Café Campagne has been charming visitors and locals since 1994. The menu highlights the classics--Steak Frites, Oeufs en Meurette, Duck Confit, Salade Nicoise, Cassoulet--pairing perfectly with our wine list of a wide variety of French selections alongside local superstars.
Stop by for brunch on Saturday & Sundays, a night out under the iconic Pike Place Market sign, or a small bite for happy hour on our patio. A Parisian café tucked into Pike Place Market’s Post Alley, not to be missed!
Always great! We keep coming back to Cafe Campagne and with the unfortunate virus crisis it was wide open. We'll do take out to help support if they close for the quarantine.
Wonderful brunch! Food is consistently delicious and the staff are always on point. A favorite restaurant in Seattle.
We enjoyed a marvelous lunch at the counter, with great service by Kalen!
The duck comfit was perfect, crispy skin and moist inside, my husband had the cassoulet and brought part of it home for a second great meal. The service was attentive and they had good suggestions. We are planning to return soon.
It's hard to get decent French Bistro food in the Puget Sound. Fortunately; Cafe Campagne EXISTS IN SEATTLE! Well cooked; 90% authentic; and the service is impeccable... GO! You won't regret it.
We went for Quiche but they were out of all Quiche and all bakery goods. Had cassoulet
that was good--as always. The service was mediocre. I have had better service there before. This was an off experience. This is normally one of my favorite restaurants around the Market.
Brunch is always fantastic! Service would be 5 stars, if the front desk would be more proactive greeting guests as they come in.
Good service and steak tartar. Tables near the door are drafty.
Food was very good.
Comfortable space.
Paul, our waitperson, very personable/professional.
Will be back!
Brunch transport to Paris. We enjoyed the atmosphere, waiter, food and drink. The custom coffee blend is rich and satisfying.
Our French onion soup appetizer was forgotten and brought after dinner was served. This was my only complaint. The food was delicious as always!
Wonderful duck confit and cabbage salad!
We found this little gem the last trip we took to Seattle back in 2018. We went back on this trip out and were not disappointed. The food was amazing, the ambiance was so quaint, and the service incredible. We will be back again the next time we find ourselves in Seattle WA. Thank you !
A brilliant combination of poor service and barely inedible food drags the once hallowed Campagne restaurant deeper into the dustbin of 1980's and '90's Seattle culinary history. We ordered three lunch entrees and a side for three people. The server got 3 of the 4 orders wrong, but did so quite slowly to heighten the frustration. Service continued at a languid, incompetent pace from beginning to end, although our obviously inexperienced wait person was kind enough and smiled, and the ambience in the middle of the Market is nice, so if you had an americano and croissant and didn't have any place better to be and weren't in a rush it would be lovely. My Dungeness crab quiche had a custard-like creaminess, but was very light on so-called crab meat. My wife's soup of the day -- dumplings in soup -- involved a couple of flavorless doughy balls and some green tinted water for broth. She barely ate it and regretted she did not send it back. Ditto for our friend. Another highlight was the fresh french bread and butter. Alas, we have moved on and shall not visit this establishment again, and but for the unwitting tourists, I assume it will wither and die and a better use will be found for a lovely little corner restaurant in an ideal location on Post Alley.
Cafe Campagne has been my very favorite lunch/breakfast (and sometimes dinner) spot in Seattle for more than 2 decades. I can't even count the number of times I've been here for birthdays and meetings and visits with out-of-towners, and just-because lunches - and all the friends and family and professional colleagues I've had join me. I've never had an experience that wasn't fabulous - until yesterday. It wasn't horrible by any means, but since Open Table asked... our service wasn't up to par. Of all the amazing restaurants in Seattle, I suggested CC for lunch with my LA agent for her first visit to Seattle. I had requested my favorite table in the reservation and sure enough, we were seated there (thank you!). But, when the young man who was our server looked at me and said, "And the gentleman will have?" - and I am very much female, there's seriously no question - things got weird. He caught himself right away and was super embarrassed, apologizing for the mistake - I guess he was just on autopilot? Then when I asked for the wine-by-the-glass menu a bit later while I picked out a wine, I didn't see him for a good 20 minutes (someone else brought our lunch). When I did see him, I had to wave him down to finally order that glass of wine and hand him back the menu. He'd forgotten. Then, we were left for quite some time after we'd finished our meals, plates still on the table, and my agent had to leave to catch a flight. Since she was paying, she caught our server's attention by showing him her credit card and it seems, sadly, this offended all the staff for some reason. We received no "thank you", no "enjoy your day" as we left - just tight-lipped faces and eyes averted when they came to pick up our plates and deliver the receipt, etc. Honestly, I was kind of shocked. And embarrassed. I've never had that kind of treatment here in more than 20 years! I will try not to let it tarnish my love for CC, but I thought you should know.
Fabulous service with great menu recommendations.
Always delicious.
The table next to us was so loud that we couldn't have a conversation! Our intention to order mussels and pomme frites (shown on online menu) was thwarted by a change of menu due to Valentine's weekend. Sadly disappointed by a very special place.
The Cassoulet is to die for. You must order it if it’s available!
Fantastic. Wonderful food, service beyond the call, warm and friendly decor.
The food is absolutely superb! Service is great! The food is amazing! Coco was our server and she was a delight! Will going every time we are in Seattle!
The food was mostly delicious (one appetizer was not up to expectations, salads and mains were great), service was surprisingly good for a busy Valentine's Day. We will go back for brunch soon.
Cafe Campagne has THE best, most authentic cassoulet in town. Multiple meats cooked with beans and served in a crock with excellent seasonings. Also the French Onion soup was loaded with onions topped with gooey cheese on bread. Very very good!! Service was excellent as well. Our favorite French place! Still miss the upstairs Campagne restaurant.
We had one of the best meals in memory, enhanced by attentive and very professional service, the spacious, cozy back room, and Campagne's lively location in the Pike Place Market. Surprisingly, it was less expensive than I would have estimated given the quality of every dish.
Great food and great service. Always and consistently
Good choice for lunch. The quiche, duck confit, salad, red pepper soup were all good. Right to the Pike Market so very convenient spot for a break for lunch from the shopping.
Our waitress was a bit glum and it was hard to catch her attention for more coffee
Excellent all around. Very reliable. Thank you.
Cafe Campagne is one of my favorite spots for "ladies who lunch," something I do not get to do often. I can count on excellent lunch-sized choices, a lovely glass of wine, and frequently, a tempting dessert. Their Pavlovas in summer are not to be missed, and are easily shared. Service is attentive and ambience is very Paris bistro.
Very friendly staff and the cafe is charming. The food was not only beautifully served, and was scrumptious! Can’t wait to go back!
Such a wonderful atmosphere. an oasis in the city. Great food each and every time.
We met for a very late brunch at 2:45 pm on Sunday. This was a perfect time, as the cafe had only a few other customers, the wait staff was patient and very helpful, and the noise level was very manageable for a senior with some hearing difficulty. The food was very good, though nothing that makes it special. I would usually expect a vinaigrette with my Salade Nicoise, but had no dressing whatsoever. Overall, it's a great place to meet and catch up. We didn't have to hurry for waiting customers.
The place is very pleasant, the waitress paid attention to us during all the time. Great food, wonderful wines. Fair price for the pleasant evening. Seems like those restaurants that always make your evening wonderful. It is already in my fave list.
Best French bistro in Seattlr!
Our first visit but will certainly be back. Of special note, our waiter was so helpful and attentive of our party. We have been visiting numerous small, intimate eateries for the last couple of years and Cafe Campagne has made our small shortlist. Terrific.
Waiter recommend some items and everything we had was great down to the fries!! Very cute and in a decent area of Pike’s Place
Soooo good. Amazing service! I will be going back especially for a girls brunch
Loved the ambiance, the mussels were fabulous and service impeccable!
Cafe Campagne is one of Seattle’s best restaurants for many years. I have eaten there once or twice a year over the last 25 years, and my recent experience lived up to my high expectations.
The food is as delicious as you would expect from and excellent French restaurant. The servers are knowledgeable, friendly, prompt and unobtrusive. The atmosphere is French provincial. The location in the Pike Market is ideal.
We went there for our anniversary. Food was delicious and the service was amazing. We both had the prefix dinner. They no longer have the half off wine with the prefix as shown on Yelp but the wine and food was great. We shared the escaegots, I had the terrine de jambon persille and the moules marinieres. He has the market salad and the chicken and chanterelles sausage.
