Cafe D'Antonio - Celebration
Antonios! Great taste is just the beginning!! Antonio’s has a superior selection of fresh foods, wines and liquors many of which you won’t find in the big retail stores. We stock from around the world with emphasis on Italian and US west coast selections.View Private Dining Details
Feels dated and dirty. Food was good. But carpets and toilets dirty and needing replaced
Felt stuffy and high end when we walked in. Went to order drinks but a limited beer and wine selection. Waiter dropped my beer off the tray when he came back. Appetizers were brought quickly but calamari was very thick and kids would not eat it. Decent dinner options but vegetables were not included as a side for my beef short ribs. Food was good but average portion size. For an almost $200 dinner bill for 5 people I will probably not eat there again.
The food and the service were both perfect but I couldn’t sit at the bar because kids were sitting at it. So I can’t give it a totally positive review
Have been to this restaurant many times. I did the feel the waitress was not all very friendly or attentive. It was a very busy night and the service was slow. Our waitress could have been more apologetic, had to ask for our bread extra drinks etc. Disappointing as I was raving to my brother in law what a wonderful place it was. Food was very good though.
We go here once every year for Celebration’s Now Snowing Nightly event. It was only so-so last year, but we figured it was just a fluke. Sadly, that was not the case. My husband ordered the $40 special NY strip steak that was mediocre and I ordered the $22 lobster ravioli which had only 6 ravioli and wasn’t very good. The ambiance is always nice, but the service was lacking.
Each time we visit friends in Florida, we dine at D’Antonio’s the night before we leave. It is now a tradition. Usually I have to have chicken Marsala or risotto. But on the recommendation of our friend I decided to try pizza this time. It was an easy decision: the pizza with fig and other wonderful things!! I was not disappointed. It was marvelous. Our only disappointment with this trip and also our last was the absence of the wonderful sugar scrub in the ladies room. It has the most scrumptious scent. It’s still for sale in the restaurant, but not out for use in the ladies room. What a disappointment!
As always they never disappoint. Was great the antipasti was fabulous they change it up a bit and it was so good with marinated mushrooms, portobello mushroom, artichoke, blue cheese, two meats just outstanding. Main course excellent as well. Just and overall great place to have a few drinks and get a great meal.
The area in Celebration is beautiful and the restaurant fits right into the town. Inside the restaurant the ambiance is Italian and nice for a dinner. The service was very nice and the staff was friendly and attentive coming by often to check on us and the service was great. The pasta was good and the bread was very yummy with the traditional olive oil to go with it. The wine options were nice and overall the meal was great and we will return in the future to try the other options on the menu such as the fish and steak.
Took us in at the appointed time, service was good, no rush to order.
We’ve been several times, one of our local “go to” places when friends and family visit. However, I would have to say this was our worst experience at D’Antonio’s. The bathroom cleanliness was definitely below par, the service was extremely slow, and we just did not get the customer service we’re used to. We will go again, but if things don’t turn around it will no longer be on our favorites list.
We were celebrating my birthday and my wife's birthday. It also coincided with the lighting of the Christmas tree in Celebration. We were able to get a table outside. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing, and it was very reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back!! Kid-friendly too.
Sat in the back room near waiter station, cutlery was being put in napkins at the table next to us. Has to keep cutlery after starter and clean them on a napkin. Ordered pizza and it came on a cardboard plate. Paid full bill of $140 and spoke to desk on way out about the issues, got no reply just nothing at all. Do not want anything free just tried to explain but ignored totally. Will not return ever if they cannot be bothered taking time to discuss with me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY OR EFFORT
Very good retaurant, excellent food, great service. A bit pricy but worth it
4 of us ate and we all had something different and it was all good. It wasvtotally full indoor and out. Great meal for a get together.
In the beginning the server was in a bit of a rush to take our order. Then the food took a little while which was good because we wanted to visit. Then after we ate the server never came back to fill waters or see if we wanted another drink . She could have been more in tune and attentive
Recommended by a local and it was just lovely. Exceptional service and the lamb shank was the best! Great location with a wonderful view of the locals. Will visit again.
We had a very nice meal at the restaurant It’s in a convenient location and the food is excellent. Our waiter and the rest of the stuff we’re also very good. It is definitely worth going to. My husband had the clams and linguini and loves it. I have twice had the lobster ravioli and it was delicious as well. It’s very reasonably priced restaurant in a cute town.
Fabulous! Have been here numerous times and it never disappoints. One of my favorites in the Orlando area.
We visited this restaurant as a group of 5. Ordered drinks and appetizers at the same time. After 15 minutes, we asked about our drinks. At the 20 minute mark, we were asked for our dinner order because appetizers were ready to be served. Again we asked about drinks. After 30 minutes, appetizers arrived but we still had no drinks. We sent appetizers back and asked for drinks again. 10 more minutes, drinks arrived but not complete order. Waitress seemed confused, possibly new to the position. Finally got drinks and appetizers were immediately presented. We tried to hurry with appetizers knowing entrees would be out shortly. The food was good all the way around. Many, many wait staff on duty. Waitress was friendly but clueless- thus our feeling that she must be new. Management should have experienced staff work with new staff to train. Revenue was lost on one of the most profitable segments of dinner - the drinks. Normally, we would have had pre dinner, dinner and after dinner drinks. Instead, we had one round, dinner and then went to the Celebration Town Tavern for drinks. It wasn't worth the wait here. Side note, we were not monopolizing a table. Reservations were for 6:45, we left at 9:00 and the establishment had several open tables the entire time.
Was there a few years ago and not the same. Starting to look worn out, restroom needed cleaning (bad odors, toilet brush laying on floor). Restaurant was less than 1/2 full and it took almost 1 hour to get entrees (no appetizers) and quality was mediocre. Had dinner with 2 other culinary school inspectors and all were disappointed. Too bad, used to be better.
Took my wife out for a nice dinner while in Orlando. Food, service and setting was just what we needed after spending some time at Disney World.
Lovely restaurant and great food. We enjoyed the meal-I would only caution you to remember that homemade pasta takes some time, don’t be in a huge hurry.
Good setting, comfortable seating, solid wine list. On the other hand all of the pasta was badly over cooked, the carpaccio appetizer at $12 was minuscule, and despite being on time for our reservation we waited 20 minutes for our table. One entre was tepid.
Great not to be rushed, excellent food in pleasant surroundings
Very nice meal. Two appetizers and grilled pizza. Patio was great for people watching.
We visited Cafe d’Antonio on Halloween. We had a 7:15 reservation, and no idea that there was a huge festival in Celebration. I called at 7:20 to say we were delayed by traffic. Mike, the manager said “No worries, I’ve got you covered.” We did not get there until 8:30, feeling starving and defeated, certain that with the huge crowd we would not get seated and/or that due to the overwhelming business they were doing the food would be unremarkable. Boy, were we wrong!
Mike took care of us and had us seated within 10 minutes. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. I asked for some substitutions and additions in my dish, and it was served perfectly. The sourdough bread and flavored oil were fresh and yummy. We were so full we did not get to try dessert. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked great! Enjoy!
Lovely always a super meal... we always go when in the area
Great food and service. A little pricey, but has food you cannot get anywhere else.
Been here multiple times, but was a bit disappointed this past Saturday. We had a reservation for over a week yet they sat us (a party of 5) in a table for 4. It was a constant rearranging to make space for plates. Our waiter and food were great but the kitchen was beyond slow. Don’t know how many times the waiter came over to apologize but it wasn’t his fault. Hopefully it was an anomaly.
Have eaten here many times, but the service was very slow. It was busy but we’ve been their during busy times before and never had to wait like we did this night. The food was excellent as always the Lobster Ravioli was fabulous as always. We will be going back.
Excellent choice. Food was fresh and fabulous. Service was perfect. Drinks and wine were a perfect addition to our meal. Definitely a place I will go again the next time I’m in Orlando.
Been going to Antonio’s Celebration for nearly 20 years and this was the worst experience. Appetisers arrived separately and one was cold. No silverware or napkins until we asked and service was patchy. Main courses were okay, just not as good as normal. Spoke to the manager and understand there have been problems which they are addressing, but not sure we will go back. Ladies restrooms were grubby.
It was good
They do not know how to make gnocchi any more. Twice it was terrible. Never again
We’ve came to this restaurant 14 years ago and have made regular visits back. After a 5 year break we returned and were highly disappointed!
The place was empty, despite every other restaurant around being busy, the service was neither here nor there ... we ordered 2 pizzas that were undercooked and bizarrely served on a cardboard/polyestyrene board like a take out! Restrooms were a mess ...
Very sad to see
Fabulous dinner and Louis was the consummate professional server,
Lucky for us our favorite server, I was so happy server Debbie was working tonight because the last two times our service was less than stellar. She's always so friendly and efficient. They really need to get a more consistent better trained staff here.
Food was good as usual, great mushroom risotto and eggplant dinner, although I do miss the sausage risotto! I really wish I hated the bread here but it's always amazing.
The bathroom was a real mess, no toilet paper, instead napkins were placed in the stall. There really isn't any excuse for that.
Great restaurant but it has lost two of its best staff on front desk and so has lost its way on service. Very very slow server and in fact we had to get someone else - not good. Food fine though but prices seem to have risen.
Had a great dinner there with friends. First time there for our friends but we are a frequent patron. Always consistent food and great service!
I really like going here. The food is consistently good. It's convenient for us as well. Service is hit or miss but the biggest issue is the front desk. They are not very welcoming. Having been in the restaurant business before, rule of thumb is the person at the front door...hostess/manager should be welcoming when you arrive and when you leave. Maybe this is why it's been so empty on weekends. The menu could use some updating too.
