   We took my sister and Brother in law to the extravaganza to celebrate their 60th birthday. They were so impressed by everything that they plan to bring their family to the next one.

   Chicken curry disappointing , runny sauce , sparse chicken . Naan undercooked and soggy and more like pitta bread than naan. I complained and was brought a replacement but by then I’d almost finished my meal. Waitress was indifferent. We were looking forward to our meal but it turned out to be a big disappointment

   Very enjoyable Saturday having the Easter afternoon tea, upgraded to include the hot options of sausage roll, Scotch egg and quiche. Outstanding service from the young server, all staff were very efficient and friendly despite it being super busy. It’s a great place!

   Service was very slow, there was only 3 waiting staff that I could see and they were so busy, would expect better on a bank holiday weekend. First time I’ve experienced anything other than a first class experience here.

   Most of the food was ofputting to say the least. We had ok starters but the mains were not good. The fish platter (we thought this would be good as we were not far from the coast) was inedible, with most of it being fried. The green salad was just overpowered by the dressing. The pizza was good & the ox liver was fine. The service was slow, which probably had something to do with being downstairs, but the repulsive seafood platter was taken off our bill which made it redeemable.

   Beautiful place that kept the original ironmonger work shop feature from 400 yrs plus ago. The staff is super friendly and the food was delicious and very big portions.

    We all had different brunch options, everyone really enjoyed the food. It was beautifully cooked and presented and arrived pretty quickly. Two of us could only manage half of our meal so we asked for doggie bags, unfortunately there wasn’t anything to take this away in which was a waste of food.
