Service, food , ambience outstanding
We have dined at Cafe Bink many times over the past two years. When we dined there last week, we were disappointed with the food.....it was well below what we have been used and expected.
A must go back and sample much more of the menu The fish entree and sloppy joe were so delicious.
We went here due to Café Bink making the Phx New Times 9 best places for brunch and because it was on the north end of the valley. It was pretty good. The menu for brunch is pretty limited. One of my brother's and I had the Pork Green Chile with two sunny side eggs and potatoes. Very tasty and a very large portion of the pork. My other brother had the omelet which he said was good and my sister had the classic breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast and potatoes. Everyone enjoyed but I can't see myself making it a point to go back. The service was very nice. It was not very busy, so it was quiet. It's a very small place and it seemed like the food was very fresh.
Their fry chicken with its buttermilk coating is to die for. I could eat it daily!
Speical 50th Anniversary meal for my wife and me along with 3 neighbors. Everyone loved the meal and great service....
Shared chicken liver mousse, Caesar salad, then enjoyed a trout entree (best ever) and the chicken entree with a lovely Emeritus pinot noir recommended by Tori. Awesome dinner!
While the atmosphere wasn’t exactly as romantic as I hoped for an anniversary (and it was too chilly for us to comfortably sit in the quieter outdoor seating), we were overjoyed at the food quality and flavor of this casual and friendly neighborhood bar/bistro we stumbled upon during our vacation. Every selection we chose was delicious. My husband said the hamburger he picked was the best he’d ever had, and our server was helpful and friendly. I’d be frequenting Cafe Bink if it was in my neighborhood!
We make an effort to dine here whenever we are in town and we enjoy every visit.
They're bolognese with creamy polenta is out of this world.
The only complaint is the entree came out before salads.
The food was tasty and the service was friendly but could use a little training. Had to ask for silver ware and to have the table cleaned between enter and dessert. Worth a visit.
Excellent in every aspect. We are very exited to have new owner and chef Branden
Consistently excellent experience. Amy does a fabulous job with an interesting menu and intimate outdoor space.
We love eating at Cafe Bink! We've never been disappointed, and the Valentine's Day special meal with wine tasting was beyond wonderful! We also love the wait staff as they are SO friendly and remember you!
Our latest trip to Cafe Bink was for Valentine's Day, and let me say it was AMAZING!!! A perfect lobster salad, a fantastic cod/orzo dish that was to die for and Chateaubriand with potatoes that were out of this world!
Great food with a bit of 'twist'. Had the chicken salad sandwich and roasted pork sandwich with their wonderful fries. Delish!
Great food and service. A favorite dining spot for us every year when we visit Az. apple cranberry co bbler was fantastic
Tuesday is Mexican night and always fun. Interesting cocktails and food options.
We love to sit at the bar - talk to the staff & watch the food preparation in the open kitchen! We love the “neighborhood” bar/restaurant feel every time we go for dinner or sometimes just a drink! The food is always reliable! So is the service!
Didn’t have a table ready, even though there were open tables and the food was only fair.
Took inlaws for anniversary. First time I went for brunch. The Huevos Rancheros which were excellent. My wife had the Benedict which looked amazing!!
Our trip to Bink’s in Carefree. Great food and service!
Best battered cod outside of Alaska! The dish is fresh, light and crispy. The green tomato relish on the bottom is a tangy, tart and a perfect pair for the cod. Match the fish with their delicious fries and you’ll be in heaven. But don’t stop there - make sure to try the vegetables sides which are almost a meal by themselves. Love Tequila Tuesday as well. Housemade guacamole is fresh and full of flavor.
Great food-especially the Mac-n-Cheese. Corn muffins with honey butter are out of this world!!
Went to Cafe Bink for a quick lunch before some shopping for art in Carefree. The servers seemed overwhelmed that day and did mention that it was busier than normal, but there were still lots of seats available, so they may be a bit understaffed. Hard to get more tea, water. Food delicious when it finally arrived. Tables really close together, so had to listen to two other conversations around me. I would choose to go somewhere else.
Always love cafe bink! Great tasting menus! Great service! One of our favorites!
Once more we were not disappointed in Cafe Bink. There is new life here and we are loving it.
Love Cafe Bink, incredible food creatively prepared in a simple way with the freshest local ingredients and always consistently perfect. The French Fries are a must to be shared...out of this world! A slice of France with a California cuisine touch.
Great food. Wonderful waitress. Always enjoy Cafe Bink.
Just great food! Fun and great outside views. Yes
The food was fabulous as always, It the service was extremely disappointing. We were there with 2 friends on a Thursday night. There were 2 other tables occupied when we arrived, and halfway through our meal we were the only people there. Our waiter was inattentive. We had to call him over to take our order. He served our second course before clearing the dirty dishes from our first course. When he did come to our table, he spoke only when spoken to. He was on his phone behind the bar. Finally a customer came and sat at the bar, and our waiter spent the rest of the night talking to him.
The rest of the staff had nothing to do, so they were scrubbing the hoods over the stove with soapy water. We watched as it dropped down. Was it on our food? We couldn’t see.
We love the food and will return to hopefully see that the service has returned to what we have always expected from Cafe Bink.
Consistent great service and quality food. Awesome happy hour!
Great patio table by the fire. We had a good evening.
The food was well prepared and very tasty, the wait staff was FAB U LOUS!!! Very accommodating and EXTREMELY friendly!!! Hostess left a little to be desired though...
The menu had a great selection and the food was really beautifully prepared and tasty. Highly recommended.
Meal was good , but we think it’s too pricey for lunch
Miss Binkelys in Cave Creek and midtown is too far. However Cafe Bink fills in nicely and we'll be back!!
We had a carafe of Sauvignon Blanc a ham sandwich and a fish sandwich. The ham was exquisite house made with crispy onions. I would definitely order again.
Great, as always! Look forward to coming back. Thank you.
We love Cafe Bink. Stay near Troon and make the drive for lunch after a hike or for dinner. Both great. Service excellent and food is terrific!
We heard there was a new chef/part owner at what we consider a neighborhood rsstaurant that we USED to frequent, but had stopped going to due to spotty service and a deteriorating food quality. Decided to try the "Tasting Menu" served at the bar on Fr/Sa nites, and available only by reservation, and we now have a new favorite food experience. Although the regular menu for table service is fairly casual, Chef Justin offers a weekly tasting menu that is fabulously creative, and every bite was a delectable treat. The menu changes weekly and there are wine pairings, and we were totally WOWED! For our tasting, the tempura veggies with dill dipping sauce had the lightest batter ever, and the veggies were crisp and yummy; the bacon vinaigrette on the salad was perfect; the butternut squash soup with maple foam and crisp pepitas a masterful combination of sweet/salty/savory/crispy; the pork entree with pears remarkably tender and lick-the-plate worthy. We thought we had no room for desert, but ate every bite and licked our lips. What a wonderful and truly unexpected experience!!!
