No signs of slowing down: a survey revealed 42% of diners said they would be more interested in (or doing more) experiential dining in 2025 vs. 2024.**
The most popular kinds of dining experiences diners are interested in trying in 2025 include: tasting menus (38%), dinner and a show (34%), bottomless brunch (29%), special deals/promotional offers (28%), and themed dining experiences (16%). **
Why wait for the weekend? Mid-week dining is on the rise, with Wednesday emerging as the biggest trending dining day, perhaps due to hybrid or remote working schedules.

Wednesday saw the largest increase* (+11%) in seated diners compared to any other day of the week, year-over-year.

OpenTable data* reveals group dining is up 8% year-over-year, with 10am and 6pm seeing the highest increase year-over-year (+11%).
