It was a great place to dine prior to seeing a show at the Detroit Opera Theater. The pasta primavera was interesting and very tasty.

Our service was great, we had a group of 7 and we were accommodated. We ordered our food, and it came our extremely fast. We had a great waiter, James gave us great service. We had an awesome time, the ambience was calm. The manager came around to make sure that everyone's dining experience was on point. It was great customer serivce all the way around. I have absolutely no negative comments.

Located in the Detroit Opera House, so park once and you're there. We went for lunch. Somewhat limited menu, but what we had was tasty and just right for lunch. Reasonable pricing.

I never realized this place existed. My wife & I went here for dinner prior to a show at the Opera House. For starters I had a shrimp cocktail while my wife had a cup of cream of broccoli soup - Both very good choices. For our main entrees I ordered the salmon and my wife the chicken. Again both very good. For dessert my wife had a piece of chocolate cake. Great experience.

The salmon dish was just spectacular. It is rare to find a chef in Michigan that can cook salmon to perfection and boy oh boy it was absolutely perfect! Would definitely go again to enjoy the food - FYI the salted caramel cheesecake was sinful!

it is wonderful to be able to go to a New York in feeling restaurant right in the opera house and then be able to go on inside for the performance. AJ did a fine job waiting on us again - enthusiastic and able.

We were pleased with being able to navigate the motorized wheel chair to our table without incident.
The lamb shank was tender... sautéed in a delicious sauce.. however, the turkey sandwich was a bit soggy to taste...perhaps
to over saturated with salad dressing.
Service was slow but we got our food order before the start of the theatre show, giving us enough time to eat
in a relaxing environment.
We enjoyed the ambiance, chatter of customers, easy access to the theatre from the café,
and friendly professional waiters.

Given that this restaurant is at the Opera House, I had higher expectations. The ambience was more of an upscale pub than I expected. It's a small place, so it seemed that they only staff a few servers. Though our waiter was busy and a bit slow to attend to us, the service was still good, and all of the staff was pleasant. They work together to take care of the customers, which helped the quality of service. The food, however, was very average. My daughters food was hot, but mine came out lukewarm - unaccounted for difference in prep timing, perhaps?

All in all, next time we see a show, we'll be visiting one of the restaurants nearby instead. I wouldn't suggest this one for anything but it's convenience of being in the Opera House.

I was pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent! A little on the expensive side but I expected that due to the location. We shared the shrimp cocktail, shrimp Caesar salad and lobster mac & cheese. After we had the death by chocolate and salted caramel cheesecake that was to die for!

We will definitely be returning for our next show :)

Great place to start off our night at the Theatre. Nice atmosphere, very good food, excellent service, with reasonable pricing.
Limited menu, but something for all tastes (the broasted chicken was great...).

And, you walk right into the Theatre without having to go back outside! Nice on a cold night.

I very recently dined at The Cadillac Cafe. I booked reservations online, very easy and convenient. The restaurant itself, first the decor was art deco, and the service excellent. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. I liked the European portions not giant sized like so many other restaurants. The price was moderate. So very convenient as we went to The Nutcracker after our dinner. A wonderful dining experience..

My wife and I took our granddaughter to see a show at the Opera House and decided to do dinner beforehand. It was a great experience. The waitstaff was exceptionally courteous and the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and unique. The food was very flavorful, although the portions were a bit small. The drinks were quite good, although $10 for a mixed drink was a bit pricey. We especially enjoyed having our dessert ready for us at our table during the intermission of the show--this was a fantastic feature. Overall, we'd certainly do this again.

Being located inside the Detroit Opera House couldn't make this restaurant a more convenient place to have a bite to eat before a performance. The food is moderately priced and moderately good. The place, itself, is pleasant and overlooks an interesting street scene which includes Comerica Park, lots of fun during baseball season since Comerica is the home of the Detroit Tigers.

Every time I have eaten there recently I a stuck in a bad location. I have asked for a table by the window, and after being put in an undesirable location see others who are also two diners put by the window. I have reserved in plenty of time and think I will start going to another restaurant in the Opera House area where I might get a more desirable seat.

The foo and service were very good.
