We went to Cafe Amalfi based on the menu on OpenTable and that it had a 4 star rating. When we arrived the menu was nothing like the menu we saw on OpenTable. When we asked the waiter he snickered and said oh we haven’t update the online menu. The picture of the restaurant is how it was originally. They still have the same tables only they are very aged. The appetizer we ordered was bruschetta. It was only three toasts and was terrible. When we received our meals (Chicken Saltimbocca and steak tips with ravioli) the chicken dish was tough and not edible the steak tips were mediocre. After taking a bite of the chicken I sent it back. The reason I gave service a fair rating is they took off the cost of my meal. But the price tag for the appetizer, one meal and two glasses of wine was $90! We were on vacation in Myrtle Beach and if we go back to the area we would never consider this restaurant! In fact if I could give zero stars I would.

Excellent meals, I had a filet mignon cooked to perfection. My husband’s meal, salmon stuffed with crabmeat was the best he’s had he said. Our server, George, was awesome.

I did not feel welcomed! From the front door all the way to the back where the cafe is located i saw people looking at me like i didnt belong there. When i was seated the waiter provided the same response. As an african amercian i would never return and will not recommend this venue

Our waiter George was phenomenal. We come often and always ask for him. He provides impeccable service with his great attention to detail! Be sure to ask for George; he will not disappoint. The food is always delicious and presented very well! You can’t beat overlooking the ocean while dining. We love our experiences at this restaurant and hotel!!! Five stars for sure! Thank you to the entire staff!

We absolutely loved our experience. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary and the staff couldn't have been more fantastic. They reserved a special table for us with a fantastic view and provided extremely special touches throughout the meal to make it unforgettable!

Cafe Amalfi located in the Hiton at Kingston Plantation, Myrtle Beach is a lovely restaurant with great views of the ocean and good food. A bit pricey, but the staff and service are great. The chef comes up with interesting flavor profiles and we always enjoy what's new on the menu. Highly recommend.

Didn’t realize this was in the Hilton. Even more surprised was that the Hilton “experience” desk had no idea of the restaurant. (Eye roll) Mark was a personable and prompt server. I enjoyed a cup of seafood chowder. Small cup but tasty. I enjoyed the salmon dish of the day. Grilled salmon cooked perfectly topped with what I’d call a crab stuffing. The fish sat on a large serving of greens tossed in a dressing I’d never had. Lemoncelo vinaigrette. Light and delicious. Mark said the tiramisu was delicious and it’s one of my faves. Don’t bother! It was horrible. The lady fingers were not soaked and the Italian cream had to be made with cool whip. Mark was gracious and didn’t charge me. Overall a delicious and satisfying dinner.

Our server was awesome, the arugula salad was fabulous, The shrimp scampi was good, the shrimps were huge, and had sautéed spinach and artichoke, which was excellent, but needed more scampi sauce, the penne à la vodka, per my sister,m in law, needed improvement. It wasn’t that good. They brought out plenty of Italian bread and it was delicious.

We arrived at noon and were seated right away at our table with a ocean view, our server took our drink then food order moments after we were seated. We enjoyed sandwiches and s burger done to perfection, we plan to have a meal at Cafe Amalfi again the next time we’re in Myrtle Beach.

The atmosphere at Amalfi is quiet, upscale, and the service is great. Mark was our server and he's very professional. If you want to get away from the hub-bub, this is your place. We'll be staying at the Hilton on our next trip. Seems to cater to adults.

As usual the dinner out at Cafe Almalfi was the best. Our waiter George always goes out of his way to make every visit special. The food was extremely good and relaxing with the ocean view is always pleasant. Can't say enough for this experience.

We've partipated in the Amalfi Cafe holiday buffets in the past. The food has always been quite good, but I must say that, in my opinion and that of my wife, the food wasn't up to previous standards. I'm a fan of roast leg of lamb but felt it lacked flavor. The prime rib was okay. My wife had a chicken entree and felt it was mediocre. Lastly, the dessert selection was just "okay" consisting mostly of finger food type items. Although we left only partially satisfied, we'll probably go back another time and see if this visit was perhaps an exception to their normal good food.

3 of our 4 meals were wonderful. Sadly mine was not. I am not exaggerating when I say my chicken was practically burnt. It should never left the kitchen let alone be served. I should have sent it back but that’s not something I would do. Our waitress was wonderful and it’s a beautiful venue.
