Before the James Beard Award and the Gourmet Magazine review, Lotus of Siam was a small little hole in the wall located in Commercial Center in Las Vegas. November 1999 was the month Chef Saipin and her husband Bill took over Lotus of Siam. Since then, Thai food became an adventure for those willing to step out of their comfort zones for Asian Cuisine. Chef Saipin’s distinct cooking has been passed down from generation to generation, from both her grandmothers and her husband’s grandmothers. Her northern style cooking has opened America into the “Northern” world of Thailand, away from the Bangkok style of sweet and tang. The northern menu consists of hearty herbs and spices, along with Thai style stews and coconut-less curries. Through her set menus, our guests can dine and enjoy recipes from over 100 years in the Chutima family.

In 1976, the Sand Dollar Blues Bar opened its doors, and almost instantly became one of Las Vegas’ most iconic bars. Some of the greatest blues legends, as well as many other famous musicians graced the stage for over 30 years. People like Muddy Waters, B.B. King, and even Mick Jagger would swing into the Sand Dollar when they were in Vegas.
In 2007, the Sand Dollar closed it’s doors, but the ghosts in the bar would not die. It was resurrected in 2009, the spirit of live music in Las Vegas unwilling to fade away.
Honoring the tradition and history of the iconic Las Vegas venue, it is now The Sand Dollar Lounge.

Aces and Ales is a classic gastro-pub style restaurant that offers the people of Las Vegas more than 100 beer choices. As a connoisseur of beer, the restaurant now also offers comfort food carefully paired with vintage malts, tequila and scotch. The restaurant has a lovely ambience due to its walls covered with lots of TVs and the beer flowing non-stop.
Aces and Ales offer two menus: One for its vintage beers and second for breakfast and dinner. Food at Aces and Ales is considered as ploughman�s man lunch, which includes salads and sandwiches. The restaurant also serves pizzas, burgers and soups. Some of its popular tap selections are Samuel Adam�s Utopias, Stone Brewing�s Southern Charred and its Belgian beers. The restaurant hosts various events, beer fest and trivia nights at least once a week, where new beers are introduced.
