A great spot to enjoy the entrance to the Temecula Wine Valley. Great views, great food , wine and champagne. Stefanie provided outstanding service to make this day a memorable one!
The service was great and our food was fabulous. The only issue was with our dessert. We ordered the lava cake and it did not have any chocolate filling in the center. We would recommend this restaurant and will come again!
We really enjoyed the dinner, however there was a large group being served while we were there. We had a bit of a wait for our dinner, and the group was pretty loud.
Service was great. Lobster ravioli and scallops was great. Cioppino was non-traditional seasonings with lots of seafood.
Service was very slow. Could never find our server. Food came to table cold. Very pricey for quality of food. Do not plan to return
Birthday weekend getaway
Its been a long time since visiting this restaurant. I am glad I chose to return to celebrate my mothers birthday. Service was terrific and the Sunday brunch menu was extensive...many varied options. Will definitely return
Always a wonderful experience. The menu is diverse and the food, excellent (highly recommend the lobster ravioli and the seafood cioppino). Service is always fantastic.
We have been to Cafe Champagne several times and have never been disappointed. The brie en croute is to die for and the rest of the food is very tasty. Their champagne is awesome and their staff is friendly and knowledgable.
Saturday night 7pm reservation. Service was painfully slow, food was Workman like but overpriced. They call themselves a fine dining, they don’t have the right employees or trained chefs to be a fine dining
No cocktails or beer available, you have to order their Thornton Brand wine. Problem with that is Thornton thinks they can make 40 different wines, they are poor quality and such. And they charge a huge premium price for these crappy wines.
Stay a way
One of our favorite restaurants. They almost never disappoint us.
Everything was great except I had noted, cause you asked, that it was for my mom's (73rd) birthday when I made the reservation. It would have been nice if they knew that and brought her a dessert or something.
Second time it took more than 90 minutes to get our food.
Always a great time! Champagne flight and cheese board are excellent. Outstanding service.
We were very disappointment with the birthday dinner we had Tuesday night. Food was overpriced and the selection minimal. Hardly anyone in the restaurant. Brut was good and so was wait staff. We have been there for lunch many times over the years and really enjoyed. Caesar salad had no flavoring at all. We don't plan to return. Too many other places to enjoy.
It was worth the drive for a late lunch.
The food was excellent, we had the special of the day, lamb chops over a fresh salad and an very good mint dressing.
Being a winery, we had some wine tasting, excellent recommendations from our server.
The deserts were excellent especially the tiramisu.
Highly recommend this place especially for outdoor sitting with beautiful surroundings.
They bring in good live music in the weekend.
Great food, but we keep coming back for the great service and location. We had disabled in our party and there were no problems with seating. None of us are drink alcohol and this still is one of our favorite places to have a family gathering with members who are coming from several different counties.
We were handed menus and told to take any table. We ordered waited 30 minutes before asking for our salads. A different server brought them with bread that we paid extra for. Bread and water refills were offered after we requested the check.
End of the Year Dinner for six was excellent complemented by Pineapple Champagne!
Great service and ambiance. Café continues to be one of our favorites in the Temecula Valley.
Great service & food
The food is yummy but overpriced. The best part was the champagne flights.
Had a nice lunch at Thornton Winery....was a beautiful day and was able to sit outside......service was a little slow due to the unexpected crowd that day. Food was great.....Mac and Cheese....a Salad and a Poblano topped bacon cheeseburger hit the spot. The champagne flights were great as well.
We went to celebrate a birthday Christmas Eve. We were sat in the covered patio area and it was freezing!! The food was not impressive whatsoever! Pasta was watery, Cesar salad had tortilla chips omit and the bread is $5.00 a loaf for the table. The prices are extremely expensive and they include the tip for you. Wanted to enjoy the evening but was sadly disappointed.
We were very pleased that we could reserve a table for Christmas Eve on Open Table.
The waiter was very attentive to our needs. The filet mignon was outstanding. Great and great service.
Unfortunately the poorest value of any of the TV winery restaurants.
Out meal was poorly prepared; filet was worst I've ever had.
Wait staff did their best.
Lighting too bright.
Door to patio constantly open and close which led to constantly getting a cool blast of air every 5 minutes.
Nice atmosphere - fantastic service - yummy food & drink! Would especially recommend the Brie appetizer!
Service is great, the staff is very friendly and cheery which is always nice, especially during the holiday!ms! But the food is absolutely inedible at exorbitant prices and the facility is in need of serious repair and updating. Even though the girls were nice, I will never go back.
Great food and great waitress.
Good choices on the menu including the best wine.
Had our girls night away dinner there... and it was GREAT! Soooooo yummy and Sammy was a great server!
We have been there several times and whether it's a special occasion or a casual night out , cafe champagne never disappoints . Great food and even better service
We were here Friday night and enjoyed it so much we came back Saturday night for dinner. We enjoyed the meat & cheese board which was huge and delicious.
Conor - our waiter - made some great suggestions on the wine and everything was to our enjoyment. He suggested the crispy artichoke hearts and I'm glad he did. Fantastic!!
Enjoyed the food and fantastic service from a knowledgeable waiter. Staff knows their wine and made good food suggestions.
Definitely will be back!
Normally, the venue is excellent all around. Unfortunately, we had the worst server in the place. Unfriendly, food was served cold and it partially ruined the experience for us. Live music was great. I will request another server next time.
Hands down the best restaurant in the Valley.
Fantastic winery with great food, ambiance, wine and champagne. Would highly recommend!
Restaurant called as I was driving to meet friend there and informed me that their kitchen would stop taking orders at 1:10 p.m. Not sure why they allowed someone to make a 1:00 reservation if that was the case (they could have called one or two days before to let me know and see if I wanted to move the time of my reservation. Incredibly disappointed - won't go back!
This is the best place in Temecula Wine Country for lunch. The food and service are really great. The atmosphere could be taken up a notch though.
Although the blackened seasoning made the swordfish inedible, everything else was great. Get the Lobster ravioli with scallops. The Calamari was excellent. It's a little pricey but your paying for eating at a winery in Temecula. It's expected. We are outdoors as the dining room indoors was empty and had a cold echo feeling. Not very warm or inviting. At least outside you had the view and a warm breeze!
Stopped by for an early dinner last Sunday. We enjoyed the champagne flight and the brie cheese. I also ordered the Cesar salad. It was just OK. It came with store bought tortilla strips, not what I expected on a $14 salad. I also ordered the Chicken saltimbocca. The chicken was on the dry side, it had ham but not cheese. It was topped with a tomato sauce and served with zucchini. This dish was a healthy version on your typical Italian Saltimbocca. Our table shared the butterscotch pudding, that was delicious. I also enjoyed our champagne flight. The bill came out to almost $300 for 4, which I felt was a bit high for the quality of food.
Have enjoy coming for years and the wine and food has been excellent but this last time the food was not great and the server was poor. The eggs were hard and the potatoes were cold.
