About Ca' Dario Pizzeria
Steps away from chef Dario Furlati's flagship eatery, Ca Dario Pizzeria has a warm yet urban feel, with an extensive wine list and domestic and Italian beers on tap. The authentic, thin crust pizzas feature both unique and traditional toppings, such as the Soffione con Uovo (dandelion greens, local farm egg), Rossa Picante (fresno chilies, calabrese, tomato) and Napoletana (tomato, anchovies, capers); all pizzas are available with gluten free crust. The menu also features a selection of simple and fresh salads, salami plates, and crostini. Located in the heart of downtown, it's the perfect cozy spot for a meal before or after a show at one of Santa Barbara's many idilic entertainment venues.

Ca' Dario Pizzeria Ratings and Reviews
There was a parade downtown and the restaurant was not prepared with enough staff (2 people to wait all tables and run the bar). I felt terrible for the couple of servers that were there... the food was good but the management needs to do a better job preparing for busy times.
It's always a little crowded and a little loud at Ca'Dario Pizzeria, but also always worth the effort to squeeze in! Ask for one of the tables in the front window so you can watch people passing by on the street; these are also out of the main restaurant traffic flow and a little less loud. The food is just incredible. We had three pizzas and each was uniquely flavored, well baked, and tasty. The service was attentive and consistent despite the restaurant being packed. All around a great night!
I ate at the regular restaurant not at the pizzeria. I was very disappointed with the spaghetti and the Margarita. Very over rated. Maybe I hit a bad night but for the $95.00 with tip not worth chancing again.
Cold bread with olive oil........
Being locals we’ve been to Ca’Dario quite a few times and love it. So, that being said, we thought we better try the Pizzeria they opened next door. We made Open Table reservations for a Friday night meeting up with some friends after work, reserving a table in the front window. The reviews had been good, and here we were. We started off with the Bruschetta while waiting for our friends. Good thing, because it only comes with two pieces. The Bruschetta was good, but was lacking a bit of flavor. Maybe needing more basil? Or Salt & Pepper? We’ve had better. The salad we ordered was fantastic! It was a wedge salad with pancetta, and the dressing was light (not overdone). I can’t rave about this enough. This was the best wedge salad my husband and I have ever had. For the pizza, we ordered the Prosciuttocotto Pizza. It was amazing! The crust was light, it was cooked to perfection. So, two out of three for our order was fantastic. The background noise was a bit much for my husband (he wears hearing aides). No, we are not old! We will return, and by all means we will recommend!
Everything was just right, once again! Loved the pizzas, one with a veggie substitution for chicken, fresh yummy salads and a tasty Pinot!
In a perfect world, Ca' Dario pizza would be there...but minus the TV. Really excited to learn of the upcoming expansion of Ca' Dario, both the restaurant and pizzeria to Goleta...woohoo!!
Unpretentious with delicious pizza. We didn't have to wait for our table and we were treated well by the staff. Yummy flavor combos and extras like chili oil and garlic oil. Nice local beer and wine choices. We will be back to try the other pizzas for sure.
Very disappointed! We always look forward to visiting Santa Barbara and include dining at Ca'Dario, but the food quality was wayyyyyyyyyy off the usual and our service was also not up to par. There are so many choices in S.B. - I don't want to waste a dining experience for an inexcusable mediocrity.
Wow, sooo pleased to finally try this newest pizza spot and we have returned a couple of times already. Delicious pizza and salads (haven't tried the entrees yet), and superb service. It's an attractive addition to their full restaurant just down the street, tiny yet charming. They graciously accommodate changes for vegetarians, too!
The best pizza ever! Thin crust and yummy! The atmosphere at 6:30 on a weeknight was good..very noisy however, and the tables are a bit crowded together. I was not able to lean back in my chair because of the person in back of me leaning back. But the pizza is first rate, and our server, who was overworked, was very sweet.
we went with a gift card that we were given as a Christmas Gift for CaDario Restaurant and they would not accept it because the pizzeria is not the same restaurant - that information should be printed on the back of the card as it is assumed that both establishments are under the same management.
Arrive early for a quiet table, and don't miss the Napoletana pizza. Service was good if a bit uncoordinated as the restaurant filled up (though it erred on the side of over-attentive - never a bad thing). The food was five star throughout. The beer and wine list was limited but well-curated. Looking forward to our next visit!
I love Ca'Dario Pizzeria. The menu is fairly simple -- appetizers, salads and pizza -- but the choices are excellent and the pizza fantastic. With one vegetarian member of our family, we are always able to find enough choices to suit everyone. The restaurant is small which gives it a very intimate, neighborhood feel. The wait staff are friendly and professional. It's our go to place to either eat in or carry out. We always enjoy our time there.
My wife and I were pleasantly surprised. Having visited here a couple of years ago when they opened we were not impressed at that time. Things are changed and for the better. The food, service and pricing were all positives, and we will be frequent visitors. How nice!
Pretty good pizzas, but wine WAY overpriced. Stick with the beer. My wife wanted the special pizza that was on the outside chalkboard, and that our server told us about. But then she was told that was YESTERDAY'S special and not available. Come on, get it together. Very loud. I can't really ding the place because the pizza was good, but can't give a strong recommendation, either.
Overall shockingly rude and inhospitable. On the road, we logged in to OT and made a 2:30pm reservation. We were in great moods, wrapping up the final leg of a mini vacation. Walked in to an empty restaurant. "Greeted" with this: "Are you the two-thirty?" Normally I am a human patron but in this case was willing to accept my new assignment. "We close at 2:30. I don't know how you made a reservation. We'll stay open for you but for future reference...". Sure took the wind right out of our sails! Bartender guy tried to turn down the hostility meter by offering the pizza menu in their other restaurant on the corner. We decided to shake off the punch in the face and dine elsewhere. "Next time..."? How presumptuous.
