Father’s Day. Waiter was great as was the hostess at the front
Food was good but for what we got I'd say a little over-priced. For instance the last salad on the list, which we ordered a large for $17 was 99% arugula, a few pecans (maybe 8) and a few tiny, tiny ramps (maybe 3). That's a little much for a plate full of arugula. You get my drift.
Love this place down at the lovely brickworks! Food is great and changes regularly! It’s my daughters favourite place for Mac and cheese 😃
I love the setting of this restaurant and the food is always delightful. The pulled pork was perfect as were my poached eggs (perfectly cooked egg whites and nicely runny yoke, Mm, hmm, good!). Mimosa with mango juice instead of the traditional orange juice presented a lovely twist. The one thing that was a bit disappointing was the service... On the first beautiful Sunday of the year, our waitress was quite a bit of a sourpuss. Luckily the weather was too nice for us to be bothered by her negative vibes.
The ratio quantity vs price is quite low! Sorry but the Portobello mushroom main course was not a main course! I was starving after that...
Delicious foods and superb atmosphere that allowed for great conversation.
Very accommodating staff, excellent food and a sunny day to boot! What could be better? We all enjoyed ourselves very much, thank you to all!
LOVE this place. Note that weekends are very busy. Arrive earlier to find parking :)
Great food, really informed and attentive service, wonderful location. It is a bit out of the way from downtown, but worth the effort of getting there.
Food was great but our server seemed a bit clueless.
While the food was excellent, the service was not great - our server was not attentive...we had to get another waitstaff to top up our coffees and ask about our food order, which was taking a long time. She explained that the kitchen was really busy, which we could appreciate - it would have been nice if our server had at least come by to check on us and advise us about the longer than usual wait.
The food was really good...we would come back, but we wanted to let you know that the overall score would have been higher but the service was not good. Thanks, Laurie
My overall experience at Cafe Belong was great. I took my clients there for a client lunch and it was enjoyed by all. There were many a clean plate when the server took our plates away. The atmosphere was equally enjoyable as we sat on the patio in the sunshine. This was especially appreciated as the server accommodated the last minute request to change our dining from indoors to outdoors. Our server was attentive, polite and prompt. Thank you!
Table needed cleaning.
Creative and well-balanced flavours paired woth good service.
Service and food was great. Only reason for the 4 stars, is the food took a long time to come. I am sure this was because it was a holiday Sunday. We shall be back.
Wonderful food and location.
It was a great brunch at a nice patio where we tied our dogs by the fence outside! Thank you for the great surface and good food!
They took reservations for 5 for Sunday brunch- which is basically unheard of in Toronto. The menu was small but interesting our sever had a bit of an edge. Cocktail options were very limited.
I love the cafe, a bit pricey but nice experience.
I'm a big fan, bright and interesting ambiance, lovely brunch, never had a bad experience
Outstanding food as usual!
Pricey and food was mediocre The poached eggs of the eggs benedict were perfect but the meat was over cooked and tastelesss. The same with the Corn beef. No taste. Would never have known it was corn beef
I always enjoy Cafe Belong but found the menu this time didnt have as much variety.
Lovely views through large windows. Pleasant atmosphere. Service was attentive. Food was delicious. A bit pricey but fresh and interesting. Quantities are not huge but it is a matter of quality over quantity.
Exceptionally well prepared and presented food. Friendly and attentive service on, albeit, a very quiet Saturday evening. Look forward to returning soon.
Needs to have more gluten free options. Would be great if you had pancakes or French toast options.
Great environment and lovely experience. Certainly would recommend .
Smoke trout is a bit salty, everything else are great
The food was great and the place was beautiful, but our service was lacking. One of our waitresses was incredibly rude and I’m not sure if she was mad we stayed so long (we had a large party for a celebration) but she partically ripped the machine out of everyone’s hand when it came time to pay and was very impatient the whole brunch and wanted to rush us along. We all left at least a 15-20% tip despite her behaviour. If you have a nice manned waitress I’d say it’s a great spot, but my family was less than thrilled with the service treatment.
Good brunch this morning. Ordered toast as a side, then ordered jam. Did not think jam should be an extra charge of $2.
Otherwise, good experience.
loved it all .. big portions though! nice casual place .. love a place that cares about the flatware, dishware napkins etc. great LATTE.
This is a gem of a place, the food is always out of this world and the service is amazing. They source locally and truly deliver. A must of you are in Toronto. We always go for brunch, but I can only imagine dinners being awesome as well!
Sumi was amazing and treated us like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Ambiance was so cozy and the food was fantastic. I have been there several times and always a great experience.
Great food and environment. Friendly staff. Family friendly!!
Number one in my books! Supports local and seasonal – well prepared food and an outstanding ONTARIO wine list.
Excellent last minute dinner. Always a good bet that there will be something delicious here. We only had charcuterie, soups and salads but wished we had a bigger appetite for the sharing plates. They are always good. It's a little cold down there at the brickworks so wear lots of layers in cold weather. Windows are lovely to look out of but drafty. Great service and great food for casual Friday dinner.
Always great food, great service, great atmosphere.
Does not disappoint. Brunch is to die for. I will be returning
The food as always was excellent - the service in our experience was also, as always, mediocre.
Delicious food in a wonderful setting. The restaurant is very attractive and comfortable and the views in the valley and the brickworks are great. Plus you can take a walk, go to the market, enjoy some skating or take your kids to the playground.
