Cafe 501 - Edmond
As always, the food was great and the services was very good.
Excellent flavors. Very good service. Strong coffee
The pancake special was incredible! The veggie omelet was the best I have ever had. Veggies were so fresh. The bacon was cooked crispy to perfection. The tropical tea is the best tea in town. The service could not have been better. Amazing meal.
Went on a Sunday morning for brunch. Our reservation was for 9:30 so we beat the big crowd. We tried the loaded crispy potatoes. Heaven!!! We also had the quiche and the chiliquiles. Both very good. Service was wonderful. Highly recommend.
We have eaten there three time and all three times the food and service was outstanding. Great food at really good prices.
The food and the service are always above board! It's a warm and inviting restaraunt and the desserts are fabulous!
Food was great but it
Very loud. Food was good. Service average.
We have been to 501 a number of times and enjoyed it very much. This is the first time that I can honestly say we were extremely disappointed. We came for a special occasion and informed the waiter about it. We even indicated that within Open Table. There was no mention about it, the service was poor and given that it was relatively quiet (hardly any customers) we expected a different outcome.
Very nice dinner atmosphere. The meal was great and the bread pudding dessert was fabulous.
Food was excellent.
Great service and food! It was a quiet evening in 501, but that's expected in football season! Love the cocktails, food, and we had excellent service! Highly recommend.
It was a delightful brunch -- yummy food, pleasant environment. good value.
We sat in the back room and there were too many tables Several large groups and we were placed in between them. Was not a pleasant experience and could not visit.
This is the second time in the last six months that I’ve had dinner there and the food was just OK. Cafe (01 has long been my go-to for lunch and dinner. I’m going to give it a break for a while and look elsewhere.
Good evening, I want to apologize for your experience this week. We take pride in every plate that goes out and are truly sorry that we did not live up to our expectations. I would love an opportunity to speak more about your visit to get more information. Please feel free to call me at your convenience (405-359-1501). Thank you, Victoria B.
Very good experience. Amazing food. Will be back.
Thank you for your five star review! We are glad you had a wonderful experience!
Always good, have gone there since it opened.
Thank you for your review! Please let me know if we can do anything to make your experience better!
Out of quiche & cinnamon rolls on a Sunday ☹️
Aside from the 15 minute wait past our scheduled reservation time everything was great. The same thing happened to us at another Edmond restaurant two weeks ago. In both instances we were told the party holding the table had paid their check but were not leaving. I can understand not wanting to offend customers but isn’t that what is happening to the waiting party?
Food was wonderful as always, as was the service! Try the cinnamon roll at brunch, delicious!
Usually love 501, but tonight they were off. Our server was sweet, but not the most attentive. Our food took a really long time to come out, probably about 25 minutes. For a Friday night , there wasn’t that many patrons, which is unusual. Didn’t receive the usual bread service. Maybe they’ve taken that away, not sure, but I didn’t ask. Our food tasted good. Overall, just lacked the normal energy.
My husband birthday.
Such a great place and the service and food were spot on!! will diff be back!!!
Wonderful Saturday night dinner. Everything was delicious from the drinks to the food. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. When she wasn't 100% on a gluten free question the manager quickly came over to answer. This is a nice place for a cozy, yet casual, date night.
No one took our drink order or brought water for a long time. I think the server was new. She was pleasant and helpful with menu options but not familiar enough. Food was excellent! Ordered a second glass of wine which took forever. No offer of dessert because the ticket came and staff was clearly ready to go home by 9:00. NOT a place to go unless you’re ready to call it early.
My kids treated me to brunch
The food is excellent. Our service wasn't very good. We were there around 5:00 on Saturday and they weren't busy at all, but our server was not very engaged. I think we were her only table but our drinks remained empty for 5+ minutes before she would come refill them. I had to go find her to ask for a to-go container for our dessert. Everyone in our party of 4 noticed her inattentiveness.
We'll go back, as this issue isn't indicative of the restaurant as a whole.
First time there
Service was good
But food was very average, not restaurant value. Got there at 6:30 on Friday and Chicken fried steak already out
Family of four, no one was satisfied
Not too sure that we want to try again
I made a reservation for six through open table. When I arrived and mentioned the reservation I was told they don’t take reservations. That was awkward, but they were nice about it, and there was plenty of seating. I ordered a sandwich which was supposed to have been on focaccia bread, but was on French bread instead. It wasn’t until later that I remembered it was supposed to have been on focaccia, so I didn’t say anything to them about it.
It was typically priced for a lunch menu, and the food was typical in flavor. It was fine, not remarkable. There was nothing to complain about, but also nothing to rave about, either.
Sway was our server and she was wonderful! The food was great.
Your chief Wingate recommended 501 and sparrows. Ill be coming back again. This was my first for me and my wife. We came up for our anniversary.
Good Sunday after church lunch.
I have always enjoyed Cafe 501 and think the food is consistently good.
Our visit tonight was disappointing. Our reservation was not taken accurately and our seating request was ignored. Our server took our order inaccurately and several dishes were delayed or forgotten. We were rushed with our wine because they "needed" or glasses. They were also anxious to clear our table and removed parts we were not finished with.
The quality of the food was good but the staff this Saturday night was very disappointing.
The bananas foster French toast was delicious
The noise level was a little bit crazy.
A very nice, quiet dinner. Good service and good food.
So love Sunday brunch at 501. Nice to have a small but upscale spot to take family.
Easter brunch was delicious!
Great Sunday Brunch at 9:45 am. Lexi was our server very nice!
The food and service was wonderful. I had the Bolognese Pasta which was spot on perfect!!
The food was fantastic! Those old school desk chairs aren’t very comfortable though.
