The food and service were great. The prices were reasonable. I took my wife there for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time. We will definitely go back.
Large portions. Delicious.
Fantastic food and service 😊😊👍🏼
The restaurant was very accommodating to the changes to our reservation. Service was excellent. Food was cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the French Press with my tea infused with fruit/spices!
Sunday brunch reunited former teammates from the 2017 French women's waterpolo championship team. The selections were appetizingly plated and delicious.
Their food was cold and I ordered almond tart but I changed because was not fresh
always to dine there, especially if David is our waiter.
Excellent food and service. Lot the outdoor setting.
I don't know if it was an off day for them on Labor Day, but I cannot recommend this restaurant. We were there for brunch. The service was bad, the kitchen did not seem to be able to handle the the number of orders they had that day. The coffee was Luke warm. The food was luke warm to cold and the crepe I had was not good. Disappointed.
Fish was wonderful the steak was sent back to the kitchen. Overcooked and Very chewy.
Love the French onion soup.
The server did a good job on expediting my husband second choice after sending the state back
This is one of my favorite locales for quiet lunches and dinners with friends. The food is authentic - very much like what I ate when I traveled in the French Riviera and Monaco . It is cooked and presented well, and the service is attentive and non-disruptive. They actually notice when your mouth isn't full to ask how your meal tastes. :) I highly recommend them and will return often for their Duo of Beet salad, French Onion Soup, and Quiche!
I love the al fresco dining it provides. I love the soft music. I wish they played French music. (Did they? I don't remember. But it would be apropos!) I HATE the LOUDNESS of music and the noise in MOST dining places here in the US. This is why I love George's Bistro in Costa Mesa. It should be publicized more. So many dining places here are SO noisy. I have to yell to be heard by my companion. Even Habana Restaurant in CM, upscale as it is, plays LOUD music! I told the manager about it; she said she could do nothing about it. It speaks of BAD TASTE!
Love this place. This is a wonderful restaurant with a good menu variety. It is one of our go-to French restaurants. Very good value. Reminds us of the casual restaurants (sidewalk cafes) in Europe.
Wyatt the host was nice and professional. However, our server took more than 15 minutes before he even greeted us. Asked for water with our order and had to ask three times before he remembered to bring it. The restaurant wax not crowded so not sure why it took so long. Nice outdoor dining and great happy hour food.
Love this newly discovered French Café in Fashion Island in Newport Beach.
Twice time this week. Joined their reward club and returned to take advantage
of $5 off my meal and I had another special discount waiting at home on my
computer when I returned from another delightful lunch. Once again, David was
the server and he is excellent. Nice to see good food and good service at the same
So pleased to discover this gem of a restaurant.
Waiter David made dining experience unsurpassable!! Can hardly wait to return for great food and staff.
Met with some friends that are always looking for someplace different to get together and was very happy with this recommendation.
I have experienced Cafe Beau Soleil for both lunch and dinner and I would recommend it for either. The atmosphere is as close as you'll get to dining at a sidewalk cafe in Paris. The menu is creative and varied. I always feel that I'd be happy with almost ant of their offerings. The ingredients are always fresh and tasty. Try the Cajun Chicken Salad for lunch. I think it's the best salad in Southern California.
I never tire of this place! Their menu has so many yummy items that I never run out of food to try out. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Breakfast is served nearly all day, so if you show up in the afternoon and they hand you a lunch/dinner menu but you crave breakfast, be sure to ask them for a breakfast menu. Enjoy!
Good took way too long to arrive.
This is a nice, simple spot in right in Fashion Island. It wasn't very busy. The ambiance is nice and the staff was very friendly and prompt. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Definetly recommend for a quick stop if you're shopping around Fashion Island.
Wouldn't count on a reservation actually meaning it's a reservation.
Mother's Day Brunch for the 2nd year in a row. Delicious food, nice indoor/outdoor seating and awesome service!
The food and service is reliably excellent. The menu offers many interesting and tasty options for appetizers, small bites, and entrees. The creme brulee is wonderful!
Good food, great ambiance and excellent service by Andy.
The Croque Madesmoiselle would have tasted so much better on a toasted baguette slice.
After going to Paris in 2010, my husband and I yearned for more delicious French food. We were pleased to find Café Beau Soleil! Their menu is huge, and they have a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Breakfast is served late, too! They have a soup of the day and a quiche of the day. Their soups are typically crème-free (for those who are lactose intolerant). This place will not disappoint! We've introduced Café Beau Soleil to several of our friends and family members, and they always return for more. They have a dog-friendly outside patio, and their covered patio has heaters. The patio is a great people-watching location to dine at for people-watching at Fashion Island.
Fabulous breakfasts! Lovely opportunity to sit outside and enjoy delicious food. Very much a true cafe atmosphere!
Even though we went at a busy time. Our waiter was so nice telling us how long it would be and then comped our $15 corkage fee. He was very sincere. We love the menu; the food is very good Bistro food; and its casual but warm. Very nice!
We had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. The food was good and there was a lot of it; you could easily share the crepes. The only waiter working was late to work so the hostess stepped in to help but it took longer than we expected.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always fresh and served hot. Very nice people.
This is a small French inspired restaurant in Fashion Island which is convenient if shopping there. Our food was good but not fantastic and portions were more than we could eat.
There are probably other items on the menu that would be better than we had, so I can't be too much more help.
We had a valentine's dinner here. Had a wonderful course menu. Duck was very tender and tasted just right. I would like to come back for their regular meal hours!
Always a winner. Wonderful variety of delicious crepes--a delightful lunch not to be found elsewhere.
Sweet Potato Beignets- soggy, bland
Apple soup special - very bland
Escargot-small but delicious
Lamb Shank - texture could have been better, temperature as well
Mushroom Pasta - very good
Beef Bourguinon- very good
perfect go-to restaurant; well prepared variety of tasty food, served in a what feels like a neighborhood café
