Received less food potions than normal. I don’t know if that pandemic or not.
bad table service was not up to its standard which is usually very good. Prime was cold and very grisly. Put in corner table I should have I wait for a better table
Although, on Mother's Day, everyone had to get up and get their own food, waiters could not keep water and ice tea glasses full. Also, plates were stacking up on the edge of the table and we would have to ask a waiter to remove them.
Congratulations! to the staff of Cabernet Steakhouse for a wonderful Mother's Day Brunch. I am always hesitant to reserve buffet-style because the stations can be unkempt or empty or overdue for replacement/re-fill. Cabernet did a fantastic job. The stations were beautifully presented with fresh foods; the staff were eager to serve and friendly, as well as professional. The variety of foods - breakfast vs lunch - was amazing. Even my picky-eater son filled up on French toast, brie, macaroni & cheese, and chocolate cake. What more can a mother want for Mother's Day than to see her son eat so well! Thank You!
The food was not good at all fir the price and the service was terrible! I am so disappointed this is how I spent my Mother’s Day dinner out.
Great service and really good food prepared to perfection.
Food & service were outstanding. Drinks were great. No complaints whatsoever! Would highly recommend Cabernet for their great steaks & awesome sides.
Loved our experience at Cabernet! Service, food, atmosphere were all outstanding! One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Awesome fried lobster appetizer and escargot. Jason, the general manager, checked on us multiple times. Will definitely return! Thank you for making my birthday special!
Great attention to details without being too visible.
Service was excellent, food delicious. Only drawback is the cigar smoke. Fortunately, we were early diners and able to sit in the far back. Once in the back, we were able to enjoy our dinner.
Steaks were overcooked and much smaller than advertised. The wait staff was friendly but not very attentive. Much better alternatives in the Alpharetta/Roswell area (Little Alley's, Pampas Steakhouse)... Expected a better experience for the $$$$ tag. We won't be going back.
We enjoyed the meal and the feeling of 4 Star.
We celebrated our 25th anniversary here and it was wonderful!
Overall, my wife and I had an outstanding time and a terrific meal. The server was super attentive and took great care of us. My only minor knock is that the bar doubles as a cigar bar, so getting drinks in advance is not a thing. We also noticed that the hint of cigar smoke does occasionally permeate out into the main dining area, so you do get that. Otherwise, the food was great, and despite some higher-priced restaurants getting by on name alone and not giving good food and good portions, Cabernet felt like we got good value after all. I recommend this place for a nice night out.
food was great, so many choices. Grouper and lobster dish were perfect.
Salads excellent and prices reasonable.
The place was incredibly nice. Food was very good and the service was amazing
This is my all-time favorite restaurant. We live 2 hours away and I try to come twice a year.
Food was amazing and staff was very attentive and soot on. Love the atmosphere and definitely will be back
Food and service were great, but when you pay $100 per person for a meal you don’t expect to sit in a booth where the vinyl seats are cracked, crumbling.
Always great !
The good super quiet (no music). Maybe it's better on the weekend with music & a bigger crowd. We'd seen a tv special on this restaurant that presented a lively environment, but that what not at all what we experienced in person. One other issue is that a manager brought me a second glass of rose' without my ordering it. I assumed it was complimentary, for our anniversary (noted in our reservation but never acknowledged), but we were charged for both glasses. Ha! There are many better options in the Alpharetta/Roswell area, and you'll likely leave with a heavier wallet, as well.
Hands down brilliant Dirty Gin Martini! Shaken just right so that small shavings of ice floated in the glass. Blue cheese stuffed olives were perfect and overstuffed so some of the blue cheese clouded the gin.
Everything was great until the very end. They had issues with card payments. One card I had to swipe four times. It showed taken out my account, but they didn’t show on their batch report. So I had to then pay with another card which worked fine.
I still haven’t got this issue resolved or my funds refunded. They say it happens often. Not good.
Thanks Veo and Ricardo!
Great food and service!
This was one of the BEST dining experiences. The food was scrumptious and the service impeccable. My husband and I are anxious to dine here again in the future!
We went for our Anniversary dinner and we could not have chosen a better restaurant. Food was amazing from start to finish. The Fried Lobster Platter is a must have with baked sweet potato. Dessert was amazing as well, we had Chocolate Gnash and Key Lime Pie which was exceptionally delicious. Loved the ambiance and service so we will be going back real soon.
Love this place. Phenomenal service, wonderful food, great ambience. Highly recommend
we were seated right at the swinging door for the cigar bar area, it was very distracting and with a blast of cigar smoke every several minutes, extremely disappointing as well as poor judgment to even seat that table. We paid a premium for our meals, and $50 for the prime rib was completely overpriced, we will not return.
Excellent as always
"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."
Because it was Easter, the restaurant was full. A lot of people sat at their tables too long because they were enjoying themselves. The staff did all they could to make our meal enjoyable. Robert, our server, worked very hard to keep food on everyone's table. The food was excellent. We have been customers for a long time and will continue to go there.
Wonderful Easter meal! Food was brought to our table since buffets aren’t allowed now. It was really delicious and plentiful. Our service was wonderful. The only complaint is that our reservation was for 2PM but we weren’t seated until nearly 3.
We dined for Easter lunch this year. They were so busy, but staff seemed to be on point with the logistics and moving people in and out. When we arrived several groups said they'd been waiting 30+ minutes past their reservation times. My mom is handicapped and when I explained that she could not stand to wait (there were no vacant chairs, nor anyone willing to give one up), they hustled and got us seated right away. The kitchen was killing it. So was the server with the bottomless mimosas. The manager was running food. And, all of the food we enjoyed was delicious. Oysters, shrimp, smoked salmon, two kinds of salad, omlette, bacon, tenderloin, ham, and salmon + mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese, sweet potatoes and mixed veggies. A lovely platter of carrot cake, chocolate mousse cake and cheesecake for dessert. There were ample opportunities for them to drop the ball on this holiday when things were starting to feel like normal again, but clearly, they knew that they could do it and executed to the highest level. We look forward to going back for dinner some time soon!
Didn't much care for the Brunch - I know you couldn't have a Buffet which is what we have been to many, many times in the past, but this type of bringing the food to your table didn't work for us. We didn't get enough and I think I already sent a message regarding the dessert. Their were 4 of us and we only received 3 desserts and we were not asked what we wanted, which was stated on the menu that we could choose. Tried to get the waiters attention to bring us more dessert, at least 1 more, but that didn't happen. Also not sure how much the Chardonnay wine cost - as we must have not had a choice on that either - it had to be around $20 a glass because our bill was extreme. Not a very good time...
As always impeccable service and food! Great Easter experience.
I know it was a holiday weekend, but food was sub par for Cabernet. Meats were dry, sides over cooked. They forgot our salads and brought right before desert...we sent them back. Never brought coffee we asked for with dessert. Had to ask for music to be turned down. Waiter kept saying they were trying to recreate the wheel....they failed. For what we paid, it was an overall disappointment. We love Cabernet, but will not go back when they have a holiday menu.
Would still suggest to friends, but never for holiday fixed menu dates.
Went to Sunday Easter Brunch and everything was fantastic . Service was excellent and the food was very good .
Waiter was excellent
very attentive service
Everything was excellent as usual from the food to Raymond. Thanks
