As always an exceptional experience
The restaurant décor is charming. The manager of the restaurant seated us in a booth as we requested and chatted with us about the restaurant. There is an emphasis on good service and connecting with the guests. We went for Restaurant Week and enjoyed a great meal. The filet was cooked to perfection, the biscuits were amazing, and the pot de crème chocolate dessert was decadent. The only thing that was a surprise was the $6 charge for truffle butter on the steak which was not been mentioned by our waiter. Overall, it was a real treat and I highly recommend it for a great steak dinner.
So I have to be fair I ordered the burger and I ordered it to be done and they made it well done it was burnt and it was dry me and my husband still ate it.

Went for the lunch time restaurant week deal and it did not disappoint. Food and service were great and the price was excellent. Three courses was more than enough food. Took home leftovers.
Everything was absolutely AMAZING!!! Great selection for Restaurant Week. The Butcher Burger was so tasty and the drink selection were great as well. I will be back

We had an amazing time at Butcher &Singer the service was exceptional. We had to wait long but it was worth the wait.
Went for restaurant week. Biscuits were amazing. Food was very good. Additionals very pricey. Drink (BlackBerry martini) was good but not very strong for the price. Server Brian was excellent.

Everytime We have opportunity to dine here it NEVER disappoint Me ! Service is impeccable! All the servers were GREAT & Pleasant demeanor ! And smilies ! That’s SO rare to fine such quality ~ where little things mean ALOT ! I just wish they’d market those dinner rolls!

I honestly expected a Steak to be on the Restaurant menu and the fact that a BURGER was offered in a Steak House is UNACCEPTABLE!! I actually ended up getting a Tbone and it was mediocre compared to A 'TEXAS ROADHOUSE T-BONE STEAK'!!
The food and service were top notch as always! We ended up sitting at the bar, and the fantastic bartender, Ashley, took care of us! She was such a delight, super friendly and very engaging! Enjoyed some amazing potato skins (a must try), Caesar salad (restaurant week selection), and the cheese burger! Best burger I’ve had in the city! Dessert (*insert 3 drool emojis*) was incredible. Everything about this place is pretty much perfect. I always recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a superb steak, and amazing service. Thanks, always

The sad thing is that Restaurant week lunch menu don’t include the steak. But the volume of lunch set is good especially you order a burger. The taste of what I ordered was good, but not as I imagined for a high rated restaurant. The cost performance of restaurant week menu is definitely good.
Tips:they don’t offer bread and butter for lunch.

This was my third time at Butcher and Singer and I’m never disappointed! From the food to the ambience everything is perfect. This is my favorite restaurant and I highly recommend
Came here for Restaurant Week and had a fabulous evening. We arrived early for our reservations just so we could hang out at the swanky bar they have. House cocktails did not disappoint and the bartenders were very professional.
We we seated at a table for two on the upper side level. Table is just big enough to accommodate the required glasses and plates. The styling and ambience make me think that this is where the cast of Mad Men would go when they wanted a steak dinner.
And what a steak dinner it was. My piece of fillet was as tall as it was round. Cooked a perfect medium rare and rested long enough so no juices were waisted yet the meat was still warm. Alas, the stuffed hash browns were not on the prix fixe menu. However the creamed spinach was delicious.
Everything about our evening here had polish and class. The staff was welcoming and helpful both to guests and each other. Working as finely together as the jazz bands that provided the soundtrack for the evening.
Scored a restaurant week reservation for Butcher & Singer and it was worth it based on how pricy the items are regularly. But I still would rather attend when it's now RW and pay full-price, the overall experience seems better that way and the food was better not during RW.
I’ve been to steakhouse’s all over the world and this is my fav. Butcher & Singer has a great vibe & fantastic food and service. Come check this place out.

If you are looking for sumptuous steaks and perfectly crafted cocktails make a reservation here. The service was impeccable as well. The ambiance is that of a low light steakhouse out of the 40s and creates a great atmosphere for a date night or special occasion. We will be back!
To expensive for what you get, not the best STEAKHOUSE I have been to.
If you ever want go to Butcher & Singer ask for Brian he was the best !!!!!
Food was excellent we had the crab cakes and filet for our entrees and they were superb! Service was fantastic and I would highly recommend!
First visit Restaurant week 2020. Wow! Everything was incredible! Food, ambiance, service... We will be back for sure!
Food was tasty but soup, filet, and creamed corn spinach were served lukewarm. Server was not friendly and never checked on us when we received food. I've been here before and I know this is not the norm.
The place is so elegant, our server is very attentive , the food preparation was fast and really taste good. I will definitely come back
Very good for restaurant week. Ambiance is amazing! We ordered “flat water no ice” thinking it was normal tap water but were then charged $7 for the water, which was very expensive.
I think maybe my expectations were a little too high. Service was excellent, and we got some delicious virgin cocktails. As far as food goes, I could have eaten an entire basket of the bread of the butter. And the lump crab was insanely delicious (and I usually dont prefer crab). The mushroom soup was ok, but just couldnt get myself to finish it (maybe it was the grainy texture?), and my steak was cooked a little more like a medium than a medium rare. Mashed potatoes were nice and creamy and well seasoned though. Dessert was standard.

Absolutly my favorite dining experience in Philadelphia! The wait staff was incredible and the food was divine! Highly recommend the truffle butter on the steak, absolutely delicious!

Food was good not amazing. We were seated in the middle area of the restaurant. I felt crowded. We moved the table to try to have more room and the person's seat behind mine was still banging into mine
