Byblos, by far, has the best middle eastern food. It is excellent. Super nice owner and staff.
Great food and the ambience and energy was a delight! The restaurant was very busy, and rightly so. Service was slower than expected of a fine dining establishment. My son fell asleep on my lap before we were able to finish dinner. Hope to come back on a less busy night and give it another try.
Good food, busy Saturday night do a bit of a wait. But gracious host and service. Really s nice evening.
Everything was delicious, the service was fantastic. We didn’t feel rushed. It was superb service.
Delicious food and a very efficient and friendly staff. We would definitely go there again.
I am very disappointed because we drove for 1 hour to reach the restaurant, and i did reservation before and I waited for 20 minute to get my table and on the top of everything the food was so bad abd uncooked very well we stayed for 40 minutes and left because the singer has a bad voice and we ordered food when wecome back home and the funny thing the waitress does not speak to his manager when we complain about the food .
Our waiter could have been more friendly and energetic. It seemed like an effort to have him help us. However, the food was excellent and that will be the reason why we go back.
This was a party of 8.
The food was wonderful. The waiter shared valuanle tips. The music was deafening, and the band took no breaks during the entire time. We'll go again at a different hour.
The food is always excellent and the service is very professional. We always enjoy dining here.
Excellent food! The portions are generous, and the service was wonderful! We will be back again, soon!
excellent, all around. Leftovers so tasty the next day. You never disappoint...year after year!!
Authentic Lebanese food. Large portions, great Arak ( grape anise liquor) including raw beef kibbe nayye. If you are in a group, get a platter to sample many different classic dishes. Friendly attentive staff. Rose water rice pudding amazing
A great variety of Lebanese food--try a few different things! We shared an appetizer sampler, salad (with a delicate and flavorful house dressing), and a kebab plate. Flavorful and cooked perfectly! We had reservations for 6 and were seated quickly. It is just a quick 4-5 minute walk to the Norwood Theater so it's perfect before a show. We will certainly be back
Authentic Lebanese cuisine that tastes home made. The food in always excellent, and your host Maurice is attentive, polite, and ready to make your meal there memorable.
I had made reservations on the Open Table. We did have to wait awhile for our table, which I didn't understand, since the restaurant wasn't that crowded.
Finally, I went up to the hostess and asked about our reservation, which she looked up and then seated us immediately.
I also got up and asked for a menu and then to place our order.
Other than that, food was delicious. We were a party of six and throughly enjoyed the food and certainly the belly dancing.
The most delicious food. Fresh nicely presented. Very consistent Always good service. Very friendly
This was our second visit for a casual Saturday night dinner. The Lebanese food was outstanding--best falafels I've ever had and generous quantities. There is live music and a talented bell-dancer so it can get a little loud for intimate conversation. Our waiter was working hard and was extremely busy with a couple of large, "high maintenance" tables, so it took him longer than we would have liked to give us our bill. The owner checks in with every table to see how his customers are doing--Great restaurant!
This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is excellent and consistently good. From the food (Family platter #2, the Sambousik, Sfiha and Hummus with spiced beef and toasted pine nuts appetizers) to the entertainment (Mitchell Kalsounis), Byblos hit a home run this particular evening.
Wonderful food and great atmosphere. The music started at 8:30.
It's too easy. This place is very simply the best. We have been going here for years and it is always great - it never misses. We generally get the lamb kabob, but it really doesn't matter what you get as everything is great. The salad we like is the fa tush but since everything is so fresh no doubt all salads are great. And, in the event the impossible should occur and you have a problem of any sort, ask for Maurice. He is the man. Hospitable and knowledgeably, he will do whatever it takes to make things right.
Very fresh and flavorful food. Portions are large so it’s easy to over order. Our group of 7 adults (meat eaters, vegetarians, seafood lovers, vegans) all found delicious options. The lentil/rice/crispy onion speciality was delicious, grilled shrimp excellent, lamb eater loved his kabobs. A large party was celebrating a birthday - seemed a good fit for that!
Very attentive waiter who asissted us in not ordering an appetizer as it may come with the meal. All meals were cooked to perfection.
The food was delicious and the service was very good. We will be back again.
Great find... Excellent meal... the server was friendly, attentive and the entire experience exceeded expectations. I would definitely go back when I am in town.
LOVE Byblos. The food-use of flavors and presentation. All 1st class .
Byblos serves very good Lebanese food in a comfortable setting. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable.
Our family orders the Mezzah extra, and it's a wonderful selection of the entire menu. Several fresh appetizers, hot appetizers followed by selections of meat over rice. It's a lot of food, but well priced and truly delicious, and our choice for celebrations and special occasions.
Spend all you want somewhere else but you will never find better food and a more welcoming place.
Best traditonal Lebanese food I've had in the Boston area.
The service was courteous and fast, which is important when dining with two small children. We had a combo platter which was perfect. Delicious food!!!!
Favorite restaurant. Period. Outstanding Lebanese food. Friendly owners and friendly staff. Very, very authentic. Food is high quality, fresh, and delicious. Just go there.
Have had better meals here mid-week
Our server could not handle the number of tables he had.
Food was great. Loved it! We were there on a Saturday night but was in the front room so we couldn’t see the show. Still fun. I’ll be back
We went there for a Mother’s Day celebration. There was a price fixe menu. The appetizers were good but there were only 2 entree choices available - mixed grill and a chicken nut dish. The chicken on both entries were extremely dry and not well seasoned. Very disappointed about the quality of the food and the limited choices. Have had good dinners there before this was not s good showing for this special day.
We were there for Mother’s Day so there was a special menu. The food was excellent and the service was good. We all agreed that we’d be back to give the full menu a try.
I was seated quickly, right at the time of my reservation. This, in spite of a packed house, with a 45 minute wait. Service was prompt, knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. Food was excellent! Price was extremely reasonable.
Delicious food, polite and attentive wait staff. Comfortable seating and enough room between diners to allow easy conversations. Live musing was getting underway as we were leaving. Quite a nice evening.
One of the best hidden gems in downtown Norwood!
Food, service, and ambiance never disappoint!
Fantastic as always! The food was great, and the live music and amazing bell dancer were a treat indeed.
