This is my favorite go to restaurant!
I have been going to Cafe Bizou for over 30 years and absolutely love it each and every time!
The food is great as is the service!
It is a valley institution that we highly recommend!
Lazare is the best. Beef Wellington is one of their Wednesday specials and was delicious. Even more delicious was the baked potato the cheesy baked potato that came with it it was amazing.
We had a wonderful time. It has been a favorite for a long time. We went for the Lobster fest, but my wife was a little upset with the lack of lobster with her Linguini. she mentioned it to the waitress who was very attentive and brought more. Thanks!
I am a regular customer . I love this place and their bread pudding, it is my favorite dessert .. great service and good food.
How can I say FABULOUS in 50 letters. And, why must it be 50 letters? Just curious
Arrived early and were given one of the best tables in the restaurant. Servers were very attentive and pleasant. The food was delicious...and enjoyed bottle of wine that we brought with us and were pleasantly surprised to discover the very inexpensive corkage fee!! the ambiance is very nice . GREAT value for the $$
VERY loud! However- good food, efficient service and great prices. A bit short handed at the bar so patience is required.
I always receive great customer service when I come here. I love the staff and the food. It’s a win win here!
The salmon and melon salad was terrific. Usually, I don’t like sweet with My savory. This was perfect with a great citrus dressing. Great job!
Too noisy as always but we come for the great food as always!
They didn’t say happy anniversary even tho I put it on the reservation. They brought me salmon instead of sand dabs. Hostess did not look up to greet us at the door. My friends were already seated and no one told us so they came and found us at the bar. Lots of small issues that weren’t good. It used to be our favorite place.
Delicious French food going really well with my favorite wine because of the cheap corkage
Actually, we were a group of 5, not 3 (2 couples and me). I had been here before and really enjoyed the food. This was a birthday celebration for me and my eldest brother (also joined by my younger brother and 2 sisters-in-law). I am a very simple person and not picky. But my brothers and sisters-in-law, who have been all over the world, and have experienced many restaurants, were very impressed with the food, ambiance, service and overall dining experience.
Had Saturday night 5:45pm reservations. Café Bizou was busy. Waiter was very accommodating and pleasant. Explained menu and made recommendations. Price - value , was just as important as quality: grade : A+
Being a Saturday night, food came out "quickly" and hot. A very good meal.
Recommend to anyone that wants a 4 meal at a 3*** price.
We will be back !!
Good value, quite unprepared for the evening opening. Waiting staff were obviously late. Kitchen did not have bread ready so first course went ahead without any.
My mom’s 94th Birthday. Excellent all the way around!
Overcooked food. OK service. Normally love this place, but declined in recent months.
For almost 20 years, Bizou is the place where we are like home. Thanks again Phillipe.
Great place. Great value.
Overall a great dining experience. The food is very good and is very good value for the price. Service is very professional and one of the highlights of the dining experience here.
The one let down on this visit was the "front end" of the restaurant. When the reservation was made it was specified that a member of our party was celebrating her 92nd birthday. When we arrived the hostess could not find the reservation [she appeared to be new to the position], another staff member pulled himself off of the phone to help her and we were seated. At the end of the meal, when desert arrived, I expected to see a candle in something to acknowledge the occasion, zip nada zilch. I figured our waiter has not informed. Communications break down....
We will return as this is a comfortable, value focued place to dine
Cafe Bizou has long been a favorite and we were delighted to see the Prix Fixe lunch menu . We had lobster bisque for the appetizer and a delicious and generous piece of salmon with a wonderful sauce and five fresh vegetables displayed beautifully on the plate. At $17, it was a steal. The dining room is spacious, tables not placed too close together, and the service is attentive and amiable.
Great Value. Selection is quite extensive. Cooking is very good. Lots of French favorites well-prepared. A favorite place.
Lovely restaurant with old school vibe - white linen table cloths, pretty lighting etc. I've had the salmon here before and it was delicious, moist and soft. This time I tried the lamb chops and they were amazing. They were cooked perfectly, and had great flavor. They also have a bar and the cocktails are always good.
Came to celebrate a friends birthday. The food was delicious, the decor is lovely. I would go again and would also recommend it.
We had a great night out celebrating a birthday. Cocktails and Food were great and the service was top notch.
Love this place...food , $2 corkage fee, it's always hopping, trendy.
Great food, service, atmosphere
We love it
Always the best service with an extremely friendly staff. Quality of the food is always top notch
My husband and I love Cafe Bizou! Great service, fantastic food at a good price. And only $2 corkage fee.
We enjoy a ladies lunch every week and Cafe Bizou did a beautiful job with a group of 9. Attentive service and a charming bistro with excellent food. Enjoyed very much!
Service was ok. Berry salad was ok. Was glad to be seated before entire party arrived, appreciate that very much. Always feels better when Philippe is there!
Cafe Bizou is always consistently good. Their 3 course meal special for our dinner this week was terrific. I had lobster/shrimp for a main dish, their delicious stuffed mushroom appetizer, and their delicious flourless chocolate cake.
One of the best restaurants in the valley. Never disappoints, even after 20 years.
Met friends for lunch. Tasting menu choices were excellent and prices were reasonable. Ambience and service were good. Would definitely recommend.
I have been here many times. I found the noise level to be awful. Waitress was rushed, not necessarily nice or attentive. Could not find ice bucket for wine. Restaurant seemed overtaxed and while my meal was fine, others were not.
As expected, crowded on a Saturday night but food was good, great value, and excellent service.
As always, the food was exceptional! The service is usually very good but on this occasion it was slow. This is a great place for a relaxing, slow paced meal that accommodates drinks, the main course and desert while enjoying casual conversation. The atmosphere is conducive to romantic and special occasions. We have been enjoying Café Bizou for many years and although it is one of our favorite restaurants it is time for an interior make over, new chairs and expanded restrooms.
Bizou is my most favorite restaurant. I love the atmosphere, the service is good and I always know what I order will be delicious. Philippe is masterful at all he does, juggling many tasks at once in a high-stress environment.
We go to Cafe Bizou a couple of times a year. The food is fantastic and a great value! The staff is always smiling, very attentive and super friendly. And nothing ever beats the $2 corckage fee.
We started with calamari and cocktail shrimp for the appetizers. JUST DELICIOUS!
I used to often get the steak frite. My wife loves the monkfish! This time I had the New York steak (medium rare). It was amazing and I may have liked it better (by a very thin margin) compared to the Steak frite. My wife loved every succulent bite of the monkfish.
The flourless chocolate cake was also fabulous.
Can't wait until we go again.
