Service was outstanding. The room was comfortable and elegant.
It was great, our server was wonderful
A high end bistro with touches of innovation. Excellent food in a place comfortable for a special occasion like an anniversary. A wee bit noisy but not enough to spoil things.
We had the rudest waiter and the fried chicken was raw. Would never return, there are much nicer restaurants in yorkville with nicer staff.
Great experience overall. Four seasons never fails. Food is always delicious and well cooked with excellent service. A solid brunch spot.
Meeting my girlfriends parents. Perfect venue. Brunch was delicious and sizeable. I had the berry tartine which was a delicious slab of toast with beautiful fruit and walnuts. That was followed with the steak and eggs. Everything was prepared perfectly. Everything happened more or less when it needed to with the although it was slow service overall.
Waiter was terrible at breakfast today. On every level.
It is so wonderful dining in the cafe again with great food, great service and great ambiance. Over breakfast we were tentatively waited on by Vincent
Delicious food., great atmosphere, but the only thing is that it is very loud from the music that comes from downstairs
Food was wonderful service was fantastic and the wine was perfect!
Service, service, service..and pretty fantastic food as well!!
My absolute favourite place in Yorkville. I have been here for brunch and dinner numerous times and I love it every single time!
Excellent. And food delivery was sequenced perfectly
Our server was very helpful with suggestions and provided great service.
A very enjoyable dinner with old friends - everything top-notch, including the service
Nice 'cafe' style restaurant. Simple menu with a few items but well put together. Service was faster than I expected (food came quickly), but I think that was due to the 'cafe' style. Think it would be a great brunch place. Good value. Will go back.
Had another fantastic dining experience at Cafe Boulud! We enjoyed the Thanksgiving prix fixe menu. Each one of our family members tried a different appetizer and entree and everything was delicious. Zack provided excellent, attentive service as did Dennis and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals in a lovely atmosphere.
We went to Cafe Boulud for the Thanksgiving menu and everything was first rate. The selection was excellent and the quality of both the lamb and venison were top notch. The service was perfect with the right amount of time between each course. The ending of maple whiskey profiteroles could not be beat. The addition of dark chocolate sauce made this dessert outstanding. We will go back there again before next Thanksgiving.
We had the Thanksgiving prix fixe. I had the turkey roulade while my wife had the venison. The venison was quite excellent, well prepared and no “gamey” taste at all. The roulade was tasty. Pricey, but you are paying to eat at the Four Seasons with farm fresh ingredients and precise preparation/presentation of the food. The tables were well spaced out and safety protocols were observed, so we felt comfortable and safe. Service was friendly, efficient, professional and quick. A most memorable dinner for us. Thanks!
The food was very poor. The soup was cold the venison bland
The food is always top notch. We very much enjoyed our breakfast!
Celebrating a special friend's birthday. The service and food were beyond outstanding!! We celebrate her birthday here every year and look forward to coming back. Thank you!
We always loved coming here for a special occasion but prices have jumped WAY up.
We used to LOVE their Steak Frites but it's now chips- just not the same. Food is good and service is excellent but sadly we will not be returning.
The food tastes amazing!
A lovely casual place to gather with in the Yorkville area.
I always enjoy my lunch salads but await the return of the Lyonnaise
Lunch Menu was ok, most options are the same from previous visit. Food seems to be bland compare to before the pandemic. I really want to like this place because we’ve been coming here for years. The service is always great and staffs are like family but the standard of food has changed which turns out to be really disappointing and sad to realize.
Took my daughter for a birthday brunch. Good food, good service with one big hitch that had us feeling rushed. We were running a bit late due to bad traffic. Called the restaurant 25 minutes prior to our reservation time to say we’d unfortunately be late and asked if they could hold our reservation. We were bluntly told no, and that the table would be released after 15 min regardless of my call requesting a few extra minutes. We fortunately did arrive within the 15 minute grace period.
If not for the fact that it was a special occasion and I didn’t want to ruin my daughter’s birthday, I would have cancelled. It should be noted that there were several empty tables around us for the duration of our meal (not just the empty tables required for social distancing). They weren’t fully booked or under any pressure to release our reserved table.
Stopped in for a Saturday morning breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was great - the buttermilk pancakes and omelette were both very well done. The one hitch to be aware of is that you’ll pay well more than you would at other places with similar quality - still, that’s to be expected given the name and location, and i’ll acknowledge that it can be hard to elevate some breakfast dishes beyond a certain point. The ambiance and elegant decor both added to the experience. Given another chance, I would come back, but for the brunch rather than breakfast.
Nice staff, great food and good service in an upscale, but not stuffy, atmosphere.
Excellent food and services. Our server was very knowledgeable about the various dishes and gave excellent recommendations.
The Café Boulud is located at the Four Seasons Hotel so the ambiance was excellent and the food served was first class.
First time in Café Boulud here, in Toronto. But I already went to Daniel and Café Boulud in New York. As always, the food was impeccable and sublime. The service, very efficient, helpful and amicable. I'm very happy to have a high-quality restaurant close to home.
Fantastic staff and attention to detail!
Food was outsanding as well as the service. The waiter was very professional and attentive. Above all expectations within a fair reasonable price
Will definitely go again :)
thanks to the 4 seasons staff to make this moment a great time.
We had a family brunch at the Café. We ordered the pancakes and avocado toast and a few other items. Everything was fresh, hot, delicious and served at a nice pace and on time. Walter was attentive but did not rush us. The meal was an excellent experience. I usually go here for brunch when I’m in town.
Our table was in the far right corner booth, so we felt most comfortable there distance wise. Our waiter was superb but I can't remember his name. He did not rush us & was most accommodating to our wishes.
I would like to know the table number of our table as I would choose to sit there next visit.
By the way, the food was very good, especially the chicken & steak tartare.
Also our choice of wine & Martinis great!
Brunch was great. Delicious food and attentive service. Overpriced for what you get but overall, a great experience.
Went with my boyfriend and the service was phenomenal. They usually have a 1.5 hour seating time but we mentioned that we wanted to stay for the brunch menu and they directed us to the lounge area, where we stayed for almost 3 hours. It's quieter and less hectic this area, as well.
There was a slight (very honest) mistake with one of my orders and I ended up getting a small allergic reaction, however they were so kind and constantly made sure I was taken care of.
I would go back simply for the service and the environment. The food (we went for brunch) was great, however the service trumps even the food here in my opinion.
Remember to make a reservation!
All food items were perfect, from appetizer to dessert to the wine.
