Butcher & Bee - Nashville
Hands down the best food we had during our week in Nashville. Delicious, creative, inventive, and fun.
Butcher and Bee is an amazing food place! The turnip pasta is glorious! Lunch is much quieter than dinner. The service was excellent, timely, attentive, but not on the heavy side. Excellent option!
Not for the picky eater! But the whipped feta dip was great. service too.
This is my second time dining at Butcher and Bee and ordered the Whipped Feta both times and it didn't disappoint. Great food and service at a terrific value.
Have had dinner here in the past and really enjoyed it. They seemed off their game for Sunday Brunch. Had reservation for standard seating. Had to wait 10 minutes after checking in and then we were put at the bar. Dirks took several minutes to arrive. Server was courteous but spread thin among other diners that were at tables not at the bar. We ordered two appetizers to share. We got one right away. Then our entrees were delivered and we had to ask for the second appetizer which came about 1/2 way through the entree. No apology or acknowledgment from the server that had happened. Food was really good, but the service was less than.
Fabulous dining experience.......we shared several apps and main dishes and the food was terrific as was the service and ambiance!
We had a delicious meal, great service. We had a corner table which was ok but next time I would request a more centrally located table. I think the problem was that their reservation service did not totally link with Open Table therefore we did not get a choice location.
I totally loved the brunch here! We sat at counter & enjoyed feta dip, egg sandwich, & salad! The best meal I had on my long weekend in Nashville! I definitely enjoyed it & will be back! We even chatted with Chef Anthony, formerly of DC!! Great spot!!
Gorgeous restaurant with pretentious, inattentive service. Dishes are interesting but small for the price. Lots of great vegetarian options.
We loved it and the hostess was extremely accommodating. Seating us in a quieter spot so the elderly of us could hear each other.
The food was a bit esoteric for me and not a lot of choices. I would go back to try something else. Service was great and loved the atmosphere. Depending upon the friend I may or may not recommend this place.
Great food. Service was a bit slow but really good food and nice atmosphere.
Fantastic place for sharing plates and even better if you have veggie lovers at the table!
This was a return visit because I couldn’t quit thinking about the crispy avocado rice and had to have it again! It was just as marvelous as I remembered. My husband had the green eggs and lamb which was also delicious. We tried the blistered shishito peppers which were also lovely. This restaurant is really a gem. Israeli flavors threaded through southern favorites. Great coffee and a nice cocktail list too. The patio is just a bonus!
Loved the atmosphere, food and drinks. Easy for a vegetarian. Not all restaurants have great options.
Food was absolutely incredible and our waitress was out of this world helpful and attentive. Wish I had gotten her name for this review because she truly went above and beyond. So a wonderful night all around and would recommend to anyone
Great restaurant for business or meeting with friends!
Our server was very slow and they were not busy, 1pm on a Friday. We sampled several items, it was kind of hit and miss. Some items were on point (whipped feta, chicken sandwich, corn), others were not (fried cauliflower, dates). Ambience was great, cool place. I'll give it another try.
The food was good. Consistent. I might suggest going before 8pm. For some reason the food was as great as i remember when i went the first time and that could be due to the time of evening. I would still go again.
Amazing food and atmosphere
Enjoyed the ambiance. Loved how we got to explore different tastes. Really liked the way the food comes out when it’s ready so it’s super hot. Food was really good, service was awesome. Will be back.
We have been to Butcher & Bee several times and always leave full and happy. I don’t think anyone has ever had anything that wasn’t wonderful.
Food was very fresh and a healthy alternative to the more traditional food in Nashville. Loved the meatballs , steak and cauliflower mock chicken . Prices were reasonable too! I’d definitely recommend!
Amazing and unique flavors!! Love the vibe and menu! Only disappointment was parking.
Overall 4.5 out of 5. I’ve been there at least 5x and never loved a dessert. Otherwise, the food is usually great. The other item holding this rating down is the price. In comparison to competing restaurants, it’s on the high side.
Amazing unique brunch. Nice middle eastern flair.
Our server was outstanding, as was the food!
Great Food! Great Ambiance! Staff were fantastic! I was hosting a meeting over lunch time and the meeting ran over the end of the lunch time and the team was very kind to allow us to finish our meeting.
Great service and delicious food. Beautiful space too.
The food was so good! I will be back next time I’m in Nashville again! We had the whipped feta appetizer which was so tasty and the green eggs and lamb entree which hit the spot!
This used to be my favourite food spot in 5pts, but I'm just not seeing the same calibre food coming out of the kitchen. I think they lost some serious talent back there because nothing has been mind blowing lately.
I really hope they fix the problem and get back to their old homeostasis.
Butcher and Bee has a lovely vibe with an impressive menu. The gluten free options were plentiful! I highly recommend the dates and the avocado crispy rice. It was really fun to sit at the counter and watch the food being created.
My kids took my husband for Father’s Day. We sat outside on the patio. There was live music and the food was wonderful!
Server was sweet but very slow
Of the 3 restaurants we ate at during our stay Butcher and Bee was our hands down favorite.
The menu is really interesting. Be sure and try the carrots, there amazing.
The service was incredible. They found out it was my birthday and our anniversary. They brought us Tres Leche cake and a chocolate desert, bob were great!
We would definitely go back!
Bacon wrapped figs were great. The trout was delicious.
I used to really love this place, so I'm sure if the menu has changed or what, but it's been severely underwhelming the last few times I've gone. The whipped feta and bacon wrapped dates are by far the bet items on the menu, and the cocktails and service are great, too— it's the rest of the menu that's disappointing.
What a delicious change of pace of our carb and fat heavy culinary tour of the south. Such a nice mixture of Mediterranean food interpreted from local southern ingredients. The dates and the whipped feta standout as do the meatballs and the avocado rice.
I always love coming. I had two complaints this time for the first time. I was in the patio and was the first customers there and it smelled like smoke when we arrived. Second, I could not understand why I could not substitute out of the potatoes on the trout
