To help ensure the safety of our guests and employees during this time, we have set in place new dining standards:
-Guests are required to wear masks while in the restaurant and during interactions with staff, only to be removed while eating/drinking at your table.
-Guests will have their temperatures taken prior to entering the restaurant. Any guest with temperature over 100.0°F will not be allowed to dine with us.
- All guests must confirm they have not traveled to any restricted state within the last 10 days.
- Please note reservations are limited to 1hr 30min.

The tapas were excellent, sangria was good and great service! Pallea was pretty average considering how much it costs.
Food and drinks were great! Nice service and great recommendations by our server. Very clean and tables are socially distanced.
Excellent assortment of Tapas. We were a part of 4 and had 9 plates shared. Excellent service and attention to detail. Social distancing between tables was in the norm. Very pleased with my brunch experience on January 24th!

We were sat at a terrible table in a room full of great ones. Off kilter and shoved in a very cold and small corner. Service was OK and food was not as great as we remembered.
I've enjoyed dining at Cafe BabaReeba a number of times in the past, but this time I was disappointed with the table we were placed at, where the ambiance was not at all what I've experienced in my past times visiting. We were placed in a back/side room. Though the sangria was delicious as always, the atmosphere was severely lacking this time.
Absolutely love Ba-Ba-Reeba. Everything is a hit - the service, food, sangria. Also have great happy hour specials from 4-6pm daily.
I’ve been here more than 25 times. Its by far my favorite restaurant in Chicago. Everything is superb! I bring people here from out of town all the time.

The "outdoor" dining was warm and cozy - didn't feel like the standard tent. The food, as always, was outstanding as was the service. Do yourself a favor and go!

It’s such a lovely place with kind server and delicious tapas. We got a high table out on the patio and the heater was keeping us so warm in the cold evening at a January night in Chicago. Would definitely wanna try again the sangrias and sweet potato soup, and other tapa choices: D
Dined here for the first time, and I already cannot wait to go back! The food was absolutely delicious, the sangrias were perfect, and the ambiance was cozy and comfortable. They did a good job of taking all COVID precautions. Would recommend!

We were informed of the time limit when sitting down, but didn’t realize we would be rushed out of our table after spending $300 and would have bought more sangria if we had time. We couldn’t get more sangria but were offered coffee & desserts before getting the check which didn’t make a ton of sense.
Amazing!! They’re doing such a good job with Covid restrictions. Dining area is not cold at all. Food is still amazing as always.
Great service, great food, my only complaint is that the servings all come in odds so we had to fight over the last piece! But the food was THAT good.
We went the night before last as a family of 5 with 3 grown children. Our table was ready as we arrived. The tapas were as great as ever, especially the tenderloin with blue cheese, the calamari (both fried and grilled), the goat cheese, and the bacon-wrapped dates. The seafood paella is terrific. Our waitress was prompt and attentive throughout. We washed down the whole feast with a pitcher of red sangria. We'll be back.
With COVID regulations, it felt very normal. I could still tell that they were still following everything yet we had a great time

Anniversary
Weekend brunch at the patio. Dined on 3-5 occasions in 2020. Too many patrons for our liking this time, it was packed. Seemed like additional tables were set up. Out of abundance of precaution, we’ll avoid going back for a few months.

It was the New Year’s Pajama brunch and for a friend and me, it is now a tradition. This year was different but no less enjoyable. The crowd was smaller, the tables well spaced, fewer patrons in pajamas but the food was wonderful and our server had time to take care of us. We enjoyed the dates wrapped in bacon, Brussels sprouts salad, filet with blue cheese, flan and received gift cards for the amount of our check.
This is one of my and my friends’ favorite restaurants. I enjoy it every time! So, I didn’t get disappointed the last time I went either. The tapas are amazing, the sangria.. the patio was heated and the air flow was perfect... I’m so grateful to have had such a nice night out after not having been out in a long time and it was due to this restaurant! Thank you!
