Everything was perfect!
My Linugine with Shrimp and Escarole was terrific. The other diners were moderately satisfied with their Chicken Parmesan dishes (and I don't know what the other dish ordered was). I ordered the Gorgonzola salad and I should have been told that it could have been a main dish for 2 people to share. Four of us could have easily shared it for a salad course. The other couple ordered a Caesar salad to share (it was not as big as the Gorgonzola salad) and the kitchen did not divide it (nor were we asked if they should divide it). It was messy since no additional plates came with it. Also, when we received the receipt for the credit card payment , one credit card was missing. It took our server quite a while to find it. She had to redo the bill since she had put the whole tab on one card. I ordered tea, but the water came way before the tea selection, so it was not hot...nor was I offered a refill which I would have enjoyed.
Food and service is always great there. Management always makes you feel wanted.
Always greats me by name.
Not only the atmosphere is Pleasant. Food is always fantastic with large portions. But our server was the best of the best!!!!
We've been going to the Woodbury Butera's as long as they've been there, and the food is pretty good in my opinion. They used to require a party of six in order to reserve a table, but they've done away with that requirement. We had a 6:30 reservation on Saturday, and we were seated on time. The greeters were all pleasant and efficient even though the area near the front door was chaotic and loud. A few observations: The menu offerings have shrunk a lot over the years, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The noise level - unless you're lucky enough to grab a window seat as we were Saturday evening - is deafening. Really hard to have a normal conversation. The server was efficient and sweet. My wife's linguini with clam sauce was tasty but quite oily. I had Grandma Nona's lasagna, and it was quite dry but tasty. Portion size has also shrunk over the years but are still plenty adequate. They were out of the one dessert my wife wanted. All in all, it's an okay spot. Not fantastic or orgasmic and not awful. Just okay.
Someone made an error and I had to wait for my order while the rest of the table had been served. They did apologize and offer a complimentary glass of wine. I did not think the waitress was especially efficient.
The food was fresh and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant
We had a family gathering where we ordered appetizers, pasta and seafood. We all enjoyed our meals very much.
Food and service good and reliable.
Its been awhile since I have had dinner at Butera's & I dont know why. We were a party of 10, our Server was wonderful, & very attentive. The food was better than I remember. Everyone ordered something different, each entre was well prepared & delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly. Since we were celebrating a birthday, each of us ordered dessert & were not disappointed. We will definitely be going back very soon.
I come from Rockland County, New York. We met with cousins whom we haven't seen in a long time. One couple lives in the Hamptons, the other couple is from Plainview, and the two other couples are from Rockland County. We made a reservation and we were seated right away. The waiter was outstanding. He seemed on top of everything that we requested. Two of the people felt that their food was too salty. One of those two asked to choose a different entrée as a result. Everyone else loved their meals. I was pleased with our visit and would definitely return.
We love this local joint. Food is always fresh, portions are generous and this past Saturday night, the sound level was reasonable (not always). Our request for a specific area to be seated was accommodated, which made it even better.
Our favorite restaurant. Good value, delicious food, honors & keeps reservations .
Service great, the restaurant called us to confirm our reservations and when we arrived we were seated immediately. I liked that. The service was fantastic, our waitress was very attentive and very well trained and professional. My only complaint, is the noise level. We went there on a Saturday night get together with friends, but the noise level was so high, I couldn't hear. This is a big consideration when choosing a restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant anytime other than peak hours for that reason.
Tuna was terrible. Poor quality Dishes are either too salty or have no flavor Won't be doing back
Dinner was amazing!!
Keep up the good work!
The Bier Family!
Butera's is a great place to eat. The food is always good, as is the service. It's almost always crowded, which is the sign of a good restaurant.
Good as always. My absolute favorite, hands down.
We always love Buteras.
The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere. The wait staff was very attentive. I thought the food to be just so, so. The menu is a little pricey, The Duck with Orange sauce was not good at all. Two people at our table ordered it and were disappointed. I had Filet of Sole which was very good.
We always loved the original Massapequa restaurant and since Seaford and Oceanside were not quite the same, thought we would find it here. Not quite. Definitely missing something. Sorry.
Reserved on open table, sat immediately upon arrival. Food arrived timely and it was delicious. The rigatoni with broccoli rabe, chicken meatballs and cannellini beans was outstanding.
Can you get a bad meal at Butera’s? Nope. Everything and I mean everything is always wonderful. Our favorite neighborhood place.
I have been dining at Buteras for quite some time. The food has always been excellent for both lunch and dinner. Service is friendly and attentive. Although there are many tables in the restaurant, it still feels very comfortable. You do not feel like you are on top of other diners. On certain days the restaurant can be noisy. I highly recommend Buteras for any occasion.
I dined Saturday, with my wife and another couple. The restaurant was very busy and they sat us within 5 minutes of my reservation. The service was excellent as was the food. The portions were so large that we all took home food. The only draw back was the sound level. It was difficult to hear each other. We all enjoyed the dining experience and definitely will return. I highly recommend Butera’s.
BUTERA’S has always been one of our favorite restaurants. It’s got its act together.
Our reservation was honored on-time, despite others waiting. Our server knew the menu and made some recommendations. When he wasn’t sure about the beer specials, he promptly brought over a “expert” who described in detail the differences between the two brews. Our dinners were delicious, as they always are. There is a nice choice of salads to start. For our main course, the four of us made varied choices. The pistachio-crusted salmon with leeks and mushrooms was superb. The lasagna special was delicious, as was the shrimp parmigiana. The beef ragout with gluten-free pasta was great. Portions are generally large. This is a rather noisy restaurant when it’s busy...this was a Saturday night. But, diners enjoying good food and drink are happy people, and should be!
Butera's never disappoints. The food and service are very good. It gets kind of hectic, but the acoustics are o.k. so you have no trouble hearing conversations. The menu has a good mixture of classics and creative dishes.
You can never go wrong with Buteras. My friends and I have been regulars for many many years and we consider it our favorite place to dine.
Food was good but the noise level made it sooooooooooooooo tough to hear each other. It was a special occasion dinner and really was spoiled by the noise level. And I asked for a quiet table. Don't go there if you want to communicate. a perfect place to eat dinner with each other and look at your phne all throught the meal because you cant hear each other.
Always delicious. A great neighborhood restaurant!
Love going to Buteras!! One of my favorite places!!
Another awesome meal with great service!!! Looking forward to my next visit.
What can I say but always great. About 15 miles away but well worth it. Just so you don't embarrass yourself like I did, the manager Seth will not accept an expired coupon.
Went to Butera's on an early Friday night. The server Matt was very attentive and offered helpful suggestions. We started with the sliders and Pizza. Everything was great and plentiful. We followed that with several entree's all of which were very good to great. We enjoyed Butera's Rigatoni and the Steak. Been going to Butera's a long time and have never been disappointed.
Great pick for an Italian restaurant. Many choices to choose from plus they may even make a dish if you ask.
Waitress so accommodating. Delicious food. Good drinks. Reservations honored.
I like the atmosphere here even though it does get quite loud. The food is very good, but I do miss their seafood lasagna. No longer on menu. Butera's is a place I like to frequent.
Excellent! Our go to restaurant . I love that they take reservations for 4 people.
