Seafood Pasta Purses
Little pasta purses filled with fontina cheese and prosciutto topped with shrimp, crabmeat, scallops and shiitake mushrooms in a creamy vodka sauce
We eat at Cafe Antonio at least once a month. Our waitress is always friendly, professional and helpful when un decided which entree to order. I also have a gluten allergy and they are very diligent in accommodating my choices. My husband had veal st James and said the veal was tender and the brandy cream sauce was light not over bearing. I had the chef Chris grilled salmon, the salmon was very light not over cooked and the sauce was a very light garlic cream sauce and very good. The noise level at times can be very loud so conversation can be hard at times, that being said I highly recommend Cafe Antonio.
Two of us had the seafood pasta special which was very good. One friend had prime rib which was really tough - and it wasn't just the fact that she ordered it well done, the meat itself seemed tough. We observed a person at another table sawing his prime rib also.
Blown away with service. During on-line reservation, I noted a birthday celebration and they remembered and even sang! Food was great. (Get the salmon shrimp crab concoction!) My kid finished a meal. What’s that tell you? We will be back again and again.
Always good food and reasonable prices. Try the Veal Antonio.
Always a fantastic meal and great service!
We were seated right away; BUT...we had to wait 20 minutes for a server. This is after I went to the hostess stand and told them that no one had been to our table. They apologized but I feel they should have given us a free drink or something (they didn't). The food and drinks were amazing though. Very loud in the bar area (but it is the bar area). We didn't mind but just in case you are looking for somewhere quieter, sit in the dining area.
Tonight’s meal was excellent as usual. The blackened scallops were awesome. Imperial stuff shrimp were out of this world. Our service was terrific as always!
Good food and great service. It's a busy resturaunt so the noise level is high.
Me and my husband had dinner on a Friday night. The place was very busy but we still had great service. The food was wonderful. It is a little too noisy we do like it to be a little bit quieter. But we will be back.
First, our server Ryan, was awesome. Great smile - welcoming personality - a great start to any dining experience. The food was excellent. It was a Friday during Lenten season, so Maryellen and I both had seafood dishes. Mare went with the crabcake, and I chose the stuffed shrimp. Both selections were spot on. A good wine selection and beer selection. We split a cannoli for desert that was delicious! We will tag this spot as a local preference since it is less than 10 minutes from home! NOTE: Small parking lot, so be prepared to be creative with your parking!
Nice friendly place with a quiet and busy separate sections. Sports tv on all over the bar area. Food and service was good, prices reasonable but portions tended to be on the small side.
The first time back since they built a bar. Looked forward to checking out the restaurant. We ordered a lemon drop martini . It came out in a glass the size of a rock glass. It was slightly more then half filled. Mentioned it to the server. Nothing was done. We also ordered 2 espresso martinis. They were good but in a glass slightly smaller then a rock glass. I think we paid 12.00 each. The soup was excellent. I ordered veal parm. The veal was thinner the a sheet of paper. I was totally disappointed.
Great time spent with friends enriched by the food & attentive service
Had a nice lunch, food was excellent.
We had the eggplant parmesan sandwich and sausage and peppers sandwich, both excellent, love their homemade bread and chips.
Bar offers wide selection of draft and bottled beers.
Service could have been quicker.
I recommend the Rigatoni Vodka, it was very good. The calamari appetizer is also a winner.
Service and wait staff was very good. Overall, nice and relaxing atmosphere.
Try the chef’s salmon with crab meat & baby shrimp... delicious!!!
Joyce was an EXCELLENT SERVER and went out of her way to provide a wonderful dining experience for us. We always love Cafe Antonio - their specials are always fabulous - and tonight was no exception! It was a great dinner with great service! Thank you!!!
Acoustics are not conducive to quiet conversation. Food and service was very good.
It’s quiet and comfortable. Food is deliciously homemade! Quality Italian cuisine that is local and relaxed feel. We especially enjoyed their caprese app, spinach ravioli AND Tiramisu! They have daily specials that are superb! Ambience is almost romantic and dim lighting. We are now more frequent of Antonio and will continue to suggest to friends and family!
Server was friendly. No clams available on the menu? Nice neighborhood place.
It was our first time dining here in a long while. The food and drink was excellent.
Wonderful food, was a great night out with amazing specials!
The food was very good our server Kelsey was excellent
we liked the food very much, but the services lacking. When we arrived early for our reservation but we were seated quickly. We had to wait about 20 minutes before a waitress. came to our table. There seemed to be confusion about who was supposed to have our table. One waitress did step up and offer to take our order but the service was slow and we were ignored by almost every one. I have been to Cafe Antonio for several years for New Years eve this was first time I was disappointed
My husband and I had 5:30 reservations, but arrived at the restaurant about 5:05 p.m. - We were seated right away. At that time there were only about 4 tables that were occupied, so it wasn't crowded. The waiter came over [ I was very upset, because he had a bad cold, which I was not happy about at all and should not be waiting on people, etc., but of course I didn't say anything] Thought this was so inappropriate too!!!!!
He brought us the shrimp bisque, which was only luke warm, but again, we did not say anything.
When it came to the time of 6:00 p.m., we asked him was there a problem with our meal, since we still have not received the meals. He said that salmon takes a long time to cook???? This is not so, because I cook salmon quite frequently. He said he would ask what was going on the 2nd time we asked about our food. HE NEVER GOT BACK TO US. Now it is 6:20 p.m. - no sign of the food or waiter, we left $5.00 to cover the soup and walked out.!!!! We have been going out to restaurants for 42 years and this is the very 1st time we walked out of a restaurant.
Love this place. The food and the service are #1.
The food and service was excellent.
Food here is fantastic. I have written great reviews of this place as it has always been the best. But the service this time was so terribly slow and lacking. It was very crowded tonight but we waited so long for even a drink order then for salads and dinner also. We ordered a second round of drinks which never came but were on the bill. They were taken off but that too took so much time as we waited longer and longer. We were a table of two and sure looked like other tables had much better service. Since the food is so good and service has never been a problem in the past will give this place another try.
For my birthday. Food came out at good pace- we had lobster, veal, chicken and ravioli- all excellent. Presentation and temperature of food great. We enjoyed 2 pitchers of sangria- refreshing! Always a solid choice for any special occasion❤️
I had the seafood with pesto and homemade pasta. Delicious!
Outstanding! We've been several times, but this was the first time since they've added the bar. Service is 5 star, ambiance is always excellent. And food is scrumptious and reasonably priced. My husband had the steak special and he said it was the best he ever had! Highly recommend this restaurant!!
The Food and service was excellent. We did not have to wait for a seat as our reservation time was honored.
Food was excellent as well as the service. Loved the ambiance.
Food and service was great, as always.
As usual we had a wonderful time; however, the night we dined there was also an unusually crowded night. There was a show at the local playhouse, and everyone, it seems, was dining at Cafe Antonio. I don't think the wait staff could keep up with everyone. But...all in all it was good.
Service was prompt and efficient. Food, as always, was great! Never had a bad meal at Cafe Antonio!
Food was delicious and served in a timely manner, which is amazing considering it was Morrisville Restaurant Week and the place was packed. The server and chef knew exactly how to handle my gluten allergy, which was another plus. Food here over the years ( yes, years) has been consistently good and keeps us coming back for more. All 4 of us ordered a different meal and we were all delighted with our choices. We’ll be back again!
Restaurant week. Crowded and service was unusually slow. Meal good as always. Prices reasonable. Wish it was still BYOB.
Great experience! Delicious food, super waitress. We would definitely go back
