I asked for no dressing on my salad it it came with dressing. The waiter took it back and brought it back to the table still dressed
Service was attentive. My black cod was beautifully prepared but a little fishy.
Cafe was fabulous and the hostess was terrific. The only issue was with the valet parking. 3 members of our party didn't receive a text confirming their vehicle and it was a lengthy mess getting it sorted out.
It's one of my favorites. It just does everything to perfection. Fantastic selection for lunch. The warm bread roll with perfect crust - geez, we wanted to cancel our order and just get 5 loads of it. It's that good. Service is impeccable. The waiter saw my napkin slip to the floor. He picked it up and brought me a fresh one. This is true service. I did not have time for dessert but the menu looked very interesting.
Great time having brunch. The service was impeccable. Loved the food. Cocktails were fab. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you!
Beautiful setting, great food and great service.
WAs excellent experience !!! (despite extremely loud guests)
A MUST GO!!! I love here so much.
Excellent food. As we booked at last minute, the table was next to serving station. The tables were well spaced out. Overall we enjoyed.
Thank you dinner
Friendly, efficient and unobtrusive service. Great food selection, ordered food arrived well presented and was simply superb.
I went to Cafe Boulud based on some rave reviews however, I found everything starting from the restaurant decor and ambience to food and food plating to be quiet dated and mediocre. The food was pretty boring in taste and plating. My husband and I both felt like the restaurant is stuck in the 90's and needs a good upgrade. We even compared it to the hotel featured in the movie "The Shining".
We have a been to a good number of fine dining restaurants and this restaurant is far from it!
Food was phenomenal. The weekend brunch is great and has awesome food choices to suit different palates. Service was attentive and efficient.
Food and service were outstaning. I will be back.
I called in advance regarding parking and getting a birthday dessert for a friend. Couldn’t reach the restaurant all day so spoke to operator. When we got there valet was full and we couldn’t find parking and they never brought the dessert.
Food was good and ambiance was beautiful. Overall nice restaurant but for the prices I would have expected more.
Went with my mom and sister for lunch and we had a pleasant time. Except there were some issues we had with our server. It felt like the service we got was different compared to the other tables he was serving. It took him a long time to take our orders and when I asked him something about the menu, it seemed like he was bored and I was asking stupid questions. He was attentive with the other tables. We also didn’t get complimentary bread for the table. I saw him provide one for the others and I had to approach him and ask for our bread. He told me that we actually have to “Request” for the bread. He didn’t tell us that we have to request for it in the first place and it seems like he just made an excuse. We felt discriminated. The attention he gave us was not satisfactory.
Every time I have dined at Cafe Boulud I have left extremely satisfied, mellow and wondering when I will be back. The whole experience is a lovely blend of professional dining and Mom’s table. The food treats the palate to delicious moments. The staff welcoming, helpful and discreet. Thanks to all for your care and service.
Excellent as always. Lovely service and delicious food. Expensive but worth it for the quality and professionalism.
Wonderful as always! Such a great experience for a business breakfast or catch up with a dear friend!
It's also the people! From Zack who welcomed us on arrival and took care of the car, to Lauren who greeted us at Cafe Boulud, remembering our table preference, to Anil, one of the originals, who provided impeccable table service... bravo all!
The Kuri squash soup was velvety delicious, the rotisserie chicken salad a brilliant offering and of course... the madeleines and lattes capped off a beautiful, long lunch!
Thanks Four Seasons Yorkville! 10/10
Out trout was too rare and the staff were very kind to replace it.
Perfection. High Level Professional Servers. Fantastic food. Beautiful room. Felt like a New York City dining experience.
The food and service were outstanding which included the much appreciated free cocktails when we were seated 40 minutes late. But we found the music too intrusive and for that reason would likely not return.
The consistency of Cafe Boulud is outstanding, food , service always outstanding.
Special thanks to Jules her in depth knowledge of wine and her communication skills really made the night special!
I’ve been to Cafe Boulud a couple time and it’s consistently fantastic every-time. The food is fresh and scrumptious.
My group of three friends had a wonderful evening at Café Boulud. Service was helpful, attentive and pleasant, without being overbearing in any way, lots of time to enjoy our drinks and dinner. It was a very busy evening, but in no way felt rushed, it was terrific. Vibe was energetic but not so noisy what we couldn't enjoy our chat over glasses of wine while we waited for our dishes. Loved our food, appetizers and mains. Everything was beautifully prepared and presented. My friend and I ordered the pasta. It was prepared using simple ingredients, but the end result was decadent - cooked perfectly al dente, I savoured every bite. I can't wait to dine here again on my next trip to Toronto. If you're going on a short trip, this is worth spending one of your evenings!
The CFE BOULUD IS SET IN A DELIGHTFUL SECOND FLOOR LOCATION, WITH GREAT LIGHT, AND COMFORTABLE SEATING OPTIONS. THE FOOD WAS UNIFORMLY GOOD.
Oysters is so so , but the steak is ok , and service is good , maybe go yo dinner next time !
It was so good to see vibrancy back at Cafe Boulud! Lunch was fabulous, as usual. The autumn salad was delicious with its root vegetables and apple cider dressing, steak & frites done to perfection, and the steelhead trout delicate with a lightly crisp skin.
Warm, pillowy madeleines capped off the beautiful meal served with aplomb by Alan, and highlighted by a welcoming table visit by Tricia, the lovely new manager!
See you again soon...
Thank you for a lovely experience once again! Service, ambience and quality of food is excellent!
In my opinion, Cafe Boulud is the best hotel for brunch in Toronto.
Serve is spot on and CP is a fantastic server. Personable, professional, attentive and kind. He made our brunch experience so nice. All our brunch selections were first rate.
Chicken & Waffles, eggs benny, steak and eggs, fresh OJ and the freshest, hottest coffee ever.
It's been way too long since coming back to the Four Seasons Yorkville, but we're sure to return very soon!
It was very hard to make the reservation so expectation was high. Food in general was good but not spectacular. Oysters were fresh but very small, even for East coast standard. Good value considering the 3 course for brunch. Great service - our server was really attentive and friendly, but took a long….time for our main course to come. Seating felt almost ‘casual’ and very ‘tight’ for a 6 stars hotel.
Obviously, dinner menu is suppose to be better. Perhaps next time when reservation is available.
A lovely environment. But the service was excellent. All around. From arrival to departure.
Service was horrible.
Fine food in nice surroundings. But expensive. Even the reduced rate for valet parking was still $20 + tip, just for a few hours during lunch. Pleasant for special occasions but overpriced.
Enjoyed the apps more than my main, great service…overall pretty good.
The food was lovely but we felt very rushed. Food was cleared away quickly, my friend wasn’t asked if she was finished.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Cafe Boulud and will be back!
Spinach Omelettes were very disappointing. Almost flavourless. Burgers and smoked salmon tartines were good. Service was OK but not up to the Four Seasons’ normal standard.
