Ca' Dario Ristorante
The room was so loud that my date and I could barely hear each other talk. We rushed through dinner to get out of there quickly.
The food was excellent as always.
The food is delicious! And the service is always great.
Nice staff and great food! Relaxed atmosphere with excellent service, my wife and I will enjoy date night here again in the future.
We expected a good meal and we got one. Everyone had pasta. Also a great recommendation on an Italian wine.
Our third time to Ca’Dario in as many years. Consistently delicious and with an authentic Italian charm. A fun and busy little restaurant.
Had the halibut special and the fish was cooked perfectly with an amazing sauce. Not sure what it was but it was declicious
Love the restaurant
Waitstaff was great!!
Special occasion & they let me bring in some min-cupcakes as well!!
Had a great dinner on a Monday evening - was quiet, had Appetizer Pasta and Osso Buco - service was excellent and the food was quite good. it’s a smaller restaurant, so not necessarily a place for big parties, but they do have the room. Recommended.
Arrived for an early dinner on Mother’s Day — only one other table was filled. Seated us right near the entry to the kitchen. Had dishes clanging in my ear the whole time. They need new ventilation. Became very stuffy and smelly once the kitchen started cooking. Food was okay - risotto was undercooked and had maybe three pieces of asparagus in it. Salad was tasteless! Very disappointing.
We had an exquisite lunch for Mother’s Day.
Food was good, service was just okay.
I have always wanted Ca’Dario to reach it’s potential, but sadly it never does. Good food and wines list but the service is so poor, it stands out in a striking way. Tonight, we were greeted and seated with little to no warmth that is a stark difference to the cozy nature of the restaurant. Our waiter continued the basic waiting functions with no interest in our well being.
Santa Barbara has too many good restaurants were food, wine selections and service are all at high levels, so tonight was our last night at Ca’Dario.
Anniversary dinner. Quality of food was outstanding. Service perfectly timed with a wonderful wine offering.
The restaurant is a favorite of locals. A little noisy but food is very good. Service is attentive and knowledgeable. Price for value is fine. Recommend.
Have been there many times. I ordered the rack of lamb and it was so delicious. Can't have garlic or onions and they were able to accommodate my food needs and still make an amazing tasting dish.
We're always glad we chose Ca'Dario! The five of us enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent.
Birthday dinner with my parents who had never been as well as my boyfriend. One of my favorite restaurants in Santa Barbara just went on a very busy night. Only downside was the noise level and the staff was clearly not working well together. But the food as always was amazing!
We've eaten at Ca'Dario in Goleta and thought the food there was a lot better than the downtown location.
Awesome Putanescan sauce.....
The food and service were very good, however the noise level in the front room was very loud. We were not made aware of a quieter back room until we passed it as we exited the restaurant. The tables were situated very close to each other, making it difficult to avoid being bumped as others passed by.
It was just delicious! Best gnocchi I have ever had. This is the real deal
The food was amazing. I had the spinach ravioli in sage butter, OMG.... best ever!
I have enjoyed the food at Ca' Dario on every visit. This time, I had the spinach/ricotta ravioli with brown butter/sage sauce. It was so dreamily delicious—everything perfect: the textures, the aroma, the presentation and most importantly, the amazing flavors.
Every thing was great except it became a little noisy as the place filled up.
The food is okay but a bit tired. Santa Barbara how so much fresh local produce but it was not featured here. The salad looked and tasted like boxed greens and it had a hothouse tomato. The fish special was wild salmon but what I was served was no different than the salmon on their regular menu which is not wild.
wonderful food and good service, but the interior is very noisy
Food was superb and a nice wine list. Ambience was lovely, but the tables between diners was far too tight. Waiters kept bumping into my chair and my guest and I could barely squeeze out without disturbing diners to the right left and behind. But food was excellent!
Wonderful, as it always is @ Ca'Dario - food & service!
The food never disappoints. Love their fish. Nice wine selection. Good service.
We have been customers for many, years and we are never disappointed. Each new thing that
we try on the menu is delicious. Thank you for your fine restaurant
This place is always great. Wonderful food. Super nice staff.
We love Ca'Dario and go here often for date nights...my wive loves the pollo nel coccio and I usually order the Florentine steak with delicious white beans (we almost always order the asparagus to start). The staff is wonderful (we love Claudia but they're all great). SB's best old-line restaurant.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was delicious!
Favorite Italian restaurant in Santa Barbara despite crowded conditions and deafening noise.
Waitress was poor and seemed disinterested. Never brought my wine order until I asked for it again and then she brought the wrong order. She was very dismissive and clearly not happy. When the check came, she gave us 3 candies except we had 5 at the table.
A must! Rack of lamb was amazing along with the clams & muscles appetizer.
OUTSTANDING RESTAURANT ! FOOD,SERVICE AND AND AMBIENCE ALL GREAT.
Always a good reliable meal. Noise is a problem, wish they could do something about that, its hard to hear across the table.
The food is always delicious. The ravioli is my favorite. The big issue is that it is an uncomfortable restaurant. The chairs are awful and my mom had such a bad back ache after eating there, she didn't sleep all night. It seems they could invest in a more comfortable set up.
