Cabezon is a bustling neighborhood seafood bistro and fish market. Opened in December 2009,
Cabezon is located near both Portland’s Hollywood and Rose City Park neighborhoods. Offering
“Coastal Cuisine with Passion” – elemental seasonal cooking driven by the offerings of the day
from local producers and the bounty of the Pacific Northwest. Owners, Chef David Farrell and
wine maven Jackie Speck, look forward to delighting you with their unique menu, and invite you
to stop by for our local wood-fired fish and meats, chef made pates, and seasonal ice creams.
Our diverse wine list features small hands-on producers.

This was our first time here and we will be back. This is a neighborhood gem that is lively and energetic. The seafood dishes were well crafted and tasty. The servers are timely, helpful and knowledgeable. Our server Norman was wonderful. Prices are about average for a nice meal.

For the quality and expensive ingredients, the end dishes were just so-so. The king cod was beautifully prepared but the vege underneath were undercooked and purée not seasoned enough. Foie gras was beautifully paired with grapefruit and arugula but was rubbery. My husband’s lamb was the toughest piece of lamb we have encountered and he’s from New Zealand. He sawed through it with a steak knife and the olives were too salty with it. Great neighborhood place with nice vibe. The food and service disappoint.

We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the size, and of course the food. I would love to see what culinary magic can be made with one more option for a seafood entree. The food is supreme.

Delicious food and great service. The fish was cooked just right and with lots of favor and complex favor surrounding it. We'll definitely go back.

Even having a reservation we had to wait for aprox 40min to get a table in the new year's eve. Which was not a problem at all because we enjoyed couple drinks at the bar. The food is delicious, every bite it's full of flavors!

We had a reservation and were seated without much of a wait on New Year's Eve. Waitstaff was quite knowledgeable and service was good. They don't "split" checks which was a surprise. It would have been nice for them to check if we wanted more coffee after dessert. I was surprised we were able to park so close to the restaurant.
