Our first time here, the pork chop was so tender I could cut it with a fork. Delious! The ambiance was wonderful and we enjoyed ourselves. We will return.
Service, atmosphere, and the food were all excellent.,
Great meal. Service top notch. Would come back next trip
Ready to go back
Every time I've eaten a meal at Ca Bianca everything on my plate has been wonderful. I don't eat red meat often anymore, I save it for eating out and their steak did not disappoint. It was very tender and the sauce was so good I wish I could get a bottle of it to take home! The tiramisu was perfect. The old stately house with it's high ceilings and elaborate molding was beautiful and romantic. It was very quiet when we arrived at 6:00pm, it began to fill up and get a bit noisy by 6:45pm. It was loud but tolerable. It is a perfect place for a romantic evening.
Great Italian food, great pasta, fair price, excellent service. Have been many times and they are very consistent. Taken family there in the past and they were recently in town and requested we go back!
Perfect for a birthday dinner!
I'm Italian and I cook. This place is in the top 5 Italian restaurants I've ever been to. Fantastic food!
We had dinner on a Wednesday evening. The Beef Carpaccio starter was very good. The owner helped with our wine selection and served it but never returned to pour more or ask our opinion about it. We saw him talking with other customers and even sitting down with a couple next to us. Very disappointing. The service was good but our server failed to continue to pour wine for us. The Gamberi (prawns in brandy sauce) and the Linguine and Clams were delicious.
The meal was great. The service was good but not great. The ambiance was pretty good until some groups came in, then they tried to talk loud enough to be heard over others, and got progressively louder.
We were seated promptly in the main dining room, set with crisp linens and flowers. Our server was amiable and professional. The prosciutto and burrata appetizer was plenty for two. Each of us had pasta, a carbonara and a special of the day that included shrimp and asparagus . Both very good. Large portions. I did feel that the meal was a bit hurried, but we enjoyed it and will return.
We have managed to drive past Ca Bianca for years but never stopped. When we did we were impressed. The maitre'd was friendly and, though we were early, found us a table within 10 minutes. The service was efficient and friendly but did not impose itself into the meal or conversation. The food was excellent. A great find.
Dinner was delicious, and the service was wonderful.
It's always good with wonderful ambience but I think the quality has slipped a bit the last two times I have been there. I think the vegetables are not cooked to perfection anymore. I Had sword fish and was disappointed with the sauce. Previously the fish always had a wonderful lemon sauce and now it's a different sauce which is not as flavorful. It's still one of my most favorite restaurants and the service is excellent. It's quiet too.
Great older house converted to a restaurant with tables spaced for private conversations surrounded by a lovely garden in the middle of the city. Fantastic professional wait staff, wonderful Italian food, separate bar area, private parking, incredibly reasonable prices. We have been here several times and enjoyed it every time. It takes us 4 hours to get here, but if we are in the area, we always try to eat here! It is always a special meal!
Celebrated my father’s 99th birthday
Ok place to go. Maybe expected a bit more from restaurant Zagat description/rating. Long waits on food with explanation after we had to ask that they had two private parties hit the kitchen just ahead of us. Asked for owner who was the Italian wine expert, per our waiter, to help us with a wine selection. He never showed and waiter finally helped with what turned out to be a bad selection and he never volunteered to either change or get owner over and we are Vintners.
We loved having Peter as a waiter! Everything on the menu was wonderful. Service was great. Wonderful for great parties!
Dining area like eating t home. Great food and service. I definitely would return to try more dishes.
The service was awesome by all of the staff. We were there with our son, daughter-in-law and 17 month grandson. All of the staff engaged with him. The waiter was sure to get his order in so his food was there quickly.
The food was fabulous!!! Loved the BREAD!
We will definitely be back!
This is one of our favorite place to go!
Both my kids includes this as their first choice for dinners!
I recently enjoyed a solo lunch on the front porch overlooking the garden in bloom. My server, Lorraine , was friendly without being overpowering. I started with an Aperol that reminded me of Italy. The avocado/tomato salad was fresh and I felt healthier already. Then the pasta Bolognese was just as it should be! All in all I enjoyed myself and will be back, bringing friends!
First time dinning there. Food was terrific. The staff were attentive. Sonoma County Restaurant Week.
One of our favorites in Santa Rosa. It is lovely and refined. It is not a red sauce joint. It is in a lovely old Victorian home. Never disappoints us.
Enjoyed birthday dinner w/an old friend and the mushroom ravioli was amazing. Appetizers, dessert and service - meh.
The family enjoyed this lovely house and its antiques. The ambiance is fun and the food is excellent. We celebrated my daughter's birthday and it was also restaurant week. Everything was done perfectly. The pastas are excellent and my fish was delicious. Others had Osso Bucco and it was delicious as well. Great place, good wine list and we just keep coming back for more!
Love Ca'Bianca! Every dish I've had has been over the top delicious, nothing beats homemade pasta!
Superb authentic food! Excellent service and quiet enjoyable atmosphere all the makings for a memorable time!! No wonder why it's been around for 3 + decades - DELICIOUS.
The food was wonderful, the people were attentive and engaging. We truly enjoyed ourselves.
Ca Bianca is our favorite restaurant in Sonoma County (that is a BOLD statement). My wife and I go here maybe about once a year or so, either for our anniversary, birthday, or special date night. This year we decided to go for Valentines Day (we celebrated on Saturday). This restaurant is so consistently awesome. The food is exquisite and the service is on point. They bring your meals out in the perfect amount of time for each course. The servers there are true professionals. Between the food and the service, they really execute the entire package perfectly.
One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been too.... Thanks for the great food and service.
Valentine’s Day was extra special here. Excellent service!
Excellent food and service. The wait staff was very patient and receptive to any question we had. I highly recommend this restaurant
Great Food, Great Service in a unique romantic setting!
Excellent food, service and atmosphere.
Ca'Bianca is a must stop for us when dining in Santa Rosa. The good is always good and made with fresh ingredients. Authentic Italian food in Sonoma county.
The wait staff was absolutley the best: attentive but not too present. I had a gluten free pasta which was to die for (which is unusual for gluten free pasta).
We'd give it 5 stars all the way but for one problem. The veal chop was large and looked impressive but it was also quite fatty, gristly and therefore rather tough. Too much waste and poor texture for what should be a great piece of meat. They did not charge for the entrée after the feedback which was appreciated and appropriate for a quality place. Otherwise, the sole special, the salad, dessert and overall service were all wonderful. It was our first visit and we'll go back. Just bad luck that time.
Asked for a quiet romantic table for 2. People who arrived after us were waited on before us. I told them it was a birthday celebration and it wasn’t acknowledged.
Food was good. Pricing at the top of the scale and in my opinion service should compare to the price. Table was not anything special.
We had reservations for Sunday, Feb 4. The service was erratic. We had to ask for bottled water 3 times and we had to ask for silverware twice to replace the dirty silver on finished courses.
It was bizarre. They weren't paying attention! Good service means that your waiter or busboy notices that he needs to replace silverware before the next course arrives. I really hope that the management see this review as some of their employees need more training. And then to finish off the evening, they made a mistake on our bill and had to charge us more. Really, really unprofessional service and I won't be recommending to friends or hundreds of co-workers.
