Buttonwood Grill Ratings and Reviews
We went to Peddler's Village for a family trip of 4 adults and our 14mo old daughter. They were SUPER accommodating. I DEF recommend making a reservation, the place was PACKED. Luckily we had a reservation. The food was amazing and they have a great kids menu.
Food was good. Can't take that away from them But the service was slow. Waitress came at the END of the meal to ask if anyone wanted their ice tea refilled. We were with two young children. Children do not like to wait. We brought our own crayons and coloring books. At least, bring the milk or a roll or crackers until their lunch comes which took an inordinate amount of time considering it was NOT crowded.
We had an odd experience. After we ordered our turkey burgers, the waiter came back and informed us that they were out of turkey burgers. We understand that the restaurant had a busy Saturday night, yet one would think that the management would have ordered plenty of turkey paddies for the night. It wasn't the waiter's fault. The food we ended up ordering was good. It's just that we came to the Buttonwood Grill looking forward to ordering turkey burgers, as we've heard that they are outstanding. Next time, we will try making a reservation for lunch instead of dinner.
I love this place, but the menu is so limited,, A shame bc the food is so good,, I love the Salmon Salad,,I get it each time I visit,, But I would love a bigger variety from your wonderful chefs,, Maybe more fish options, vegan and vegetarian options would be wonderful !!!
It is a family friendly atmosphere and menu. It has great seasonal cocktails, a good variety of food choices, including for children. A bit noisy, but all age groups could enjoy. Not a good choice for a romantic date. Very nice inside, great service. Food was very good, well prepared.
Vegetarian Shepherds Pie was amazing. We also requested special seating arrangements as a member of my party was in a wheelchair. They placed us in a separate dining area adjoined to the main area which was wonderful as it gave us room without feeling like we were blocking access to waitstaff or other guests. Food was delicious, the wait staff was very accommodating.
Outdoor seating was perfect. Inside felt a bit like a diner. It wasn't bad, just not what we expected. The decor was outdated. The food was good, upscale pub fare. Drink menu was fun. They have a yummy Canteloupe Cosmo. They have a good selection of beers, too. Highly recommend the Guinness Onion 'N Bacon burger, Grandma Mia Pizza, or the Crabby 3 Cheese Spinach Dip. If you like salads, the Thai Cobb is delicious and filling. Will definitely go back.
