   Staff were very pleasant. Waited for almost an hour for starter - had to ask as so delayed, we ordered pate with toast and tempura king prawns both mediocre. Main courses came out very quickly afterwards. We ordered Tower of aubergine and also Lemon & cherry tomato steamed Scottish halibut - aubergine just tasted of vinegar (not good) and halibut very bland and sautés potatoes soft and mushy - both again disappointing. Garlic bread was lovely. The manageress was very nice, when she asked if we enjoyed our meal and took a few items off our bill. Very disappointed overall - maybe the chef was off on a Monday evening!

   We took our daughter for her birthday and as she is coeliac she asked what was suitable for her on the menu and much to her delight was told she could have almost everything that was on it to see her so relaxed having what she wanted was lovely to see. All in all we all had a fantastic night with the best tastiest food and cocktails. The place is spotlessly clean with a great ambiance and atmosphere. Onto the staff what can I say they are all a huge credit to Norman and his management team, they are hands down the friendliest and most attentive staff I have come across in a restaurant they also have a laugh with you which is so nice even with the management it’s so nice to see genuinely happy staff. Keep up the great work guys and see you all again soon. Yes I would definitely recommend you eat/drink here all freely made to order also

   Amazing service, amazing value with the early bird meal. Reasonable wine and cocktail prices. The Holly House special hotpot was so tasty but needed more potatoes or bread to soak up the gravy.

   Absolutely the best service and the meal was delicious, they made my favourite cocktail that wasn’t nt on the menu. We were very impressed and will certainly be going back a visit
