    We have been to Buttonwood several times and always been pleased. Yesterday, however, was a very poor experience and we will not be back. We had a reservation and the restaurant was not crowded. Once seated, it took a server 15 minutes to acknowledge our table. Then we waited another 10 minutes for drinks. Apps also took a very long time to arrive at the table and the food was brought before the apps were finished. The service was horrible and no one checked on us for drinks, etc. between these intervals. We had to take a ketchup bottle from another table because ours was empty and there was not a staff member to be seen. It took forever to get our check. We saw many servers in an alcove on their phones, which may have been the reason for the horrendous waits and the overcooked food that likely sat under the warmers too long. Burgers were requested medium and were delivered dry and crumbly and clearly overcooked. The food was expensive and did not taste good at all. We expressed our concern with the service and were offered nothing to make it right and instead the server ran to the back and looked out at us with the other servers, never returning to the table to collect our payment. We will not be back, as this is an expensive place for burgers and both the service and food quality were unacceptable.

    Nice atmosphere but, our dinners were just ok this time. Calamari and fish was way overcooked and dried out. Maybe we will try again at some point in the future. Visiting Peddlers Village for the day when we stopped in.

    Never a disappointment eating at Buttonwood. Everything is fresh. Good portions. Burgers are the best around! South of Somewhere salad should be their signature salad and is delicious!! We make reservations here every time we are visiting Peders Village!

    We had 8 people in our party and we our table was ready even though we were 20 min early. The food was great! We had the blueberry wings and they were amazing! The burgers and salads were delicious!

    I booked the reservation for my mother 78th birthday. We drove from Lancaster PA and my other family from Philadelphia. We love this restaurant, it's been three years since we dine here. The first place my mom wanted to go is this one. The table given to us was great. We waited 15 more minutes until we had someone take our drinks order. The person that served us the food was wonderful. But the waitress was not so wonderful. She said who needs a refill instead of looking to see that we all needed a refill. I was going to add more to her tip but it was not even worth the 20% I was charged. So sad, because I really loved this restaurant to drive 2 1/2 hours.
