Enjoyed celebrating a friend’s birthday. Steak and chicken entrees were excellent. Mussels were also great. Chef made a special vegetarian quinoa with vegetables and miso sauce for me and it was delicious. Great service, friendly staff, and lovely building in downtown. MoreOpenTable Diner -
We enjoyed the Sunday Brunch. The food was outstanding, they cure (smoke) & cut their own very thick sliced bacon. I don't believe I've ever had any bacon that approaches the flavor and taste of their "home made" bacon. Rob knows his food, preparation, service and with the beautiful setting, serves up a wonderful dining experience. The focus on local and regional cuisine expertly prepared enhances the experience. I've never had a better breakfast (Sunday Brunch) in my life and I have enjoyed excellent southern food for 70 years. MoreOpenTable Diner -

World-class Alabama restaurants astonish travelers and delight locals with favorite foods and unusual surroundings. Meals are served family-style and so are the rolls. Try restaurants highlighting Southern staples like crawfish eggrolls or seafood gumbo. Whether you choose to eat in a cave, restaurant, or springhouse, you will find Southern fried chicken and mustard greens for local flavor. Also, don’t skip the homemade pickles, fried catfish, and specially prepared grits served with Southern hospitality. Being the cultural melting pot that it is, Alabama is also a great place to find international favorites like pizza, sushi, and even Mexican-American classics like burritos and enchiladas.
