The staff working here were lovely, it was slightly slow but under stable as it was very busy. Didn’t mind this either as the staff were so nice and friendly .
Food was great. Wine by the bottle a bit expensive .
Only negative was it was incredibly loud in there, had to almost shout to hear each other .
Overall, food great, staff great.
Always love coming here. It’s great and has been consistently good for years!
Pre-theatre dining at 6pm. The restaurant was not busy. Two mistakes were made with the order, firstly the side vegetables were forgotten and then a salad was brought out. There are obviously communication issues between the waitress who took the order and the kitchen/waiter who brought it.
The quality of the food was OK but nothing to write home about. I (unusually) had a burger but the menu description does not tell you exactly what it contains so if you don't want the full monty containing ketchup and mayonnaise etc I suggest you specify. The chocolate fondant was good.
It is dark for reading the menu but that's what the torch on a smart phone is for.
Very pleasant ambiance and delicious food. Will be back for the French Onion Soup
Great live jazz music, good food, wines and cocktails
Buzzy atmosphere, loved the jazz music in the bar.
Food great, most staff were good, not overly friendly.
Despite having my reservation confirmed and travelling into London for a special meal we were told on arrival that they could not accommodate us. Why didn’t they inform us prior to leaving home ?
Appalling customer service.
Ingredients were of good quality, but the cooking leaves much to be desired. Food was not worth the price. The restaurant was so dark I could not read the menu and so noisy I had to shout to be heard over the din. Overall an unsatisfying evening out.
A nice breakfast place, not much natural light and the staff weren't the friendliest and had to be reminded several times about missing pieces from our order.
Great value, atmosphere and service. Portions big, a tad dark. Really enjoyed it.
The service was not great and when I got home and looked at the bill, I had been charged for water - which as it was tap, I found unaccpetable, but my fault for not checking the bill at the time.
Lovely friendly staff and a very well priced menu!!
Great service. Nice ambiance. Not too expensive. Would recommend
Busy and buzzy, well priced and great portions of hearty food. Amazing vibes. London is back!
Lovely food and ambience and would highly recommend to friends
This is firmly established as an institution for us, and the food, drinks and service are excellent.
My only complaint is that it is really loud in there at peak times, so it is almost impossible to have a conversation over dinner. I used to come here for late night croque monsieur and don’t remember it being so hard to hear. Could just be my age!
It’s always, always brilliant! Love the vibe, love the staff, love the food.
It was really loud. And we felt a little cramped in as the restaurant puts tables close together. Service was excellent. Starters good. Mains were average and second choice as first choice not available. Booked through open table but we had to ask to be moved to the restaurant which I found perplexing. One time experience but good people.
One of my most favourite places in town! Delicious french food. Superb wine. The higher end of budget, but so good.
Delicious breakfast. Fabulous atmosphere. Friendly service
Steak was tough and we were rushed out after an hour and a half!
I appreciate you want to create ambiance with the level of lighting but when one has to pick up the table candle in order to read the menu you may have gone a tad too far!!
It was great x lovely staff, food and atmosphere all really fabulous 👍🏼
The service is unbelievably bad - almost felt like performance art. The food is a hard fine - there are far nicer places in a stones throw from here.
Really think they were short staffed - sure it’ll get better
Vibrant , busy bistro in Soho. Lovely food , service was excellent. Best Bloody Mary’s!
The service was horrible. There were two waitresses for the whole place and they messed up the order, the bill reflected the mistake which we would’ve been overcharged for and thankfully I caught it. It took forever to even get the bill in the first place.
One of my favourite places in London ,great atmosphere, love it when they have live music , food is simple and classic french brassiere fare , well priced and some really wonderful cocktails. Totally recommend
Arriving at 20.00 to find the only two restrooms for women without light and toilet paper is disturbing. When the waiters were told they said the new about it and apologized.
The restaurant is a Soho House establishment but the staff new little about the member ship credit, expiring yesterday
Always good quality food with a nice vibe. Reasonable for luncheon or an afterword bite.
Wonderful staff. The food was incredible! I highly recommend the creme brulee.
Nice pub and drinks but food a bit poor and high noise level
Really good staff really helpful and polite. Food also excellent
Excellent all round - went for Sunday brunch and it wasn't too busy but there was a nice atmosphere and the décor was lovely. Staff were friendly and efficient. There was a great choice of different breakfast/brunch/lunch dishes and the food was delicious. It would have been good if the waiting staff had mentioned when asking if I wanted toast with my omelette that there would be an extra charge for that, but can't blame them for upselling a bit after the last 18 months. I will definitely remember it for future trips to London.
Lovely ambience, Emily very professional thank you
Service was very slow and at times surly- which was a shame but we had come for the outdoors Soho vibe and the street scene made up for that. I wouldn't hurry back to be served indoors- which is saddening as I used to be a very regular visitor
Great pre theatre brunch - superb food and service - would definitely come back
Our waitress was lovely but the lady who sat us along with a few of the staff were more interested in saying hello to people they knew on the street, no welcome and a lack of basic customer service skills. Seating was hectic. Thankfully waitress and food were good.
Compact menu offers French bistro type meals and small plates like muscles and fry’s well cooked, fresh and very tasty. Atmosphere is excellent and relaxed in the heart of vibrant Soho. My favourite place for relaxed afternoon drinks and a late lunch, usually with live music wafting through the background chatte.
The staff members were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
The service was very good. The food was great.
At times, the piano music was too loud for me.
Otherwise, we had a wonderful time.
Thank you all.
