What is there to say after so many reviews? We feel safe, and the good and service are exemplary.
Great place with outstanding adherence to COVID-19 laws. Food and service was outstanding.
Highly recommend it this local “ jewel”; the food is amazing!
The salmon was a little fishy, probably because it was frozen, not fresh. However, the lamb kabobs, hummus, and tabbouleh were delicious. The dining room was festive, but our waiter was not very personable. He attended to our needs, but didn’t seem to enjoy his job. The food was pricey, but that was expected. My reservation indicated it was my birthday, but the restaurant didn’t do anything special. To be honest, they didn’t even mention the occasion. So, I celebrated with a delicious jallab! Overall, a good experience.
Food in Byblos is great, tastes like actual Middle East
Food is so amazing here. We loved it and will go back soon! Everyone is extremely friendly and a restaurant has a nice variety of foods. Indoor seating during these times is nice and spaced out also.
We sat outside and they were very helpful keeping us warm with the propane heaters.
Food is SOOOO good...fresh and authentic. I recommend the veggie platter.
Have had better Lebanese food than this. Disappointed. Hummus was not tasty. Lamb was fine but too little, the house salad was better than the tabulé.
As always this restaurant delivers great (not good) food and value. We ate outdoors on a beautiful night and everything went smoothly. The last time we ate there a couple of weeks ago it was chilly but they turned on the heaters and it was comfortable. There is never a question about the quality of the food. The best Middle Eastern food in New England!
It was lovely, delicious and the service was impeccable. We were very comfortable under the outdoor heaters outside on the patio. The COVID-19 rules were being very strictly followed.
Amazing food, friendly staff, great service! Always A +
Delicious food, good dinning atmosphere and good service
Amazing food, everything was so fresh and tasted amazing!
Can’t wait to go back !!!
Coming from a Lebanese family.. I am quite the Lebanese food snob. Unfortunately my relatives never passed on the recipes. This place has the closest tastes and flavors my grandparents ever made for us. Love this place
Fantastic ... food is always good. We always make a stop when home in Massachusetts
We have reviewed Byblos so often now. The food and service are excellent. What is important now is that we feel safe there. The tables are very well-spaced, servers masked, the menu comes up on a smart device from a QR code. Go. Eat. Enjoy.
Our waiter was exceptional, the meal was delivered in a timely fashion and it all tasted delicious.
First time there, great outside dining area. Food and service were very good.
Excellent food. Eating on the patio was a little noisy with the traffic.
Great food and service highly recommend
Byblos Is our favorite Lebanese restaurant in the area, and we were very happy to be able to dine outside. We had a family combination platter that came with all sorts of grilled meats and vegetables, baba ghanouj and hummus. And we also had Salmon, grilled shrimp, and vegetarian kibbee. A great place for us and took Lebanese food.
Celebration of my sisters birthday
The waiter was fantastic as was the food and cocktails.
Dining on the sidewalk in Norwood was a lovely community experience. Our food was excellent.
Sometimes, when a restaurant has been around for a long time, it kinda looses its edge. Not here. The food is outstanding, just as it was on the first day it opened. The owner, Maurice, is the most hospitable host always in view on the floor ready to help and offer assistance in any way he can. This place is, plain and simple, the BEST.
We ate outside so we had street sounds and the ambiance was fine.
We always have great service and good food
The food was delicious and the service was excellent!
Food is always good. Outside is a bit noisy with traffic. Look forward to eating inside again in the future.
The joy of going out to eat again is, by itself, worth a five-star review these days. But we're not talking about just eating. Byblos is eating, but also dining. The food, the service, the food, the welcome, the food. Outdoor seating didn't appeal, but indoors was spotless and we were one of two tables. There is loads of space for many groups to go and still be comfortably apart while filling up on some of the best food in the area. Go. Enjoy.
Always high quality food!!! My husband is lebanese and always enjoys food like his grandma made..
Lovely outdoor dining experience
Food & entertainment excellent. Service was a little slow.
There are three different dining rooms. One of them has an oud player/singer and a belly dancer. The music starts at 7 and the belly dancer comes on at 9. You cannot order from the menu in the “entertainment room” but the sampling option turned out to be pretty good. I’m guessing if you ordered off the menu in the other dining rooms during this time the service would be sketchy but don’t know that for sure. The show itself was quite entertaining.
If it is the food you are after I would avoid that time and go earlier. And definitely make a reservation, at least on the weekend.
The owner is on site all the time and very attentive to his guests and oversees the entire staff.
We go to Byblos a few times a year. The food is phenomenal. Because the cuisine is largely gluten-free, and they absolutely understand cross-contamination issues, we often take visiting celiac family there.
This visit was notable for the quality of service. It’s always good, even very good, but this was exceptional. It was European in touch (table hierarchy observed, which was a treat), and advising our grandson against medium-rare lamb. That was done gently, and with respect (he’s 13, was treated as an adult). We adored the server.
The only negative was just a personal thing with me. Cooking temperatures for chicken and pork have been lowered. Two pieces of my chicken kabob weren’t edible to my taste. They were quickly replaced by the server who said he absolutely understood what I was saying.
Service was quite slow. It took two hours from the time we sat at the table until we had any cooked food.
We are regulars at Byblos. The food is great and the wait staff are attentive and know the menu. It’s a great venue and we’ve never had a bad meal. We highly recommend Byblos. (The falafel is incredible and the specials are always great)
This is our second time back and we did enjoy the food.
So fun and festive. Enjoyed the food, service and music so much. Some guests talked very! loudly in the music dining area at their tables over the music during the performance part of the evening. Borderline disrespectful to the musicians. I found this distracting to my enjoyment of the music and dance that was very high level musicianship. However, We will come again! The dinner service pace is slow and fills the evening.
