   The omelette are not really cooked the appropriate way in order to be considered an omelette, but overall, the food was ok.

   The inside ambiance and decor was very nice, and the service from our server was great! On the other hand, we were not impressed with the food and wish we would have known that coffee and chocolate milk were not included in the buffet price. As for the food, the sushi did not taste fresh, it was sticky and stale. The pancakes were cold, the sausage was not thoroughly cooked on the inside, and the bacon was chewy, not crispy. If I had to decide whether to go back again I would probably not. Disappointed, especially considering we all attended for Mother's Day. Definitely not worth the price.

   We had a lovely meal & experience for their Mother’s Day Brunch. The food items that were offered were: eggs, pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage, biscuits (DELICIOUS), pastas (Jambalaya & Fettuccini Alfredo), shrimp, oysters & mussels. An assortment of fruit & desserts. The hostess, waitress & staff were very kind & helpful. I would highly recommend!!

   BTD needs to figure out a way to seat larger groups away from regular diners. We in the "back" area which has a low ceiling. There was a birthday party of approx 16 people right next to us. They were VERY nice, but also VERY loud. We don't blame them, after all, they were celebrating! We were just trying to have a quiet late lunch. We could not carry on a conversation.

   I have wanted to go to Brunch at By the Docks for quite a while, and today was the day. Overall, I was pleased with the food selections although at our 10 AM arrival time the scrambled eggs weren't terribly warm. I saw the server finally get some lids to put over the trays of food and that should have helped the eggs get warmer for others. I wished for toast or English muffins or regular muffins to eat with my bacon and eggs in addition to the very large biscuits available for the chipped beef gravy and the sausage gravy. What happened to the eggs benedict? Are you saving money somehow by removing most of the white so there was really only a small "frame" around the yolk? We both were amused by that feature. Our bill came to $93 which included the 18% gratuity. Abner was our waiter and he was personable and on-the-ball. I hope he was the one to get the whole 18% . He greeted us and brought coffee (which was an extra charge), explained the omelet process. checked on us several times and brought the bill when requested. My husband appreciated that the bill specifically said "Additional tip" beyond the automatic gratuity so that he didn't make the mistake of tipping beyond the automtatic 18% which he has done by mistake in the past at other restaurants.
