This is by far my favorite restaurant and I am always willing to go out of my way for this place. You can bring your own wine for a very low corkage fee. My favorites are the stuffed mushrooms and the fig salad. Then I always get the monkfish with the lobster sauce because you can't find it in most places and it tastes like lobster. However if you don't like fish the rack of lamb is awesome. But the best thing and the reason I go there is for the flour less chocolate cake. It is to die for and even if I'm on a diet I can't leave without having that. The value is great.

Have been going for years and will continue to go. It's the best restaurant in the Valley. Tables can get a bit crowded. :-)

French bistro comfort food and atmosphere--very comfortable and friendly! I had shrimp and lobster risotto--delicious and what a bargain! My friend had a large entree salad and raved about it! Steaks, chicken, fish! Great wine selection and a full bar. Dessert was an apple tart which was perfection. Many dessert choices. Both of us are foodies who recently moved into the area. Obviously, our neighbors go there often as the place was packed, but we got last minute reservations. Very fairly priced and GOOD! Valet parking at $6. My new favorite place!

Great meeting place - since we came from Sana Monica, Hollywood and Simi Valley. The menu had something for everyone and everyone was more than pleased with their choice. Good selection of wine and excellent service!

We had a birthday dinner for one of our good friends. There were six of us in our party. Food was very good, it's always consistently good. We had a nice table. It was cozy but perfect for keeping everyone in the conversation. They weren't that busy when we got there and the waiter could have been more attentive. Other than that everything was great and we had a wonderful time.

Surprisingly, the food was somewhat bland this time. The service was all right, but not the usual excellence. We will return because we've always found it great here and figured that
this time was an off day.

This was our second visit to this branch of Cafe Bizou. We live in Pasadena area and visited the Pasadena branch many times (until it recently closed). We like the ambiance, which is toned-down French, and the food, which is also toned-down French. The service has always been very professional and friendly. The wine list is brief, but has good values.

I have been dining at Cafe Bizou for several years. I tried to make a reservation for a party through Open table, but they wouldn't take it through Open Table and I had to call direct.

The date is Saturday November 25th. I hope it is a perfect evening for my perfect friends B'day...

I also appreciate that Cafe Bizou has a low corkage fee...makes it very desirable for us.

I celebrated my birthday with a Sunday Brunch that was not only delicious, but also very reasonable priced. Our waiter was very kind, attentive and humorous. My guests were delighted with the place and enjoyed their great atmosphere. I highly recommend this place any time and for any occasion. Norma Brooks

I think Cafe Bizou was better than the last few times I've visited. It was the first time trying Macadamia Nut crusted Halibut and that was fantastic! So was the potato leek soup. Just delicious and spot on mashed potatoes. We had great service, too.

Food was tasty, but service left a lot to be desired (waiters seemed disinterested in serving and cleaning the table). We appreciated the owner stopping by to check on us.

I've been going to Cafe Bizou since my childhood. It is our family special occasion restaurant and holds such sweet memories of meals with my grandparents.
The food is uniformly excellent and not too expensive given the quality, ambience and service. While this particular visit was somewhat diminished by a loud table, we still left stuffed and happy. You will see people here very well dressed or more casual, the lighting is very dim, and the space is cozy.
One note is the lack of a vegetarian entree. There is a pasta dish, but it would go a long way to have an entree that features some of the wonderful vegetables that are so well prepared as side dishes. The carrot soup is wonderful, as is the lobster bisque. My brother loves the steak au poivre and I always liked the salmon dishes. You really can't go wrong.

Don't know the area at all and did some research to find a restaurant where I could meet a friend. How disappointing. Despite having a reservation and seeing plenty of empty tables, we had to wait over 10 minutes to be seated. The service was very good - but the food was SO mediocre. It wasn't bad... it was just tasteless (even the french fries were under cooked and unsalted!?!).

We had been to Cafe Bizou several times in the past and decided to celebrate my birthday there on the 29th (Sept).
On the on-line reservation, the occasion was listed as 'Birthday'. As we were seated I ordered two drinks from the bar, telling the waitress we wanted to wait a bit before ordering.
She told me that we could order beforehand and that the meal would arrive after we had
finished our drinks. Within ten minutes, both appetizers came. We felt very rushed - even though we told them to hold the food until... The appetizers were not up to the standards
we had had in the past. We also made an early reservation so as not to feel pressure.
The waitress was almost invisible once the order was taken.
P.S. No mention of deserts was offered - and, of course, not even a corny, but appreciated complimentary 'song' or cookie or anything for the 'Occasion'.
Not too interested in coming back.

This restaurant was recommended as a good place to come with my elderly cousin, whom I was meeting for the very first time. It was definitely a special occasion. I asked for a quiet table since my relative was hard-of-hearing and they were very accommodating. The wait staff was patient and the food was delicious. We both had sesame crusted salmon and shared tiramisu for dessert. All excellent! We were not rushed and it really was a perfect evening to get to connect with a delightful person.
