Saturday 5:00pm-10:00pm BAR OPEN LATE
love all of it ,food service, atmosphere, décor.
the owners visit to the tables and the musician makes the experience valuable.
We really love eating at Cadot. The food is delicious, the service is fantastic and the atmosphere is wonderful. We always get the soufflé for dessert because it’s to delicious not to get.
Went for Restaurant Week but will definitely go again for the good food and the excellent service.
If you love French food , then there is none better in Dallas!! Cadot is excellent!!
A beautiful and charming restaurant to enjoy a birthday day dinner. Food was delicious and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. Loved the accordion musician who performs Friday and Saturday nights to help transport you to a Parisian cafe.
The waiter (Paul) made the evening perfect. He was professional, funny and made the best recommendations for entree choices! Will ask for him the next time we dine there.
Cadet is our favorite restaurant. It is a bit of a drive so we don't go there as often. This restaurant has professional wait staff, most of whom have been there for years. They give good, reliable advice about food & wine. This was a table of 6 people who are all "foodies". Some ordered off of the RESTAURANT WEEK menu, some off the regular menu. We were all happy with our choice. So no matter what you order, you will always be happy with the preparation and presentation. The ambience is romantic and serene, so it's perfect for a special occasion or a group of friends who want to actually carry on a conversation (getting hard to find in restaurants today). We are even treated to a live performance of a traveling accordionist. The bar is spacious and inviting for a more casual approach to the evening. At Cadot you are treated to something that is really special, where the staff and management take their mission seriously. Although the restaurant has an elevated feel to it, it is located in a shopping center. Most people dress somewhat more elegantly than at other restaurants priced about the same.
Really enjoyed our lunch. Friendly staff, wonderful food and atmosphere. It was a pleasure to visit with Chef Cadot.
Food was amazing! Our waiter was friendly, attentive and made great wine and food recommendations. Highly recommend. We'll be back soon!
Great food, great atmosphere, and always a good time. The food is so good you'll be using the free bread to soak up any sauce left on the plate!
The updated menu at Cadot offers some old favorites and a few new dishes. I had the salmon crusted with potatoes and my friend had the beef steak with potatoes and green beans. Both dishes were ample for lunch and totally delicious. Gonna have to make this a regular stop.
Great place for food and conversation.
Great restaurant for neighborhood.Dover sole was outstanding
Too loud with the accordion music - it made conversation much too difficult.
We enjoyed our lunch but were sitting at a table with the leaves folded under and it was very uncomfortable. Could not cross our legs. I kept having to wave someone down to refill my iced tea. Probably will not return for a while.
Open table did not notify restaurant of wife's birthday, or restaurant didn't get the note.
As always Cadot is superb. It is one of our favorite restaurants in Dallas. My wife and I have eaten quite a few meals in France and we both think Cadot is comparable with anyplace we have eaten there. And it doesn't involve any international travel. Bring your desire for good French food but leave your passport at home.
We went for Bastille Day. Special menu was just OK, so we went with day's special. That was a better decision. Plenty of people celebrating and live accordion always tops the experience.
Superb as always. Favorite place in DFW. The watermelon Salas is incredible.
The food and service was excellent. It will cost you a pretty penny, though, but it's worth it, for the occasional splurging.
We had a wonderful dinner with family at Cadot’s! So much delicious food and great ambiance!
Excellent food and service!
Food took so long to deliver we had to take it home in a box
This is one of those restaurants that you can actually have a conversation in without screamimg. Kudos for all of the noise baffling features. The seared fois gras was crisp on the outside nut only 3 tiny bites worth for $18? Poached pears & field greens were nice & helped add to the volume of the plate. Bibb lettuce salad was lovely. Sweetbreads were plentiful, but grossly overcooked, rendering them very tough. Think the Sangria reduction sauce with the fois gras was a better match for the sweet breads than the overly sweet & mushroom-filled Madiera demi-glace. The spaghetti squash accompaniment was unmemorable, but the straw potatoes were wonderful and plentiful. The Flounder was flavorful and well cooked, but one quite small filet, with a small sprig of broccolini. The Citrus Chardonnay sauce with beets tasted nice, but beets only seemed to add color making the sauce pink. The Beignets, Cafe du Monde worthy, were heavenly pillows accompanied by the three souffle sauces, raspberry, chocolate and grand marnier. An excellent and light end to our meal.
Wonderful meal for our anniversary! Scallops and Shrimp with pasta were deliciously prepared. Bone in Steak special was cooked just right with blue cheese and spinach. The souffle and tart for dessert were fabulous and our server made a delightful selection for our after dinner coffees.
Disappointing for an anniversary dinner - or any other dinner for that matter. The waiter was way over-attentive and yet didn't get our order correct; the food was average, except for the crab cake which was outstanding. The Short Ribs had no spark to them and the duck was undercooked, only warm and very stringy. The Portfiteroles were hard for a puff pastry. We expected more since we had eaten here a few times before.
The final kicker was the waiter offering us a glass of Champagne to celebrate (sounding like a gesture of the house) and finding it on the bill for $65 at the end of the evening. To many good restaurants in the area to keep this one on our list.
Chef Jean Marie Cadot is an amazing person and Chef. The staff took so much care and attention on our table. The kitchen staff put a lot of love in the food. The muscles and souffles were absolutely perfect! Chef Cadot showed his kitchen to us, and it was spotless clean and organized. He loves taking care of his people and it shows.
Wow!!!! We had never been here before, but it got great reviews and was so close we took my mama there for her birthday. It was perfect! Our waiter Joshua was stellar! You simply can not find people like him! The food was amazing! Mother and I had the crab cake with risotto it was nothing but crab. So often there is so much filler you can hardly find the crab, this was nothing but Crab. The risotto was a creamy delight! My son had the goat cheese gnocchi in a balsamic vinegar reduction sauce. It smelled devine and he said it was the best gnocchi he's ever had. But the best part was the dessert. Our sweet waiter Joshua made sure we had champagne to toast the birthday, then he brought us the dessert and coffee, and what a dessert it was literally melt-in-your mouth beignets! I've eaten allot of beignets but these were the best I've ever had! Thank you Joshua and Cadot for the best Birthday lunch ever!!!!
Thank you, Benjamin B, for your exquisite service!
Always good food
Seemed to be short on service staff. Waiter overstretched, several request overlooked. Need someone to check on diners . Wont go back on week ends.
First time visit. Excellent in all respects. Will frequent often. Highly recommend.
Lovely, as always!
Always five star in food and service.
We've dined at Cadot a number of times but were disappointed on this visit. Service was hurried and "cool" since we did not order wine by the bottle...the 3 of us had different entrees and opted for wine by the glass which our waiter viewed as an imposition on his time. The food was good but not great and did not justify the price (2 fish entrees and one red meat entrée).
Dessert souffle was outstanding
This is one of our favorite restaurants. The staff is attentive and the food is outstanding.
Excellent service and very quick lunch that was delicious ! Will be back
Mothers Day, very busy everywhere so harder to judge.
Service was very slow with long gaps between courses. Waiter said the kitchen was backed up but the restaurant wasn’t too busy with many open tables. Souflee ordered was forgotten and never served. Waiter said that was his fault as he forgot. Vladimir was fantastic who plays the accordion to any song you want to hear.
