Have always enjoyed this restaurant. However, was disappointed in the (Friday Special) bouillabaisse value for portion size. 3 small bites of fish, 3 small fingerling potatoes, 5 mussels , 2 pcs. roasted onion artfully spread au jus in a roomy plate for $34. While tasty will order something else next time.

The dish of the month's rabbit was deliciously cooked. However way too much use of cream just made things a little bit more stoggy. Everything else was fabulous.

Our server bartender was attentive, friendly, lovely, and made our visit. Just warm and fuzzy. The place has a somewhat cold vibe when you walk in, but the staff is different from the rest. Enjoy an early dinner at Cafe De La Presse.

I ordered the Coq Au Vin and it was very good. I put in the notes of my reservation that I wanted window seating, but the person who seated me was not aware of my request and the downstairs window tables were taken. The restaurant should note specific requests from their guests and accommodate them when possible.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday, was expecting "brunch". Be aware that brunch menu doesn't start until 11....breakfast menu pretty much confined exclusively to eggs....

The service was erratic, notably with an apparent change of shift and very long wait to be asked if we'd like to consider desert. The lack of tablecloths for lunch service in the main dining room reveals very battered tables. The food was excellent, but the lunch prices were about 15 percent higher than I would expect to pay given the overall quality of the lunch experience. I'll definitely go back for dinner, but I'll consider other French restaurants for lunch.

I did not like where the greeter sat us. I had reservations, there were many open tables and it was after lunch. Another waiter saw my disappointment and asked if I wanted to move. I said yes.

Open Table and the restaurant took a reservation for 6 PM and when we arrived at 6:05 they were already closing because they "closed" on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 6:30. I did not notice that on the restaurant website but we should not have been able to make the reservation for 6 PM if the restaurant closed that early. Fortunately we noticed Le Central just down the street and had a great experience albeit at a significantly higher cost.

I have health issues and needed a dish that wouldn't upset my digestion and I found it in the Penne Pasta dish. it was so delicious and creamy. I was so happy with my experience at Cafe de la Presse

I was greeted by the server by my first name, she was warm, welcoming, and very sincere. In short the perfect host! She set up the entire experience perfectly. No, she and I aren’t friends, and I don’t even know her name. Coq au vin in the summer? Yes, please! It was good. It had flavor, just the right amount of serving, but I was looking for depth in the flavor. I have been coming back to Cafe de la Presse, but I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Cafe de la Presse. We had two different duck dishes and thoroughly enjoyed them. The ambiance is wonderful. Very Parisian. The place was almost empty and we had quick and attentive service.

Great place, perfect for brunch, lunch, or drinks after work. Lovely ambience - be transported to Paris while you sip a Louis Latour chardonnay and have a frisee lardon salad.

We had an excellent brunch on Father's Day at Cafe de la Presse. I had Eggs Benedict and my wife had Eggs Meurette. Both were excellent. We also had some bellinis as drinks. Service was very good as well.

Two of us went for lunch, had the salad nicoise, it was only ok, was bland. Ordered dessert and capuchinos, the dessert never arrived. Waiter explained kitchen got confused, overwhelmed, or something like that. (This was not a busy time, after 1:00 in afternoon.) Waiter was actually very nice, but he never checked back about anything, had to flag him down to order dessert, had to flag him down when dessert never came.

The French onion soup was great! It was very well seasoned a great experience to start dinner. We had a salad that we split but when they brought it out they had split it for us. The portions were really good! My friend had the duck confit and I had the Salmon with beur Blanc both were exquisite!

Love Cafe de la Presse. I would absolutely recommend it - one note - they do not have pastries in the afternoon after 2. I was hoping for coffee and a pastry but no such luck.
