Cabo Wabo Cantina Las Vegas
Sammy Hagar’s hard rockin’ dining and live music venue combines the laid-back beach-town vibe of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with the excitement of the Las Vegas Strip. Blending coastal Mexican and Tex Mex cuisine, the menu offers a tantalizing mix of flavorful food, killer margaritas and an awesome venue where it is never uncommon to catch the Red Rocker himself jamming out with a live set on stage. Cabo Wabo Cantina opens daily at 8 a.m.

Great food. A little cramped with 4 of us at a table (it was a 4 top but more like a bar table than a dinning table). Considering we made reservations for essentially “bar seating” I wasn’t real excited about the spot they put us. Service was, okay, not great. The food was good.
Always a pleasure when I come to Vegas. I have been to this spot 8 times in the past two years. Travel for the east coast. My go to for late night food straight from a long flight.
Extremely pricey; small bowl of Caso dip was $10; ridiculous. Hurricane lemonades were $40 for four...ridiculous, even tho you keep the glass..not worth $40. So loud you could barely hear anyone speak...we had a table of ten guests. I realize Cantinas are usually loud, but this was crazy. I will say the service was great; our waitress was all over it!
Food ok...have better Mexican restaurants in Denver....shrimp tacos were full of greens/shredded something, not sure...too much! Chicken tacos great..nice spice to them. Fajitas good....bean burritos rather marginal.
Our waiter was amazing! The steak tacos were so good!!
One of my favorite places to eat when I visit Vegas. The view is awesome. You can see the water show if you get the right spot or people watch. The food and music are fantastic as well.
Got a seat on the patio. There was an excellent DJ and the people watching was amazing.
Food was fresh and delivered quickly. Drinks were tasty and strong.
Prices are a bit higher than your average taco stand
Food is not worth the price. Food is not worth the price.
It was fair. Uncomfortable chairs..and pretty cheap decor. But some cool pics of Sammy.
Super slow food and check times. Over hour for food and 20 min for check
Fab venue great music and food
We were recommended this place on the strip by a family member! We sat outside and got a nice view of the strip at night. We got a pitcher of margaritas which was a steep $50. It seemed that there was very little alcohol in them. But the food was great! I loved my quesadilla!
Fantastic food! Great service and great location! Would definitely recommend
Had the fajitas, margaritas, chips with guacamole. Food was great. Lively and fun!!! Always a stop when in Vegas.
Service was very poor, our server didnt listen when we placed our order and we consistently had to re-ask for things. She was slow arriving at our table from the beginning even though there was very little customers. Disappointed for sure
We were visiting from Ohio during a very chilly week in Vegas. They treated us well on the patio as well as inside at dinner!
Loved Cabo Wabo! Food was great and the service was even better. The noise level was a little loud-just like we like it! The big screens made it easy to watch a college basketball game while we ate.
It was so cold in this restaurant it made for an incredibly unenjoyable experience.
Loud environment, better off going to another restaurant for food. Very pricey
Queso was awful ... Lettuce in tostado salad was brown ... chicken tacos were good ...
WC margarita is excellent. Cold outside so there was a draft on inside.
It's a cafeteria, not a fan
Loved it - fast, relaxed, casual and tasty!
Exceptional for tequila and beer. Food was good - not great but good. We had outstanding service and the place is fun, but expect just standard Mexican food.
I personally wouldn't go back. After all the high ratings...it really wasn't worth it. We spent $150.00 on literally nothing. The chicken tortilla soup was a 1/5. Probably the weirdest tasting chicken tortilla soup ever. I got my burrito Enchilada style...The enchilada sauce was so dark and it tasted burnt. They also give that sauce with quesadilla and someone else at table said it made their quesadilla taste bad. The chips with queso the queso was grainy like it was powdered cheese mix and we all swore we tasted bleu cheese in the queso mix. Overall I wouldn't come back and for the prices they are charging for their dishes...they need to re work some of those recipes. I've worked in Arizona where you get a lot of Tex-Mex and I can't get over how bad that enchilada sauce was.
Overall good experience. Had to relocate as we were in front of door that was opened frequently and there was cold breeze. Server was great as were the margaritas!
Place was freezing. Food mediocre for price. Great Margarita. Service meh. Big issue was so cold (Feb)
Not sure if this was a bad day when we went but we waited a long time for service. Once the young man did come over and take our order he did excellent but we had waited a long time. It was so long other diners even noticed it. Food was good as normal. I would still recommend this place just hope you don’t wait for service as long as we did.
For a Mexican place the margaritas were not good at all
This place was outstanding!!! So glad we decided to go
We hosted a large party, and the wait staff was exceptional!
Yearly trip to Vegas, never fails to serve us well! Laura this year was our server that made it great!
Fabouls food, great service, one of the best deals on the strip!
We had a great time watching the NFL Playoffs here. Food was very good and the service was top notch.
Fun atmosphere and great place to watch football game!
Vacation dinner was fun, clean
We liked the food and had a very nice server.
However....when we got the bill, this restaurant adds a hidden fee called ‘CNF’ that amounts to like 4.7% of your total. This is IN ADDITION TO your food cost and tax. I went online after to figure out what this was, and learned this is specific to just a couple restaurants in Vegas like Cabo Wabo and amounts to nothing more than a hidden fee. This has apparently ticked off several others, too. I’m sure this was buried on the bottom of the menu somewhere, but I just find this to be a shady business practice. Who would even think a restaurant would do this? It’s like a hidden resort fee for a restaurant. I would not reward this greed with your business.
Good food and nice location.
Amazing Mexican food.
Average food. In addition to tax, they add a 4.5% Concession and Franchisee Fee (CNF) to every check. What does this buy you? Nothing. Complained to our waitress and she tried to tell us it’s a “resort fee” and that “all the restaurants charge it.” Sneaky and wrong. Majority of places both inside Planet Hollywood and out that don’t charge a CNF. Won’t be going back and would suggest others do the same. And if you’re wondering... they do list at the bottom of the menu that they charge the fee... in super small, legal disclaimer font. Manager should be embarrassed. Do yourself a favor and head to Nacho Daddy instead. Same mall/resort, better food and no shady fees.
La reservación se había cancelado pero nos atendieron de maravilla
