Mignon is often just good meat with little flavor. Not so this filet--tender, tasty, and cooked just as I requested it. Great meal in a corner of the Willard Hotel. Wines are listed on the menu. But they have another great wine list if you ask for it. However, it seems like they have to go a long way to search for the wines on that list. It took quite a while to get our wine bottle.

This is a wonderful hotel and restaurant. It’s my go to when I’m in DC. Unfortunately I found a hair in my food, but my waitress handled it perfectly. She apologized and got me a new sandwich. My friends all loved their meals and raved not only about the food but about her. She went to great lengths for me. And ended up comping my sandwich.

We have eaten here many times. Whether it's a busy holiday weekend, as is the case now, or a slower day, the staff is always positive and the food is consistently good.

Overall, great experience. The service was tops. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Personally, I had the lamb loin entree. It was very good but I was disappointed in the portion size for the price. Only two small pieces of lamb meat and two small links of sausage along with the accompanying sides. Everyone else's entree portions seemed generous. We would definitely go back, but I would order something different.

Our Hostess (the lovely lady at the front who sat us to our table) made our breakfast just divine. She welcomed us in and sat us down so kindly. Some rude customers came in before us and were not kind to her at all. You know what she did? She handled it with class and respect. So this place gets a 10/10, not just for the food - but for the great customer service she gave. We will be back again soon. Also - the lattes here are amazing!!
