We have dined at Byblos many times over the years, and have always been delighted. The hummus is the best anywhere, the kabobs sublime.

This was the first time we’d taken our celiac niece and her nut-allergic son. I called beforehand to confirm it was safe. It was. Both dined very happily indeed. The pita was not a possible conveyance for the pita for our niece, but the requested cucumber slices made a good substitute.

Have been to Byblos many times over the years, and this visit was quite lovely. The food is always good, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the entertainment is good for the occasional take. Because the menu is pretty similar in style, it's not a place I enjoy going to more than once in a while. There are plenty of choices, but for me, the kebabs and the appetizers are my
"go to" and would be boring for me if I went frequently.
We had a very nice bottle of French pinot noir wine, too.
All our guest, including vegetarian and vegan had several choices, which is nice.

Hadn't been there in awhile and clearly I had forgotten how good it was! Went for Valentine's day (with my Mother-In-Law) and were quickly graciously greeted by what seemed like the owner. Quiet, classic old school atmosphere perfect for conversation. Decorations for the holiday and get this - the owner came around and presented red carnations to all the women. Good apps (can't miss with the grilled halloumi cheese), generous portions of delicious entrees that feel authentic and cooked with pride. Dessert never stood a chance. Saw a few families feasting on sampler and family style meals. A great choice and I'll be back.

Byblos is a great hidden gem in downtown Norwood.
I never would have thought to go in there, had it not been on OpenTable.

I've driven by it a hundred times and never thought about going in.

So glad I did!
Outstanding food, service, and ambience!

Had the stuffed cabbage rolls, hummus, and falafel. Soooo good!

Definitely going back again for more!!!

The food was excellent. Wonderful tastes and cooked perfectly. Thank you.

There was a large party in the main room, but the host sat us in as comfortable a place as possible.

A great find and my wife and I are excited about bring our friends to Byblos! We live in Cambridge, so Norwood is a hike and someplace we never think of hitting - but we were at an outlet store on Route 1 nearby. As the outlet closed, I was on Yelp looking for nearby dinner choices - and something nice to continue our 30th wedding anniversary celebrations. Lots of places close at 9:30, but Byblos is open until 11, and it said there was a chance they'd have live music. Boy, did they!

If you are into Mediterranean food, this place is the real deal. Beautiful decor representing Phoenicean art and culture. There were two spacious halls adjoined by 3 - 4 double door archways; one held a small dias with a musician playing regional music non-stop, including obviously some favorites by those in-the-know! White tablecloths and red linen napkins set the tone.

We had the Byblos platter which had a typical assortment of hummus, babaganoosh, cheese filled filo, and meat pie appetizers. We also shared the special spiced eggplant dish with rice. For two people, this was an enormous amount of food - we took home enough for a third person. ALL of it was amazingly spiced and delicious. The capstone however was the fresh made falafels on the Byblos platter - we actually stopped the waiter to praise them! I have never had falafel so light, and moist!! Wonderful.
Norwood is now on our map!

We get to this restaurant every few months. Authentic Lebanese menu. We generally let them fill the table with different dishes. The tabbouleh and fatoush were great this time, not to say everything else wan't good as well. Good, knowledgeable wait staff.

Byblos was our introduction to the cuisine of Lebanon. Though the menu has many offerings which can be found in Greek Restaurants, the spice profile has more depth and much more robust. The best value in Byblos is the family platter for 2. My wife and I love the #2 platter. The portions are huge and we always have plenty to take with us. Maurice is a great host and will stop by each each table to make sure everything is perfect. It is a nice touch and makes you feel like you are a guest in someone's home. Don't be afraid to try the Lebanese wines as they compliment the grilled meats very well.

The food was really good and the service was good except for the drinks. We were served warm prosecco and were not offered the cocktail list until we asked for it. The cocktails were excellent but should have been offered when we first sat down. The entertainment was cancelled perhaps due to the weather but we were not told this ahead of time. They did allow us to dance in the room next door so we made our own entertainment which was fun!

Excellent service and good food choices. Lunchtime is rather quiet but prefer that to an overly noisy venue.

Our first visit. Easy parking. Nice dining room with live entertainment that didn't interfere with our ability to have a conversation. We ordered Family Platter #2, which brought nice starters, a great salad, and a wonderful array of protein over rice. Our waiter was attentive/helpful without hovering.

Byblos never disappoints. The food is always delicious especially the kabob and salads. The portions are also very generous. There is live music and entertainment with belly dancers which make it a memorable uncommon experience even for people who are not from Lebanon or the Middle East.
