After having dined at Ca Dario many times over the years, we were very disappointed with being limited to a Mother’s Day menu only. Our family has always enjoyed your restaurant. Our youngest son and his girlfriend were in town visiting and we planned for this dinner for sometime. When reservation was made, no mention of a very limited menu was given. Very poorly done for not providing this information at time of reservation. We would have opted for a different day. Bad business decision on your part. Not a kind way to treat faithful customers!

We were a party of 4 celebrating Mothers Day. We arrived early and with reservations and were seated immediately. The food was very good except for the risotto - it was okay but with very little shellfish. The other diners had a variety of delicious pasta dishes. The only complaint is the portions are very small. However, the service was exceptionally good.

Excellent food (both had seafood risotto). Delicious tomato cream sauce, perfectly spiced and subtle enough to compliment but not overwhelm the seafood. Wonderful tiramisu. Classic urban Italian trattoria style decor, business casual, convenient location one block off of state. Attentive service, never hurried. Nice enough for an occasion but casual enough for after sight seeing.

Our service for a table of four was worse that awful. Not timely, not correct orders, needed to call waiter to get service, took twenty minutes to ask for and receive bill then another 10 minutes to get credit card receipts to sign, bill was incorrect. What more can I say!! Be aware.

We were visiting Santa Barbara and Ca Dario came highly recommended. Our server recommended a salmon, pasta dish for me. It was okay. My husband chose osso buco and liked it. The service was excellent.

The Ca'Dario salad was sufficient for two. It was lightly dressed with generous amounts of Parmesan cheese. As a main I can recommend the swordfish. The bar does an excellent job with my cocktails .

Decent food, service, and ambience. The look of the restaurant was a little below my expectations - it was an old looking and a little run down place. In other words, the restaurant from outside looks like a cheap casual place. Besides that, this is a decent restaurant for a good Italian meal.

We have eaten here before. Yikes! What happened? This was truly a BAD experience! Risotto was awful. Lamb shank worse than that. Wines by the glass overpriced. Service was spotty at best. Was this just a one off night or has this formerly dependable local eatery gone totally downhill? For someone else to decide. We won’t be going back. So unfortunate. Truly a very bad meal and overall experience.

One of our local favorites. The tagliatelle with bolognese is always impeccable. The chicken was beautifully cooked though a little bland compared to the bolognese. Still delicious.

I love this restaurant. Small place, but expansive menu. Tagliatelle Bolognese is among the best we've tasted. Flourless chocolate cake for dessert is excellent. Prompt and friendly service. Only shortcoming is limited offerings in wine by the glass. Pretty picky for a critique.
