Savannah Spirits Chop House is located in the heart of Savannah's National Historic Landmark District in historical buildings which have been fully restored from antiquity to a 1920's/1930's décor. We feature prime and dry aged steaks and fresh seafood, most of which are finished on our 6 ft custom made wood fired grill. We are a true scratch kitchen with everything made in-house, including our homemade delicious rolls and the ice cream which accompanies some of our wonderful homemade desserts. We have several private room options, one which includes a separate roof-top terrace. We also have two full service bars, with one being a very cozy high end whiskey bar located on our second floor. And like most buildings in Savannah's Historic District, we have more than one type of "spirits" in the building. There is nothing else like our restaurant in Savannah!More
The oldest city in the state of Georgia, Savannah has a rich historical past that draws tourists all year. Visitors and locals alike can enjoy the rich cuisine tradition highlighted at local restaurants and eateries. Being on the Georgia coast, seafood is definitely on most menus in the Savannah area, whether they are fine dining establishments or casual fish shacks. Shrimp and grits is an option that's always on the menu. Savannah is definitely a Southern town with chicken and dumplings, fried chicken, and pecan pie being common fare. Barbecue definitely makes its own statement, with pulled pork and Brunswick stew on the menus. Of course, all-American food holds its own with steaks and burgers.
