The food and service was wonderful. The obnoxious man at the table next to us telling his friends what they all had to do when they visited Italy was not wonderful.

Had the hanger steak, it was a very small portion swimming in what tasted like a bad gravy. Worst hanger steak I've ever had. Other guest had the tuna had a good taste but was over cooked The other two in the party had redfish, which was fair a best, poor use of seasoning, flavoring. Had the crawfish biegnets they were ok. Desserts were fair. Can't believe this is a Brennan restaurant! I'm generally not a tough critic, but this just was not good. 4 cocktails, lower cost bottle of wine dinner for 4 $300. Not happy.

Had brunch with son who was visiting from out of town.

Started off with the crawfish beignets and eggplant sticks which both were pretty good. The ladies both had the hangar steak and both entree’s came out on the cold side, I got the paneed veal, the taste was decent but very tough. The dessert was very good and the service was good but expected more from a Brennan restaurant.

Great evening as usual at Café B, no special occasion although it's always special at Café B. We shared the spout salad which was really good. Susan had the drum chef special while I had the crawfish pasta seasonal special. A good dining experience!

Good food, good service, good place to eat for casual or evening dining.

Overall Easter brunch was fantastic! Only concern was how crowded it was. Tables were so close together wait staff kept bumping chairs.

Everything was great as usual but the server kept typing to serve dessert while one person at our table was still dining.

I took my mother to Cafe b for an Easter Sunday dinner. We both ordered turtle soup as an appetizer then I had shrimp and grits while my mother had grillades and grits. Our soups and entrees both came out cold. The turtle soup was overly citrus tasting and very bitter.

On the positive side the service was wonderful even though we had to send our food back 3 times before it came out hot. The maître d' offered to bring out something else when I told him about the turtle soup, so I suppose it's my own fault for not getting something else. Also, the desserts were delightful and hot. I had bread pudding and my mother enjoyed the peach blueberry cobbler with ice cream.

I have been to many Ralph Brennan restaurants before and I've been delighted by the food, ambience, service and atmosphere. Cafe b was a big disappointment on a special occasion I will not be back.

Always enjoy dining at Cafe B.

We have had Easter brunch here for several years and plan to continue this tradition. We have also been for brunch on non- holiday weekends and it's just as good.

Staff is friendly and helpful. My husband and I both have birthday's in the same month, so chose Cafe B to celebrate. We enjoyed our dining experience. At the end of the meal, we were each given a generous gift certificate for our next visit. We returned to use our certificates (which by the way had expired, but they were still honored). Unfortunately, the return visit was less enjoyable even though they were not busy on a Saturday night. Service was good and again, staff was friendly and helpful, but the food was just not as good. My husband had the veal over pasta, he reported that the sauce on the pasta had a funny taste. My fish was OK, not a lot of flavor. Because we love the atmosphere and the fact that its a quiet neighborhood, restaurant, we'll give it one more try.

First time there and the service and food was wonderful. Turtle soup, soft shell crab and creme brûlée was the makings of a great dinner.

I very much enjoyed our dinner. The food and service were great. I only have one complaint. We drink water with our meal and at this reataurant water is served without ice. Most establishments serve water with ice. Upon request, our server did provide ice so, to be fair, this is not a major complaint.

Been to Café b many times, and am never disappointed. Food consistently good, along with the service.

Great Brunch!

We had heard it was a hit or miss place to go. Shannon was awful as a server. Seemed like she was mostly on break and no one else helped us. Food was okay but pricey

Chef prepares interesting dishes. Service is always excellent. Parking can be a problem but they do offer valet.

We come to Cafe B for Sunday brunch periodically. The food is always good. There are brunch selections and more lunch-y choices. There is an amuse bouche of little blueberry muffins which my daughters love. The kids menu is reasonable and good. On the adult menu, the grits are fantastic, and I'm generally happy with what I order. The weak spot is service. We never have the same server twice. Which means that sometimes service is wonderful and sometimes it leaves a bit to be desired. The host is great, and if I'm having a problem with service, he will usually take care of it.

My in-laws from out of town wanted to take me out to brunch for my birthday. The server, Angelle, was sweet. She was very attentive. My in-laws have serious food allergies and we picked this restaurant because their menu was accomodating. It's so difficult to find a place where they can eat! I ordered the Salmon and eggs (benedict). It was amazing! Perfectly cooked. The donut holes are amazing! They taste like apple cider donuts and they are house-made! We will be back because I loved their brunch (and endless mimosas)!

Wonderful dining experience for a nice Valentine’s Day dinner! We always enjoy our dinner at cafe b. We chose to eat off of the regular menu and it was perfect!

I love their hanger steak as well as their hamburger. Their gumbo is also very good.

All the menu selections are a notch above the ordinary and very tasty w/ reasonable pricing. The atmosphere is simple but tasteful w/ outdoor seating available. In addition, complementary valet parking is available.

I booked here for brunch for my wife birthday via open table and there was no mention of that at our brunch. We've been there a lot of times. It was just ok this time.

Gabby was our server and she was great! I dined with 5 others and we were all unhappy with our food... food came out ice cold, bland to the taste and 2 of us ordered burgers medium well, but the patties were so thick that the only way to achieve this temperature was to basically char the outsides. We chose this place for the bottomless mimosas which we enjoyed. We would likely not come back because of the food.
